How to Quit Addictions Using Law of Attraction & NLP Techniques | Mitesh Khatri

In this Hindi‑English instructional video, host Paridhi Dhingra demonstrates a Neuro‑Linguistic Programming (NLP) visualization method that claims to break any habit—tea, coffee, smoking, alcohol, chocolate, etc.—within five to ten minutes. The session features a live participant, Indu, who shares her 45‑year tea habit, the cravings and triggers she experienced, and then walks through the step‑by‑step NLP process: (1) vividly imagine the desired item (tea) as it is normally enjoyed; (2) deliberately alter the mental image to make it increasingly unpleasant (cold, overly milky, no ginger, adding flies, cockroaches, etc.). Paridhi explains the underlying psychology: addiction is sustained by pleasure imagery, and by replacing that with pain imagery the brain rewires its response. Indu reports that after repeatedly visualizing the “bad” tea, she no longer feels the urge, even on flights where tea is readily available. The video emphasizes the necessity of genuine intention to quit, repeats that the technique works faster when the desire to change is strong, and claims that after 4‑5 days the new visual becomes the default unconscious cue. The latter part of the video shifts to a promotional segment, inviting viewers to a free introductory NLP lesson via a link in the description, outlining registration steps and encouraging subscription and sharing.

How to quit addictions? Addictions like tea, coffee, cigarettes, alcohol. Any one of these addictions can be quit in five to ten minutes of a technique, and I'm not going to only show you the technique. I'm going to give you a real example right now because Indu has quit tea after how many years of tea habit?
I don't know. Maybe I'm fifty year old, so fifty years.
Now you know her age. She doesn't look like her age, right? Absolutely. You look younger than your age, right? Okay. So how many years? Fifty. अरे if you are fifty years, how can you have tea addiction for fifty years?
Okay, forty five years.
You started having tea at the age of five.
Really?
Bad habits since the age of five. I'm much better. I didn't have any bad habits at five.
I know.
Okay. So if you started for like forty five years, you've had this tea addiction.
Yeah.
Describe a little what do you mean by tea addiction? Like what was your temptation for tea? How many times did you have it in a day?
So I used to have it three times in a day. Now, earlier when I was working, I don't know how many times I used to have. I may have maximum four five times in a day.
Five times in a day.
Yeah, four five times.
And if you didn't have tea, what used to happen?
If I didn't have tea, there used to be headache. There used to be craving for tea in the morning, especially. So that was the case. And second thing is, I have had Reasons for tea, like tired, so have tea. I'm feeling good, so have tea.
Smokers are relating to this. Even people who drink, they are also relating to this. Yeah. Bahana chahiye bas.
Bahana chahiye. I have two three friends who come over. They are my tea friends, tea partners. So with them have tea. I mean there are many reasons.
Multiple reasons. Okay. So why did you want to quit this addiction? Because A lot of people want to know, okay, should I quit? Why should I quit? Why did you want to quit?
I wanted to quit. I have been wanting to quit since very long because one, obviously I thought it's not a good habit. And second reason was I wanted to quit milk products, milk basically. And so I thought, let me try doing it. And I told you, do NLP. You did not do it, so I did it myself.
Okay, so those of you who don't know, NLP is a very powerful program called Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It is the superpower of Law of Attraction. Law of Attraction is learning how to vibrate at the right what? Frequency. Now, how to change your frequency in literally 5 minutes, 10 minutes is what NLP is all about. I'll tell you a little more about it at the end of today's video. But in NLP, there's this one particular technique which is all about quitting habits. Bad habits like tea, smoking, alcohol. It can be nail biting. It can be any such bad habits can be quit very, very fast.
Any bad habit, even the bad habit of scratching yourself or just making noise or any bad habit. It is not necessarily having to be as
like tea or smoking.
Eating only, or eating or drinking. It can be any bad habit can be quit with that technique.
So let's give you a demo by asking her questions about how did she use this NLP technique on herself to quit tea. Now, please remember that for this technique to work, one, you got to do it the way Indu is doing it with you. Okay, that's one. Two, you got to want to quit this habit.
Yes.
If you don't want to quit and then you use it, it will not work because that's— it's like you're challenging your mind कुछ भी कर लो नहीं होगा, then I understand it will not work. But if you really want to quit this habit, whatever that quit bad habit that you are watching this video for, और अगर यहाँ तक वीडियो देखा है, some bad habit is there. So whichever is that bad habit, if you really want to quit it, take this intention in your mind right now that this technique is working for you. Because many times the habit is not broken simply because we have this belief
Make this intention. This technique will work for you. Then it will work ninety percent faster, ninety percent better. Ready? So चलो. So in this five minutes, what did you do?
Step one, I I in my mind I visualized tea. Okay. And then I visualized the best tea I ever made. And then I started step in step two. I started making it little by little worst.
Okay, so step one, imagine that thing that you want to have. Step two is make it worse.
Like in my case, I used to like tea with less milk and adrak, I mean ginger, with less sugar. So, and nicely cooked or boiled. So I imagined that and hot, steaming hot. That was my step one. Right. Then step two was I made it cold.
Okay, so imagine that item which is tea or alcohol or cigarettes or whatever it is and make it worse. Slowly, slowly, slowly make it worse. Yeah. That's what you started doing, right? Yeah. The first thing you did was what in the step two?
I just made it cold.
So try it right now. Imagine chai thanda.
It's very bad.
Very bad already. Very bad. What else did you do to the tea in your imagination?
So in my imagination, because I'm I'm very choosy about I was very choosy about tea. So first thing I did is I made it very thanda. Second, I did it. I made it very milky.
More milk.
More.
Now some people may not like that, so you may want to reduce instead of increase. But what you did was you increased too much milk. How did you feel? So imagine right now, cold milk, cold tea
with milk,
double milk.
I didn't even feel like picking it up.
Okay, what else did you do to it?
And the fourth thing I did is I removed ginger from it.
So imagine it,
cold tea, cold tea, too much milk with a lot of— remove the ginger, and there was no ginger in it.
And now check how you're feeling.
I didn't even— I don't feel like having it.
Anything else you added to it?
No, I did not add anything. These are the only 3 things I did.
So the idea is this, Our brain, when we say is addicted to something—
Basically make it as—
Less desirable.
As less desirable as possible.
Yeah. So there are 2 elements of it. There is pain and there is pleasure. When we get addicted to something, we find it pleasurable, which means we imagine it in ways that makes it more and more desirable. If you want to break an addiction, you have to feel pain towards that particular activity. It can be an activity. It can be a cup of tea. It can be cigarettes. It can be alcohol. It can be anything. So to make it painful, you have to slowly visualize elements by adding to it which makes it less desirable and eventually makes it very painful.
I have done it a few times because in in the house tea is being prepared and there is a fragrance of tea. So whenever that happened, I did visualize of not मतलब visualize this cold tea with cold tea too much
milk no adrak.
No, अदरक। Yeah, I did that, and then I did not feel like having tea. So a friend of mine did suggest that do one thing: stop making tea in the house for others also. I said no, it doesn't help. It will not help. So I did that. But then my test was the best test was I was right now traveling to U.S. When I go, I take flights. My go-to drink is tea. Tea in the flight, at the airport, and I did not have tea at all.
Like you didn't even reach for it?
I did not even reach. In fact, मितेश सेड इट सो मेनी टाइम्स दैट तू ट्रेवल कर रही है तो पीले बाद में छोड़ देना वापस जाके but I did not even feel like having it not even once I asked for that tea because how you visually
remember that tea now is
how milky tea cold no ginger no ginger lots of sugar add some
flies also
maybe a lizard
maybe a cockroach but the more you add these elements by sitting at one place and visualizing that thing is that particular Pain, that pain is going to cut that addiction from your mind. Yeah. Normally what we do is we remember the same thing with a lot of love. Like a lot of people, for an example, when they say I love pani puri. Yeah. So when you say I love pani puri, that visual comes to your mind, right? Like the the right environment to have pani puri. बारिश हो रही है और आप पानीपुरी खा रहे हो गोलगप्पे वाला आपको खिला रहा है and the perfect amount of spice and the perfect amount of sweet and you're having it in your hands. See अभी मुंह में पानी आ रहा है probably going to go for pani puri right now. But what did I do? I gave you the right visuals. But if you remove the visuals, for an example, if I am saying But it works, right? See, if you change the visuals of anything, take it from pleasure to what? No, if you do this every day, क्या होगा?
You will not feel like having it.
Whether it's chai?
Whether it's chai, chocolate, पानी You did it for
chocolates, didn't
you? We did it. You did it for chocolate for somebody else, but why did we?
I was doing it for chocolate for somebody else, and she was doing the recording. She put chocolate from then.
Yeah, I rarely eat chocolate.
हाँ, same thing. You had put cockroach and flies and I don't know what not. You had put bubble gum.
So the point is you can quit anything. Like right now there's a team of us who's watching this video right now and some of them wanted to quit coffee. How are you feeling about coffee right now? Have you added some flies in it? Some lizard in it? Some some legs of the cockroach or stuff like that? All right. Now every time you want to have that item. Every time, visualize this.
Visualize it.
And believe me, you are able to quit your addictions using this. Now I understand this technique is simple, but it's very powerful if you do it every day. Maximum?
नहीं maximum four five days. Four five days.
Because it fits in your mind after that.
It fits in your mind after that. You don't have to.
Like the first image now that gets in your mind unconsciously is that tea which you visualized it again and again. Yeah. Right. Once you get that new visual that you've created again and again in your mind has become your new reaction. That addiction goes away.
