In this interview, Paridhi Dhingra recounts her professional evolution, beginning with door‑to‑door sales of low‑cost items, moving into entrepreneurship, and being profoundly influenced by Tony Robbins' book Unlimited Power. This sparked a deep curiosity about human behavior and success, leading her to invest heavily in life‑coaching education and attend programs with Robbins and other industry leaders. Initially, she built a career as a corporate trainer, delivering communication, team‑building, public‑speaking, and sales workshops, eventually specializing in leadership development and motivational speaking for top‑tier companies over a 17‑year span. Parallel to her corporate work, she and her partner taught the Law of Attraction (LOA) for two decades as a societal contribution. Their expertise culminated in two national bestseller books: Awaken the Leader in You (written 2007, published 2008) focusing on leadership, and a second book on the Law of Attraction (written 2011, published 2012). The conversation highlights her transition from sales to coaching, the role of mentorship, and the integration of LOA principles into her professional offerings.
What was your journey to get to this point? What was your experience? What did you do to come till here?
Okay, very interesting journey. So I started my line, line of career with sales. So I was into door-to-door marketing, literally going from door to door when I started my first job selling spoons and massagers for ₹120. Those were the days. And then over a period of time, started working. Being a Marwadi, always got back into entrepreneurship because business was always in the blood. And then after some time, uh, it was— I remember Anthony Robbins' book that inspired me called Unlimited Power.
Yeah.
To truly get into this field of life coaching and understood what this field is really all about. And the question that really intrigued me from that book was, why do human beings do what they do? Like, why are some people successful and some failures? Yeah. 2 people have the same potential, how come one is a total success and the second is an absolute failure? Why? What is the difference? So from there started my journey into understanding why, and I then over a period of years invested crores into my own life coaching, attending multiple programs with Tony Robbins and some of the biggest names in the industry. And the more I learned, it became natural to get inclined to then become a coach, and that's where my journey started. But I didn't start off as a life coach, I started off as a corporate trainer and did, uh, initially I started with communication workshops, team building workshops, public speaking workshops, sales programs. But over a period of time, got finalized as my niche or as my expertise as leadership programs. And so there were 2 topics that we were well known in the corporate world for, for about 17 years before I did Law of Attraction or life coaching, which was leadership and motivational speaking. So some of the largest companies in the world would call us for either leadership workshops for the top management or motivational speech for them.
So these are both national bestsellers.
Yeah. These are both national bestsellers.
And you wrote the leadership one first. Yes. Right? Awaken the Leader in You.
Yes.
How long ago was this written?
This was written in 2007 and published in 2008. And we were, while we were doing leadership program, parallelly we were teaching law of attraction free completely as a contribution to the society. So we've been teaching law of attraction for 20 years. And that time we wrote this second book in 2012. We published in 12, we wrote it in 2011.
