In this workshop anecdote, Paridhi Dhingra recounts a father (named Mitesh) who asked whether the law‑of‑attraction communication methods could be used with his 1‑year‑old son, who previously only slept with his mother and cried when near the father. Paridhi advises a two‑step approach: first, adjust body language; second, modulate tone. The father follows the guidance by lying down beside the baby, mirroring the infant’s posture, and using a gentle tone. Over time the baby turns toward him, makes noises, looks into his eyes, and smiles, eventually sleeping on the father’s bed. The story illustrates how subtle non‑verbal cues and tonal alignment can create rapport with an infant, leading to behavioral change, and serves as a practical example of applying law‑of‑attraction communication techniques to child‑parent interactions.

I remember I was doing this one workshop and there was this one guy who asked me, just like you, he got curious. He said, can I use it on my son? I said, how old is he? He said, 1-year-old. No, hear it out. I said, but why do you want to use it on a 1-year-old boy? He said, Mitesh, since the boy— time this boy is born, he's not slept with me. He said, he sleeps with his mom, but if he comes close to me, he starts crying. He said, oh. Now as a father, how many of you can relate? That's heavy. Yes. Right? So I said, okay, try. He said, what can I try? What is the first step? Body language. Second step? Tone. Tone. Now can you ask a question to a 1-year-old baby? No. No, but here's what he did. He said— next day he came, by the way. After the— this was a 2-day workshop. He came back next day morning. When he spoke to me, his throat was choked. He said, last night was the first time my baby slept with me. Of course, we all clapped and we were all happy with him. So we said, पर किया क्या? He said, you know, for the first time I went home and my baby was on the bed. So instead of directly pouncing on the baby like I usually do, try to pick him up— isn't that what we normally try to do? He said, the baby was lying down on his back, so I lied down next to him on his— on my back. So the baby has— if you've seen a 1-year-old baby, when they lie down even on their back, what do they do? Hands and legs are kind of upwards, right? So he said, I did this. And babies don't stay still. What do they do? So he started doing that. I said, that's weird. I said, what happened after that? He said, after some time, naturally, for some reason, the baby turned. So what did he do? He turned. He said, then the baby started making noise. So you know what? What did he do? He said a time came the baby just looked in his eyes, and he said for the first time he smiled at me. What did the baby's brain do? Scanning. And the brain said what? अपने जैसा है. Suddenly you like the person you didn't like for so long.
