In this short bilingual coaching video, host Paridhi Dhingra and co‑speaker Indu discuss how a single negative action can trigger harsh self‑judgment and derail a person's sense of progress. They illustrate the issue by listing several positive actions a viewer might have performed in a day—waking up on time, having breakfast with family, arriving at work punctually, helping colleagues, making someone smile, and learning something new. When a later mistake (e.g., getting angry with a partner or boss) triggers a negative generalization like “I’m a horrible person,” they explain that this is a cognitive bias that magnifies one error over many successes. The solution offered is to stop negative generalizations and replace them with positive affirmations, reinforcing the tally of good deeds. The video repeatedly invites viewers to join a free Advanced Law of Attraction lesson (link in bio) for deeper personal coaching, and asks the audience to comment with the negative generalizations they will stop and the positive ones they will adopt. The overall tone is conversational, supportive, and motivational, aiming to shift mindset through simple mental reframing and community engagement.

Can you show them, Indu?
Wake up on time.
Okay, wake up on time is a good action, right?
Very important,
right? Second action,
um, it can be you had good breakfast with your family.
Okay, so you had good breakfast with your family. Third action,
it can be you went to office on time.
Okay, went to office on time. Fourth good action,
you help somebody.
Okay, so you got into the office and you helped your team members,
or maybe at home,
or at home. Fifth good action.
Fifth good action can be
made somebody smile in the office,
made somebody smile at home or office, at home
or at work, right? And one more good action, you learned something new with us, right? So one more good action on the top. And as you were taking all these good, good, good, good actions,
your day was going perfectly fine,
perfectly fine. And then somewhere during the day, maybe in the end of the day, You made one wrong action of getting angry at your life partner or getting angry with your boss. And the moment you got angry, you felt, I'm such a horrible person. Why did I do this? Or you feel—
I feel that, oh my God, my entire life is screwed.
And the moment you feel that, you feel like what?
You feel like your life is gone. You're a horrible, horrible person.
And you feel like my life is destroyed. I'm a horrible person. And we say these things to ourselves. But you know what the fact is? The fact is you did so many good things during the day.
During the day, right? You had so many good actions.
You did. And you cannot take that away from yourself. You cannot take away the advantages, the benefits, the credit of the fact that you woke up on time, you had a good time with your family for breakfast, you reached office on time, you helped your colleagues. Not just that, you made somebody smile and you learned something new. So what if one thing went wrong? The reason we feel so bad about ourselves or about our life is because of this one thing that we do called generalization. Stop this negative generalization that I am a horrible person, that my life is screwed up, right? No, you are an amazing person. And if you want to do generalization, do a positive generalization.
