In this segment Paridhi Dhingra explains why many people find their affirmations ineffective. She argues that while affirmations are typically practiced in the morning and evening, the emotional and mental state during the rest of the day—specifically negative feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and actions (FTBAs) such as sadness, self‑doubt, overeating, anger, or helplessness—cancels out the frequency of the affirmations, rendering them powerless. To make affirmations work, she advises consciously cultivating positive emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and actions (e.g., feeling happy, successful, rich, satisfied) throughout the day. By aligning daily inner states with the affirmations, the positive frequency is reinforced, allowing the affirmations spoken in the morning and evening to be effective.
