Re-write your past and heal your trauma with this powerful exercise.

In this short guided therapeutic session, Paridhi Dhingra leads a participant (Speaker B, referred to as “Abdu”) through a visualization and affirmation exercise aimed at re‑writing a painful memory from age 15. The participant is asked to close his eyes, recall the school situation, and repeat a series of positive statements—“Life is easy,” “I’m satisfied,” “People are loyal to me,” and “I have the yang energy to deal with the bullies.” The exercise encourages the participant to embody confidence, self‑assertiveness, and a sense of energetic power (yang) while confronting past bullies, suggesting he can be selfish and retaliate if needed. The overall goal is to shift the emotional pattern associated with the original trauma, replace it with empowering beliefs, and foster a sense of agency and safety.
