This is a YouTube video clip from Real Estate Team OS (episode 46) featuring Kyle Draper discussing scaling challenges for real estate teams. The speaker recounts an early model that worked for a 3–4 person squad but hit a bottleneck around seven agents; the approach didn’t scale past roughly 7–20 agents, prompting new playbooks Kyle used en route to growing to 40+ agents.

When we first started when we were basically just a four person squad, like three agents and an admin, it worked really, really well and I was very much in production and we were partnering on every deal basically like I would handle a decent amount of the showings. Our duties were very much split and then that continued to work as we added a few more agents. But then we hit just this kind of like breaking point. I want to say when we were around seven agents because that model does not scale. I can't continue to be a like partner and continue to take on that same responsibility with that many more people. You just can't like duplicate that way. So that was I'd say our probably biggest inflection point. That 7 to like 20 agent threshold is hard.
Kyle Draper shares the paths he pursued in the playbooks he used en route to 40 agents and beyond. Check out episode 46 of Real Estate Team OS.
