A short podcast-style conversation from Real Estate Team OS exploring whether agents should build 'teams within teams' and how team leaders can support such internal teams. Speakers discuss providing structure, lead generation, and mentorship so agents grow within an existing team rather than separately. The episode references prior conversations with founder George Lawton and COO Billy Hobbs.
If you're an agent, should you build your team inside a team? If you're a team leader, how do you support teams inside your team? These are increasingly relevant questions. Here's how one team is addressing them.
Agents want a way to grow their team. So, you know, leads are part of it, right? So we can help provide them the structure and leverage our relationships and the way that we can generate leads to give them the space that they need to grow their team. So we try to look at the things that internally that we have struggled with to grow and that we feel like we're doing a better job at and pass that down to them, give them that opportunity. Because again, I'll go back to it, you know, if you don't give them that pathway and the support, they're going to do it on their own anyway, and you just won't be a part of it. And we just don't think that that's the best way, you know, for this to happen.
