This is a YouTube video titled "#collaboration not #dogeatdog" created on December 1, 2023, featuring Melissa discussing the importance of collaboration in high-performing teams within the real estate industry, contrasting it with the competitive nature she has observed over her 23-year career.
Melissa, thank you so much for doing this. To get us started, I want to ask you what is a must have characteristic of a high performing team? Oh, collaborative in nature. That concept of if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. That ability to gather together, to share ideas, to communicate and help each other out. Despite how I appear, I've been in the business for 23 years. The industry kind of went dog eat dog over the years, and it was very much like, don't tell them what I'm doing, like, don't show them my special flyers. And I really disliked that about the real estate industry. I really saw the benefit of my agents sharing ideas and just being able to teach each other little tips, little tricks.
