Short transcript from a Real Estate Team OS YouTube episode where a speaker explains why they committed to the real-estate team model: to build a very strong, shared culture and relational-capital-focused organization, and the challenge of scaling that culture. The clip also references episode 33 featuring multiple team leaders discussing the team model.
When and why did you commit to the team model in real estate?
I knew I wanted to start an organization that had a really, really, really thick, strong culture, which of course gets thrown around a lot in our industry, the word culture. But what that meant to me was everyone seeing the world the same way, everyone using the same vocabulary, everybody thinking the same way, driving towards the same goal. When we started, it was very much from a perspective of this has to be a very tight knit relational capital group. And then of course the challenge of that is taking something so special and so strong and scaling it to the degree that we want. We started as a Team Ridge before the word Team Ridge was even a thing in the industry. So I didn't know we were doing that. But that's, that's ultimately what we, what we did.
Seven different team leaders and Team Ridge owners weigh in on the real estate team model. Check out episode 33 of Real Estate Team OS.
