Short YouTube podcast clip from Real Estate Team OS (episode promo) in which Greg Harrelson and a guest discuss the four core value areas brokerages should provide to attract agents: coaching, lead generation, transaction management (assistants/processors), and marketing. The speaker frames these as where agents spend money and therefore what brokerages should offer.
Here are the four things every team, team, ridge and brokerage should be providing agents.
That's been a long standing argument amongst brokerages. It's like, well, what's our value? What is value? And I'm like, well, who cares what our value is? What do agents value? I don't know. How do we know? Well, why don't we just follow their money? Okay, what do they spend a lot of money on? Coaching? Well, they must value that. They spend a lot of money on leads. They must value that. They spend a lot of money trying to figure out how to hire assistants, transaction managers, processors, VAs. They spend lot of money on transaction management and they spend a lot of money on marketing. That's where a significant portion of their money goes. No matter what their value proposition is, you're going to see every team has those four things as a value proposition. They make candy. They may add a bunch of enhancements to it, but those four are the staples.
