Excerpt from a Real Estate Team OS YouTube video (episode 65) in which Lisa Stafford describes running her team differently: she does not use buyer agents and emphasizes preserving each agent’s individual identity (listings remain in the agent’s name) while providing one-on-one coaching, training, and shadowing to avoid agents getting lost in larger offices.

My team has always been run differently. I don't have buyer agents so my philosophy when speaking to someone to say, hey, let me tell you about my team structure always was you're going to maintain your own identity. You get that listing appointment and you get that listing signed that goes in your name. That's not going in my name. At that time, agents didn't necessarily want to lose their identity, but they like that support system. Especially if you're in an office of 200 agents, you're going to get lost in the shuffle. You're going to come in. Everybody has the best intentions to spend time and train and coach but they just can't because they have to prioritize down the list of who needs what. So what you were able to have on my team was one on one with me coaching, training, shadowing me.
