A short YouTube transcript excerpt (Real Estate Team OS) recounts playing a recorded call during a team meeting/coaching session. The speaker describes initial fear among participants, then explains how the exercise established a safe, supportive space where individual experiences become shared lessons, enabling people to handle similar scenarios in the future.
We will play a recording of a call at a team meeting or a coaching session, and it becomes a coachable moment for everybody in the organization. The first time we did that, the look of fear on everybody was definitely in their eyes. It's like, oh, please don't pick any of my calls. But, you know, again, it was a very powerful experience for them the first time because taught them, like, okay, you know what? Like, one, this is a safe space, and we're here to support each other and for all of us to get better. Your experience can become my experience. And then when I have a scenario like that again, then that can now be something that I will now know how to handle.
