Transcript excerpt from Real Estate Team OS (episode 38) where Lisa Ryan asks about key measures of success for an Inside Sales Agent (ISA) team. Speaker A emphasizes measuring appointment-setting volume and consistency, show-up rate (noting their show-up is just under 90%), and the ratio of inbound to outbound appointments (aiming for roughly 50/50 when possible). The speaker also stresses follow-up and nurturing for leads and avoiding low-quality 'spray-and-pray' appointment setting.
What are some of the key measures of success for your ISA team?
So aside from measuring how many appointments we're setting, making sure that an ISA is consistent too, we don't want to have months where a lot of appointments are set and then not so many and then a lot. So we're looking for consistency as far as number of calls made appointments at. But at the same time we're measuring their show up rate. We want to make sure that they're not throwing a bunch of stuff out there hoping that it sticks. We have one of the highest show up rates in the country. We applaud ourselves on that. We're sitting at just under 90%. And then I also like to measure inbound versus outbound rate. I need to make sure that you can follow up with these leads, nurture them, stay in front of them, and actually set an outbound appointment for somebody that you hustle and stay on top of. Well, I like to measure that the ISA has a good ratio for inbound versus outbound. Our inbound volume is pretty high, so realistic number I'd love to be at 50 50, but if that ISA set 20 appointments, that would be me asking them to send 20 outbound.
