A short YouTube segment from Real Estate Team OS arguing that individual real estate agents can reduce cost, risk, and improve quality of life by joining teams. Speaker B contends teams will grow because solo agents cannot match team-level marketing/lead-gen and some agents prioritize ego/split over family income; the clip promotes episode 39 featuring Andrew Duncan.
If you're a real estate agent looking to offload cost and risk, here's a great idea for you.
The reality is, is that you can't compete from an advertising and lead gen perspective with somebody who has, you know, a 20 year PhD in marketing and lead generation. So I think teams are going to grow more dramatically over the next few years. There are so many agents that would make more money on a team and have a better quality of life. Unfortunately, real estate, it's very ego driven. There are a lot of real estate agents that care more about their face on that sign and the split they get to tell their friends they're than the money they bring home to their family. You know, I'm on 100% split. You did three freaking deals last year. You should have worked at Walmart. You know, like I think there's going to be a movement of pretty good agents that just get good enough at business and math to realize that they're not making more than their friends that are on teams that don't have all that cost, expense and risk.
