Sleep Now - 1.2 - Releasing The Beginning Tapping

This is a YouTube video titled "Sleep Now - 1.2 - Releasing The Beginning Tapping" created in June 2015. The content is a guided meditation or therapeutic session involving two speakers engaging in a tapping technique to release old fears and emotional pain, aimed at relaxation and emotional healing. The dialogue is supportive and soothing, focusing on overcoming feelings of abandonment and fear.
You're doing such a great job. This is kind of tough. These are tough subjects. And the really great thing is, when you clear these thorns out of your shoe, it's going to be so nice to walk or sleep. So take a nice, slow, deep breath. It's time to release these old fears and patterns. Feel your feet on the floor. Feel your butt in the chair. Wiggle your toes and just feel the air temperature around you. Feel how supported you are right this minute. You don't have to do anything. You can just let the sound of our voices reach you. Let them come to you through time and space and soothe you and help you release these old energies that don't serve you anymore. They once served you beautifully. They were the best you could do at the time. They were really brilliant. And now it's okay to let them go. One more nice, slow, deep breath. Let this one really reach to the bottom of your toes. Karate chop. Even though I did feel so abandoned.
Even though I did feel so abandoned.
Completely isolated.
Completely isolated.
And so, so afraid.
And so, so afraid, I did survive. I did survive.
And I can let those old feelings go.
And I can let those old feelings go.
Even though I was frozen in terror.
Even though I was frozen in terror.
And I thought they abandoned me.
And I thought they abandoned me.
My primitive brain was completely frightened.
My primitive brain was completely frightened.
I can find a new way of holding that.
I can find a new way of holding that.
Because I was really little.
Because I was really little.
And I still made it through.
And I still made it through.
Even though that was horrible.
Even though that was horrible.
And I never want to experience it again.
And I never want to experience it again.
Maybe I don't have to feel that way when I go to bed at night.
Maybe I don't have to feel that way when I go to bed at night.
Maybe I can have a new experience.

Top of the head. I. I was so alone.

Under the eye. And no one showed up.

Under the nose. I thought the world was broken.

Chin. And then I might die.
And that I might die.
Collarbone. I send soothing love back to my younger self.

Collarbone. You can listen to my heartbeat.
You can listen to my heartbeat under the arm.
And know with every breath.
And know with every breath.
Top of the head. You are deeply loved.
You are deeply loved.
Take a nice, slow, deep breath. And I'd like to encourage you to go to the bottom of this page and right now, while it's fresh in your mind. Leave a comment Share what you noticed, good or bad, Upsetting or celebratory or just neutral or I still feel numb. Leave something. Because when we feed back with each other, we feel less alone. By engaging, by breaking the silence, you break that freeze response. You start letting yourself be part of the world now, as opposed to a small child who's frozen. And your words will probably make a difference for someone else. So we encourage you to do that right now. Do it for you, and do it for your copatriots going through this process.
