Sleep Now - 2.3 - Missing Out Tapping

Two speakers guide you through a tapping exercise to work through the sadness and anger that come with missing out when you go to bed. It's about using emotional release to build better sleep habits.
If I go to bed now, I'll miss out where that may settle in your body. This may or may not be an issue for you, but for those of us where it is, it can keep us up, up being kind of prodding ourselves with that sense of missing out and that keeps our biology cranking. So in my model of healthy sleep, there's a transition point. There's a point where you really want to give yourself permission to let go of the day. And so let's do some tapping on that missing out feeling. So if I go to bed now, I'll be missing out. You can say that out loud and feel what happens in your body.
Well, I have such sadness when I think about that.
Yeah, I have a little anger right here. Resentment. There may be a picture that comes to you, a time in your life where that resonates and just tune into it if it has a certain intensity, 0 to 10. Note that. And let's do some tapping together. Even though if I go to bed.
Now, Even though if I go to.
Bed now, I'll be missing out, I'll.
Be missing out, A part of me feels that way Part of me feels.
That way and it's so confusing and.
It'S so confusing and I honor and respect this conflict and I honor and respect this conflict.
Even though if I go to bed.

For bed anyway and I'm open to feeling surprisingly ready for bed anyway Even.
Though a part of me is convinced that I'll be missing out Even though.
A part of me is convinced I'll be missing out and I need to.
Stay hyper and I need to stay hyper and I need to stay going.
I need to stay going.
Part of me knows it's time for.
Bed Part of me knows it's time for bed.
And I give my body permission to become bedworthy and I give.
My body permission to get ready to be bedworthy.

And I'm resolving this conflict right now.
And I'm resolving this conflict right now.
Top of the head. With the choice to get ready for.
Bed With a choice to get ready.
For bed and tune my energy for that experience.
Tune my energy for that experience. I think a lot of this comes too. When we were really little, younger kids had to go to bed earlier and all the big kids were doing the fun stuff. So there's old stuff there. And I think sometimes if we recognize that we're a person too and that going to bed is a time to spend lovingly with ourselves, we don't have to be missing out on what everybody else is doing. We can actually that can be time for introspection and gentle care to ourselves which is so powerful.
Absolutely.
Good job. We'll see you on the next tapping.
