The Evolutionary Path - navigating the current shift | FULL WORKSHOP

A workshop on navigating technological change and AI through meditation, surrender, and gift-based economics. The facilitator argues machines already know us and may anticipate our needs, that self-knowledge comes from observing emotional reactions, and that small relational circles are seeds for larger societal change.
Sam My intention for today is to make a contribution to prepare us all for the turbulent and at the same time, beautiful times ahead. I believe in front of us, like collectively, as a species on this planet, lie the most turbulent times that we ever witnessed in the history of humankind. And at the same time, the most beautiful times in the history of humankind. And these, like two polarities set us up for an, for a quite adventurous. Right. I want to explore today what needs to be done in order to thrive in the times ahead. In order to thrive in the new Earth. In order to thrive. And the new paradigm that's emerging right now. In part one, we will do a journey through the evolution of humanity. That's where the workshop is called the Evolutionary Path. Because every time I take a moment to really grasp where we are coming from and our unique history as a species, that gives me a profound sense of gratitude and awe of like, oh my God, like the collective forces conspired in a way that we are at this pivotal moment in time. Holy shit. That I'm able to witness all of that, it's just, it's just like a huge gift. And at the same time, connecting ourselves with history enables us to, with higher probability of being right, to project what may happen in the future. Nobody knows what will happen in the future, but I think if you understand history, we have quite good chances to get a grasp of what might be ahead on our paths. And that's why our first, first endeavor in this space today will be an exploration of, of the history of our species, of humanity. And then the second phase, we will explore how do we align ourselves with the shift that's happening right now? And how can we thrive in the future after we learned where we are coming from? And what are the. What is the, what is the unique moment in time that we are at all? Right? What is the journey that led us to this moment? Everything began with what probably most of us have no recent memory of. 4.66 billion years ago, this Earth formed. The planet that we are inhabiting is around 4.6 billion years old. And for the first almost 1 billion year, almost nothing happened. 3.8 billion years ago, the first single celled organisms developed. And later on they made quite an evolution into various more complex life forms. The first multicellular organisms, and then later on, plants and, and animals. And this process of evolution went on and on and on. And of these 3.8 billion years since life on Earth has started, 99.999% of the time, there were no human beings the first, let's not call them human beings, let's call them the predecessors of human beings, the Homo habilis. They emerged 2.8 million years ago. So since 2.8 million years ago, there's some kind of human species on this planet. These are our first, earliest ancestors. And then it took again quite a while until Homo sapiens, as we know our species today, really formed around 100,000 years ago. We can really speak of humans. So in order to put the, the timeline into perspective, imagine like a, like a 10, 10 meter timeline. 10 meters would be like, from me to this tree behind me, like 10 meters. And if we, if we have these like 10 meters, check in by yourself. What is 10 meters away apart from you? Like, these 10 meters are representative of the time span since this Earth formed. And then of these 10 meters, the width of a human hair, 1, 1 human hair represents the time since when human beings are on this planet. Like 10 meters until this tree is when Earth formed. And of these 10 meters, the width of a human hair is human history. And when I, when I, when I learned that, I was like, this feeling of gratitude that I exist within the width of a human hair. What the, what the. Like, what a tremendous gift to be alive during these times. 100,000 years ago, the first Homo sapiens arrived. They were roaming around in the African savannah and they were trying to survive. And they developed the first, the first technology in order to ensure their survival. They developed the first stone tools. They learned to handle fire in order to keep themselves warm and to, to make food. And they started to speak with each other. The first forms of language emerged during this time. So you could say, even though, like, these earliest forms of technology don't look like our modern technology, with all these smartphones and artificial intelligence and robots and all the craziness that is manifesting right now, like, the first forms of technology look pretty different, but at the same time, they lay the foundation of what we use today in the form of technology. So you could say that humans have been cyborgs from day zero. Our tools are an essential extension of our bodies and our abilities. If humans wouldn't have started to use technology, we wouldn't have survived. Like, just imagine, like just Homo sapiens in the African savannah without technology, without spears, without bows and arrows, without stone axes, without fire, without communication, is pretty helpless. But through the use of technology, we embarked on a pretty impressive journey. And this is what the model of spiral dynamics you maybe heard about it describes as the evolution of human consciousness, the evolution of human values. Everything started with what we just saw, as described as stage beige. The color beige is in spiral dynamics, a representation of these earliest forms of Homo sapiens that were roaming around, maybe just like little families or individuals roaming around, trying to survive and having a hard time to survive. But then, 50,000 years ago, half of the width of a human hair, the next step in human evolution took place. And this is what the spiral describes as, as purple. When Homo sapiens discover that it's much easier to survive, it's much easier to ensure you have enough food, to ensure you won't get eaten by a tiger during the night, that you will not freeze when it's cold, and that you will not starve when there's no food. It's much easier to survive when you're living in a tribe. And this is characterized in spiral dynamics as the stage purple. Stage purple is a major, major, major, major step from what we previously saw. Because when human beings, like the social animals that we are today, when they came together in groups and bands and tribes and said, okay, let's fight for our survival together, this led the foundation for the spreading of Homo sapiens all over the planet. Before, like, there were just like a couple of them in the African savanna, they were quite, quite, quite rare. But then when they came together as a group, this marked the explosion that humanity embarked on in the. In the past 50,000 years. And this shows us, like, alone we are pretty weak, but together as a group, we are capable of such incredible feats. And then these little more evolved form of human beings live together and tribes and set around the fire and hunted mammoths together, and they lived a pretty aligned life with the whole ecosystem. And then 10,000 years ago, a tenth of the width of the human hair, a tenth, like incomprehensible human beings made their next big leap. And this was with the invention of agriculture when we realized that it's much easier to ensure that we have enough food if we don't. Like every day when we get hungry, just roam around and hopefully we will find a mammoth or we'll find some berries or whatever. It's much easier to survive and to have enough food if we grow food by ourselves, if we work with the land, and if we plant certain things so that we in the future might reap the harvests of what we planted before, and then we have a huge surplus, and we can store that when times are bad, when there are famines and so on and so on. So this led us to the invention of agriculture. And the invention of agriculture was A was a pivotal step in human history because this ended the previously animistic worldview. Homo sapiens had animistic meaning that everything is like animate, everything is like living. The stones are living, and then there are the gods, and then there's the spirit of the waterfall and the mountains and the sun and the moon, and everything had meaning. And that's like. Earliest forms of human beings that are described within the spiral as stage purple. They lived a pretty spiritual life, you could say they were, like, really connected with everything around them and everything had meaning. But you cannot believe in the spirit of the buffalo if you put a ring in his nose and tie it, like, tie it so that it supports you with working your land, and then you hit it all day so that it doesn't interfere with your goals that you have for it. Of course, you cannot believe in the spirit of the buffalo if you're treating it like this. So the animistic worldview ended, and we embarked on a much more individualistic, much more egocentric phase of humanity that still holds until the present day. And in this phase, because of the invention of agriculture, private property emerged. Like, before, there was no possessions. There was no mine. There was no yours. There was not. Like everything was just there. You went there and then you harvested, and then you. You pick the berries from the tree that you found, or you hunted a. You hunted an animal or like, there was no possessions. But when we have a land and we work on the land in order to maybe a couple of months down the road harvest something, of course it needs to be my land, because if I do the work and then. And then in two months somebody else comes and just harvests it, of course, it's a pretty shitty deal. So private property emerged. The concept of my. And at the same time, the. The. The concept of marriage emerged in order to secure. In order to secure that you are, quote, unquote, putting in the work into human beings that will later. That will later look after you. So it was my child before, it was a child of the community, and there were just women and men and everything was, like, interconnected. And now it was more like, okay, if I support you because I protect you, or if I carry out your baby, of course I need to know that you will be there for me. And we will need to be tied together in order to make this whole setting work. And just like sharing love and abundance is not working anymore, and we need to protect. And that's how the institution of marriage arose. And. And simultaneously, people step more and more out of the present moment before, it was just like full presence. People were living, like, in alignment with the land and whatever was there. If it was raining, they were looking for some place to cover. If they were hungry, they wanted to get some food. If they were tired, they sleep. And it was just like full presence. But if your, if your survival in the form of food depends on you are doing work, like now, and maybe a couple of months down the road you will harvest, you cannot live in the moment because if you're like, oh, I'm not motivated to work today, no, no, no, I'm not hungry, I've eaten enough, I don't need to work. Of course, then in three months, you will regret it. So you need to do something now in order to reap rewards in the future. Something that still holds to this present day. That people have a really hard time living in the moment because they are always like, okay, I need to work, I need to do this, I need to do that, because then in retirement, I will be saved, whatever. And, yeah, that robs us of our most precious gifts, the present. That's why it's called a present. And this is what, what like this collectively with the invention of agriculture, is what the Spiral describes as Stage Red. Stage Red is like really impulsive, really egocentric, really like just mine. Like, I don't care about any. Anybody else as long as the other people are not there to enrich myself. Of course I will care about my wife, I will care about my allies, I will care about my children, but not because of them, but because of their role in my thriving. And as probably crazy as that sounds, there was a step forward in the evolution of humanity from the animistic, really aligned with the land lifestyle of Stage Purple. Even though it may seem like a catastrophe as like a step back, it's a step forward because it is a step into the direction of the cultivation of the individual. Before, there was like, almost no individual. It was just like we as a tribe. And then Stage Red marked the first step towards the cultivation of the individual, which is important. And what we are seeing now in order to make a little glimpse forward into the spiral, what we're seeing now is the invitation to bring both together, to bring the individual and the collective together. Like, both. And yeah, that's why State Red was a necessary step in the evolution of humanity. And then 5,000 years ago, oh, stop making these comparisons with the width of human hair. You realize that it's like, it's almost no time. It's like the blink of an Eye compared to the, to, to how long we, we already have the joy of having this beautiful planet called Earth. Around 5,000 years ago, the next phase evolved. And this is characterized in spiral dynamics by blue. And blue was a, was a response to the chaos and to the unpredictability of red. Because what we just learned is that red is like really chaotic, really unpredictable. Like, I'm just following my own impulses and I don't care about anybody else. Like there's just like me and mine and if somebody, like, if somebody says something bad about me, maybe I will just punch them in the face, like no matter what. And this resulted in a pretty chaotic society. And then people got, they had enough of that. They wanted stability, they wanted safety. And this is what's represented by the car, by the color blue. Religion emerged. The people were able to not only gratify their own, like impulses and needs in the present moment, but they were, they were, they were capable of believing in a, in a separate entity, something like God. And this resulted in them having a kind of North Star, a kind of direction, a kind of entity that enables me to judge what is good, what is bad. And there was again a step, a step forward because it, because it expanded the perspective of the, of the individual. It was more, not more like, okay, I, what do I want in the year, in the present moment? But it was more like, okay, let's, let's look into the future and let's plan ahead and let's get the stability and let's agree on certain rules. And at the same time, this set a, a war in motion against the untamed human being, against our impulses. Something that we see to this date that just doing what you want, just following your impulses, just like being and doing and moving through this world like how you see fit is something that's condemned by most people because this blue paradigm is still really strong of you need to be predictable, you need to work your job, and then you need to climb up the ladder and then like 30 years later you will retire. And this is all rooted in the, in the, in the stage blue descript on the spiral. And this led to not only small tribes doing agriculture and maybe fighting against each other. This led to the invention of nation states, like really like big groups of people coming together. The Chinese Empire, the Roman Empire and so on. Really big groups of people led by charismatic, powerful leaders. And this ensured that human beings could coordinate at a much bigger scale than before. Before it was just like a couple of people coordination, coordinating, coordinating with each other. And now it was like thousands or even millions of people in one nation moving in one direction, which is like incredibly complex. And this required a lot of other inventions like written language. Written language was something that was not existing before the codification of laws like really, really have like document which we all agree on. What are the things that are appropriate and what are the things that are not appropriate and what are probably the, the consequences of you doing something that is not appropriate which resulted in the stability that before was not there before. It was just like chaos and wild and survival of the fittest and the strongest would, would harass everybody else. And now we have this kind of stability. And the invention of money falls into this era too to enable like trade far and wide and the coordination of these like big empires. And this resulted in the, in the, in the arising of patriarchal family structures of like this, this, this leader of the family making all the decisions and everybody else obeying something that we still to this day trying to leave that behind more and more. But this was, this was really set, set into stone in this, in this era. And this era that started around 4,5000 years ago was, is still really present to this day. But was the, the majority of the, of the, of the, of the or was, was present and the majority of the, of the people on this planet for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. It's only around 600 years ago in the 1400s, a time that is like just like really the snap of a finger in the, in the Earth's history. Then the next phase and human inhuman evolution emerged. And this is what the Spiral describes as orange. That's an image of John D. Rockefeller, the richest man in the history of our, of our species. He amassed insane riches by exploiting a lot of people. And this is the essence of Stage Orange. This is the really like the liberation of the individual from the shackles of the collective that we before and stage, Stage Blue witnessed where the nation state or the religion or anybody said what you can do and what you cannot do and how good life looks like. And Stage Orange is like all of that. I want to do my own thing. I want to be free, I want to be wealthy. It's like the personification of the American dream. From rags to riches. And this is what Stage Orange really cherishes like this, this independence and this possibility. So if you are not making it, then it's your fault. But you always have to have the chance to really work hard and to make it. That's something that around that emerged around 600 years ago, which is still to this day the dominant paradigm on this planet. And which, but we will dive into that a little bit later which is responsible for the destruction of, of the planet as we see it right now. During this era of stage Orange dominionship, we saw inventions like the printing press, the possibility to store knowledge in books and to spread them far and wide was something that was not there before. Before people just like spoke and there were certain elite that was able to write, but there was not something that was really widespread. And now like the average man, the average woman had the chance to put their knowledge, their perspective in a book and to spread that. And that, that was an incredible, incredible opportunity that, that, that, that was set in motion by this. And at the same time we have the invention of the steam engine which you see on the, on the, on the photo. The steam engine paved the way for extracting the oil and the coal out of this planet that was stored there for millions of years and then use that for fuel for cars or for lighting in our homes or for building, building big, big, big skyscrapers. Like the, the modern world that we see right now began in this, in this era. Capitalism begin in this area like the focus, the focus on money and the creation of a, of an economic system that, that was really nice for people who were very ruthless and very ambition ambition and very like determined to, to make it. That's something that the stage Orange paradigm supports or invites. And in this era we as well saw the beginning of mass production. Before like everybody just did their own small things in their own like shops and they sold them, but like really like mass producing things again in this era too. And one thing, and this is a topic that we will probably dive into in the future in a separate workshop because it's so important. The topic of education, like modern day education as we see it right now started with the, with the, with the widespread of state orange values in the 18th century. It's not long ago, it's like around 150 years ago what we now call schools and universities was founded in Prussia, what is now Germany. There was a, there was a war against France, against Napoleon and Prussia lost this war. And then they tried to figure out, okay, how can we, how can we raise our chances in future wars? We need to have more obedient soldiers who are just like not asking any questions, who are just like doing their thing. Okay, how can we, how can we get more obedient soldiers? We need to prolong childhood. People cannot grow, grow up so fast. Like in the past, people grew up by 12 and then they had kids by 15, something that is now unthinkable. And they like the elites, they, they learned from how to domesticate an animal, how to break their will. And then they, and then they copied these techniques and used them to domesticate humans, to domesticate the young. And there were like three principles that they followed. First, they needed to separate the young from their parents during daylight hours. They confined them in closed spaces with minimal stimulation and restricted access to their natural habitat. And they used rewards and punishments to compel compliance with these seemingly purposeless tasks. Does this resemble the modern education system? Pretty much, yeah. And the result were a lot of obedient soldiers and a lot of compliant workers in the factories. And this led to the spreading of cities, urbanization. And yeah, this school system, this education system spread like super fast from, from Prussia to all, all the neighboring states in Europe and in the US and so on. And this is something that we still have today, like children being forced to be at school at 8am and then they need to sit still and they need to do what the teacher is saying. And then in the afternoon they maybe can go home, but they have a lot of homework. And what is of their interest doesn't really matter. They need to do what they are told. And this was founded around 150 years ago. And something that absolutely needs to change in these times that we're living in right now, because it's, it's so obsolete. Yeah, but the Stage Orange values really transformed the face of the earth. Like cities. More and more cities arose. Urbanization was spreading really fast. The car was invented, the elevator was invented. The car was there to make people move horizontally and the elevator was used to let people move like vertically. So the city was spread in both directions. Skyscrapers and cars and suburbs and the sprawl of more and more of the urban landscape. Then Almost recently, in 1946, the computer was invented. And all in all, in the 20th century, we saw a huge population explosion with the rise of urbanization and all the other inventions that came before. And if this, and that's probably not hard to imagine, if this Orange value complex would continue into the future, we will probably fuck this whole planet up. Because stage orange cares only about their own well being, their, only their own wealth. But around 150 years ago, like the first seeds of the next step in human evolution were seeded and they are only sprouting now. They lay dormant for quite a while. And now we see them more and more And I'm talking about what the spiral describes as green. Stage green is a, is something completely different compared to the orange paradigm that was, that was, that was there before. Stage Green values emotions. Stage Green values connectedness, peace on earth. Stage Green for the first time develops the capacity for compassion, empathy, that I care about you not because you benefit me in a certain way, um, but because of you. It's like total, like really the moment I learned that it was really crazy. I could not comprehend it. The majority of people on this planet who are still in the, in the orange value system or before in the blue value system, on the red value system. The majority of people on this pan, on this planet does do not have the capacity for empathy. Real compassion only starts in green. Before that, it's just like, okay, I care about you because you pay me money or you will protect me, or you are my child and you will care for me when I'm old or whatever. But real like, empathy. I care about you because of you. That's a fairly new invention of humanity. That's crazy. Right now we have only around 10% of the global population that is in contact with this green green worldview. So 90% of the world is in one of the stages before or like almost 90%. And what this newfound sensitivity of green gifts us with is the chance to feel all the emotions that arise when we connect with all the destruction that we caused before. And that's a tough pill to swallow. Like really seeing the amount of destruction and the amount of sorrow and the amount of pain like this blue orange complex before created in the world, be it in us human beings or in the animals or like the whole planet, is incredible. Is really incredible. And this is what we feel in green. And that's why green is a very beautiful worldview to, to live in. And at the same time, it's a very challenging one because we are always confronted like this over sensitivity that, that it's called. I think it's something super normal that we, when we really immerse ourselves in this green value meme, that we sense what is going on around us and that we have. Have a feeling for other people. And that when you are upset, this touches me and when you are angry, this make. This does something to me. Like this is something, I believe, super normal. If we cultivate this, this green value meme and green tries to create a more beautiful world. But green still doesn't have the tools to. To do so effectively. Because as depicted in the, in this beautiful image, green sits in circles. Green really likes to sit, sit in circles and debate and talk and share feelings. And green is not good at getting shit done because green is like easily triggered and we can only move forward when everybody is on the same page and we can like have a hell yes from everybody. And this maybe takes 10, 10 hours to discuss like small, a small thing. And that's why it's helplessly overwhelmed by the productivity and the fastness of Orange. That's why green is not very capable of doing what it aims to do. And out of this, out of this green value meme arose the next step around 1960, only around 60, 65 years ago. This is like super recent. I don't know like the percentage of width of a human hair compared to the 10 meters until this tree. It's like, it's like, it's like nothing. It's like nothing. It's like now it's like a second ago the next step in, in human evolution took place. And this is what the spiral describes as yellow. And yellow is, is fascinating because yellow is the first, the first stage where life is not about survival anymore. Up until green. Like all the human beings, like 99% of human beings on this planet are in survival mode. Of course most of them don't like run every day like away from some tigers. But if we are living in this orange paradigm and we try to earn as much money in order to have security, in order to have a like good pension down the road and so on, like we're still in survival mode because if we don't have enough money or if our reputation is bad or we get, we get laid off at work, like we have existential angst, still survival mode. Even green is still survival mode because if green is abandoned by, by his or her tribe and if people suddenly don't like me anymore and I cannot be in their circles and they, they don't want, they, they don't want to have anything to do with me anymore, then I'm like ah, like existential angst, like in, like in like an orange on a different level but still survival mode. And when we are in survival mode it's not beneficial for being, for just being and for putting our gifts to highest use. Because we are still like the whole time trying to, trying to make sure we are safe. But in yellow. This is what this spiral describes as Tier two. Before it was tier one survival mode. And then we, we transcend to tier two and this is called being mode. The first, the first human beings that are really human beings before human worryings. That are, that are just trying to make sure they survive. But human beings are very rare on this planet. Around a person, around 1%, maybe even less of the global population has access to this yellow perspective. That is really, that is, that is like really being. Because in yellow you are not, you are not concerned with your survival. You, you know, you know you will survive. And that's why for the first time in yellow, we can put our gifts really to our highest use. Because we are not guided by, by our ego. Before, before, in all of the stages, our ego wanted something in. In red we want to be powerful and we want to be the strongest and we want to be, we want to dominate everybody. And in orange we want to earn a. And we will, we want to have a nice car and a nice suit and a lot of money and whatever. And in green, we want to have a lot of friends and we want to be perceived by them as, as, as a beautiful human being and their best friend. And this is all ego driven. But now for the first time, like, we don't make decisions from the ego, but we, we make decisions from what is truly right for the collective. Yellow has this systemic, really like, systemic view of the world. I'm not optimizing for what I want to do or what I want to have, what I want to get, but I'm optimizing for what is right for the whole. Even though I maybe want to do this, I want to eat that, I want to do this step. I'm first checking in if it's the right thing for the whole. Like what are other people that are involved, what, which effect does it have on the environment and so on and so on. I'm checking in from all the angles and then I make informed decisions. And this is what's absolutely necessary in the future of humankind. And at the same time, it's so rare. Less than a percent of the global population is rooted in this yellow dollium. But it's so important because it's the first moment when we can really design solutions for our global issues that are going on before. We are not like green will manifest and meditate and share their feelings and whatever, but it will not provide any valuable solutions for, for the global issues that are going on. These, they can only be developed from, from yellow on. And that's why yellow is really like most people who have this, who have this yellow, I would say gravity center. That doesn't mean that you are a yellow person with all, all the, all the different stages. Like, but this gravity center, this Gravity pole. People who, who are there, they are oftentimes like avid readers. They like to learn, they like to immerse themselves in so many different fields. They learn here and they learn there and they are like, oh my God. I'm like, my curiosity, I could, I could learn like the whole day. And that's very important. That's very important because the interconnectedness of things that are going on on our planet require this systemic approach. Before in green, it's just like, okay, how can we create the more beautiful world? Like the evil billionaires and the oil companies and the banks. We need to get rid of them and then everything will be beautiful. But of course this is super short sighted, this will not work because if we throw out the CEOs, there will be others that replace them and nothing will have changed. But yellow is able to see that from whole systems, like a bird's eye, big picture view. And the spiral continues. But we will stop here with our exploration of the different stages because as we already see, like yellow is super, super, super, super rare. So where are we right now? I perceive two big trends that are taking place on this planet right now. The first one is the landslide into orange. Billions of people, especially in the area where I'm located right now, Indonesia, China, India, billions of people rushing into this materialistic orange paradigm. In the past, they were like super modest rice field farmers and they ate their veggies every day and they lived a pretty minimalistic life. And they're blue, obedient, going to ceremonies, saying thank you, praying and so on, being, being responsible citizens. They're like, okay, fuck that. No, like, I want to have the TV and I want to have the nice car and I want to eat meat multiple times a day and I want to have this and I want to have that. And when I, when I turn on the TV or when I turn on my smartphone, I see what is going on in the US and in Europe and I want to have the same. Like, I want to have the same. Okay, let's, let's fucking go on. And this creates, as we already discovered, the tremendous burden for our planet because billions of people trading their minimalistic veggies and rice diet towards McDonald's and chicken nuggets, of course, is something that will challenge our biosphere tremendously. And they wanting to have the car and they wanting to live in the big city and so on. And they sell their, they sell the, they sell their, their lands here in the countryside in order to send their kids to university. Yeah, this is one of the big questions of our times. Will this planet that is already at like full capacity, Will this planet be able to sustain billions of people rushing into orange? But fortunately, there's a second trend that I'm perceiving right now. And this is something that's incredibly important for each and everyone listening in this circle because I think this speaks to us. This is our big opportunity. The second opportunity or the second trend that I'm perceiving right now is the rise from orange into green and yellow. People leaving this materialistic paradigm behind and moving into more conscious, more collaborative, more value oriented, more systemic, more holistic ways of living. And they are realizing, no, I don't want, I don't want this, like blind, blindly focused wealth chasing life. I don't want this anymore. I want meaning and I want depth. And this is something that's like even, especially in our circles, like, taking place more and more and more and more. And this rise into green and yellow that's taking place, that's still like from a percentage point, like very rare, but nevertheless still quite substantial. This rise into green and yellow is so important because these people, I call them the leaders of the world. These people, the leaders of the world are not the Rockefellers, not the, not the Bezos, not the Warren Buffetts, not the people making a lot of money. They're still caught in the orange, red race. Of course, they have the most financial wealth. But the leaders of the world are the people that ascended highest on the spiral that have the biggest perspective. And this is taking place in green and yellow and above. And it's their task to design systems in a way that enables the billions of people rushing into materialistic orange to do that in a way that is as quick as possible and causes as little destruction as possible and as smoothly as possible, transcend orange and rise into green too. So the big invitation for us is to make green and to make yellow cool. Because orange likes things that are cool. Like if something is cool, then orange is like all in. So I had recently I had a chat with the owners of the cafe where I'm at right now. It's a beautiful, like little bamboo glamping resort. And they're like growing their own food. They have a food forest and full focus on sustainability and so on. And they are saying, like, our, our, our number one focus here is to make the green the good thing for the planet, to make that cool. Because we know that the only way humanity as a species will continue if green will be attractive to people in orange, so that they transcend orange as fast as possible and move into green. Like if green, like the old version of green. That's why like in the 60s and in the 70s, like the hippies, they already, they already touched, touched on this like green paradigm. But they didn't succeed in bringing this to the mainstream because it was not cool. Like, everybody else was like, okay, they're like these sweaty, sweaty, sweaty hippies. They are not showering and they're like, they are doing weird things. It was not cool. But right now with these nice, like bamboo resorts, they are pretty cool. They are fucking fancy. Like, you look at them and you're like, oh my God. Wow. Nice. This inspires me. I want to go there. Even if you are not like full sustainability, like if that's not your daily, your daily bread, you're like, this is something cool. Maybe I will even prefer this over fancy, fancy Ritz Carlton hotel or whatever. And if green manages to do that, make the good thing cool, then I think we have a high chance of guiding all the people rushing into orange right now as smoothly and as fast as possible into green too, because it does something. Of course, if they stay for a vacation for a week in a nice bamboo resort like this, it has an effect on them. Compared to spending their vacation for a week in a like all inclusive hotel and drinking champagne all day. It makes a difference. It makes a huge difference. Like being in nature, maybe meditating for the first time or doing yoga or whatever has a tremendous effect. So it's our task as like coaches, as leaders, as visionaries, as pioneers to make the good thing cool and to make it, to make it to, to. To let like people who are not fully there yet. To make it like really, really seduceive to draw them in. And that's why I'm into like a couple of days ago, I. Was it yesterday even. Was it two days ago? I don't know, I don't remember. I think it could be yesterday I put out an Instagram story and I talked about like video quality and audio quality and of course like the content and the message is the most important thing, what you're putting out. But I'm super into optimizing the look and feel of what we are doing because I think only then it can travel far and wide. Because in orange it's like everything needs to look nice and everything needs to look neat and cool and ah. So. And if we want to attract like more and more people, we need to step up our game. Of course it's important that we, that we have our Beautiful message, and we are rooted in our values. Amazing. But if we now dress this message in a way that looks inviting, then can travel even more. And this is something that's, in my opinion, absolutely necessary in order to enable this transition on this planet that's going on right now. Because if green stays like the weird hippies, orange will not have something to aspire to, grow into, and then it will get stuck. And, yeah, we'll probably fuck up the whole thing. So these are two trends that I'm. That I'm observing right now. And now let's continue our exploration with the kind of technology that is emerging right now. Because technology that is emerging right now makes everything even more crazy. We learned that around 100,000 years ago with the emergence of the first Homo sapiens. We started our technological journey with stone tools and with fire and with language. And that was important. And right now, technology is like going through the roof, like, exploding the pace. I don't know if you already saw someone with an Apple Vision Pro or with a Meta Quest VR glass. I think it's pretty insane. It's pretty insane. Like, imagine somebody walking in a, or sitting in a beautiful forest and then having these goggles on in order to, in order to travel to a different world, when the current world is like, so nice and so beautiful and they can do all these things. But yeah, this is something that will expand. Like, it's unstoppable. The possibility to, like, put on some goggles and to live in the metaverse and to live in a completely different world. Like, in the beginning, it's watching a movie or having a, having a call with somebody, but later it will be like, okay, I live there for hours and I have like, my digital friends and I have my digital money and I have my digital reputation and whatever. And that's. It's scary. It's really, really scary. But it will take place. And it's even accelerated by what is called the Internet of things like the Internet. In the beginning it was just like smartphones and laptops, and then we got tablets and it was a dedicated device that you use in order to access the Internet. But the Internet will be, and already is in so many more devices. Like the Internet will be in your fridge, and your fridge will tell you, hey, you need to buy some more carrots. Because your Internet connected scale told me that you gained a couple of pounds. That's why. Here's a recipe, what you should eat for dinner. Things like these. Or your Internet connected belt will measure that you gained a couple of centimeters. Yeah, Internet. Internetification of our whole life. This will take place too. This is already taking place. That's not prediction. It's like current reality. It's still unfolding. It's still early in the process. But almost everything will be connected to the Internet. And this will lay the ground for what we perceive right now. Artificial intelligence, the merging of. Oh, no, that's the next point. Let's first, like, explore artificial intelligence a little bit. Like the. The emergence of a life form that is not us human beings and not any other animal, but like really something new, but not something. Not something organic, but something technical. That's new. We never had that before. We never had that before. Like the ability to talk to an entity that's in some kind of computer and get a recommendation for which movie you should watch or how you can design your website, or what is the. What is the best strategy to win more clients on social media or whatever? This is like, insane. It's like really, really insane. A couple of weeks ago, I watched a. I watched a video by. By OpenAI. They introduced their new text to video AI. It's called Sora. And with Sora, you can say, I want to have a video of cute, cute, cute polar bears playing in the snow while the sun is shining and birds are flying over them. You type this and then you get this video and it looks like being shot by a professional filmmaker. That's fucking insane. Like, the. The impact this will have on. On jobs, on businesses is. It's incredible. Like, in the future, you will probably don't need, like, a lot of freelancers and people doing all sorts of things to do your thing, to run your business, to maintain your life. You can just do that all by yourself. Like these images that I used for the. For the presentation, I sat down for like two hours when Leonel did his nap, and I said, like, okay, yeah, I want to have this, I want to have that. And it's like all the videos, all the photos are. Are AI generated. And of course they are not. Like, it's not perfect. It's really still really early in the stage. If you look like, closely onto the. Onto the fridge, like, the display is a little bit weird and so on, but we are, like, so early. This will get perfected to a point where you don't even realize that it's AI because it could be a photo taken by a human being. And that's scary. And even more scary is like the merging, the merging of the organic and the artificial. Elon Musk founded a Company that's called Neuralink. And Neuralink produces chips that they will implant into people's brains. And they are doing their first trials right now with people that couldn't walk for years, probably 10 years, 20 years because they had a car accident and they couldn't walk. It was just like sitting in a wheelchair. And then they implanted these chips and disconnected like, I don't know how it works. They connected their brains to their limbs and doing some kind of magic and then they could walk again, which is immensely powerful. And at the same time, of course, it's not hard to imagine the ways this can get exploited. Like if company, if a private company puts a chip in your brain, I don't know what they can do with all the data they get. If they can just like turn you off, I don't know. Could be, yeah. Insane. And of course the future will be characterized by robots doing human tasks. Like the warehouse at Ikea where a couple of years ago, like human beings carried all the boxes and put them there. This will not be done in the future by human beings. This will be done by robots. And in the beginning, of course, it's used for simple manual tasks, but it will spread to even more complex tasks more sooner than later. And the Internet of things, the Internetification of everything will lead to more and more cameras being everywhere. And be it large corporations or governments having the opportunity to track us, to track our every move and to see where we are and to see what we are doing. And that's scary too, I think, and I think I don't need to explain why. So this massive rise in technology combined with the reaching of our planetary boundaries, we are already at an ecological footprint of 1.75 collectively, that, that means that the whole, the, all the, all the natural resources humanity consumes within a given year would need right now to sustain this 1.75 Earths. So almost two Earths are necessary to feed like one Earth of human beings. And of course this is made possible through the use of oil, coal, natural gas, trees, whatever, that we're growing for like thousands or millions of years. And they are getting less and less and less and less and less. So this either drastically needs to change or it will crash. Because Earth is just like, not, this is not even something in the future. Earth right now is not enough to feed how we are living right now. It's not enough. We are living on, on like overdraft. Like 1.75 of Earth's would be necessary to feed us even now. And this trend is Accelerating. So we need to, we need to turn this whole, like, whole. It's not even, it's not even like a little change that needs to take place. It's like the whole, the whole trajectory, the whole path of humanity needs to change. And this is what, what takes place. From orange to green and yellow and above. In the early 1970s, for the first time, there was this turning point of consumption versus biocapacity. That means like in the early 70s, for the first time, humanity consumed more within a given year than the, than the planet could regenerate. Before 1970, it was like nature could regenerate more than humanity was consuming. But since 1970, that's like. And that's a trend that's accelerating more and more because we are consuming more and more. And at the same time, nature is decreasing. And that's why the capacity to regenerate, all of that is decreasing too. So I think this pretty nicely sums up where we are right now. And before we dive into the question of what does it mean for us and for the future and how can we set ourselves, our communities, our companies, our families, like, how can we set ourselves up in order to thrive in the future? I want to take a quick moment to take a breath and to let everything sink in that we already heard. And I want to invite you to check in with yourself how you are feeling right now. Maybe you can even take a moment to close your eyes and contemplate how does it make you feel? We just explored how are you with all that? What comes up? How is that for you? You want to share, you're highly invited to do so. You can raise your hand or you can throw an emoji of your choice in the chat. If you want to share something and you want to unmute yourself, or you can share in the chat, or you're just checking for yourself, take a moment to see how you are with all of that that was taking place before us and that is taking place in our lifetimes. And then I says a kind of scariness and like apathy and relate to that. Let's take one moment to let that sink in even deeper because it's starting to rain right now and I need to move like all the technical stuff under the roof. I'll be back in a minute. Erica said, feels frustrating and helpless too. I think this pretty nicely describes my process over the past, I would say year or one and a half. The more I opened myself up for what's going on, I went through a deep emotional journey of like, before, there Was this super optimistic Robert that always was like, okay, let's change the world. Let's do something. And then. And this was a little naive because I didn't, I didn't, I didn't. I didn't look at everything. I was just like, okay, like, let's go. But if you were like, okay, you look at everything, then feelings of overwhelm, feelings of sadness, feelings of anger, feelings of grief are probably inevitable. If we connect, connected a little bit with the, with the green paradigm, with the green value mean, of course, if we are still before, before in the orange, orange, red rays, then it's probably easier to ignore everything that's going on and to like, okay, yeah, I don't know. But let's focus on, on revenue. Let's focus on growing, growing the gdp, let's focus on earning more money. And I don't know about the natural world. Everything will, I don't know, whatever, I will just stay in my lane. But this is something that's not possible for us. It's not. We are not able. We're not able to do that anymore. So this existential sadness that arises when we look at everything and when we allow ourselves to sink deeper into the embodiment of this, of this green val. Of these green values, that's pretty tough. And at the same time, it's. It can liberate us. It can really liberate us because there's one thing, there's one thing that would neatly describe my process of the past year or year and a half. And it's characterized by a deeper sense of trust that exactly the right things will happen. And this came with fully surrendering to the greater forces. Because the part inside ourselves that feels this, this suffering, this overwhelm, the sadness, and so on and so on, that's still this part that tries to project what happened in the past into the future. But as we learned through our exploration through the spiral, this is not what takes place. Like, each step of the spiral, something completely new emerges. Everybody that was living 50,000 years ago in these purple tribes in peace, love and harmony with the earth, wouldn't have expected that something like red, like individualistic, would come up where people were like, okay, fuck the tribe. I want to lead the tribe and I want to be the overlord and I want to rule them all. Nobody would have expected that, but it happened. And this complete, like, paradigm shift took place multiple times in the history of humanity. Nobody, like, in blue, everybody was still, like, here on the rice fields and doing their thing and growing their Own food and living a pretty modest life and going to ceremony every day and praying. And like, this was, this was completely normal. Nobody would have expected something like AI and capitalism and so on. This totally unexpected. Nobody would have expected that because it was so different to what was taking place before. And right now we are at a moment in time where the next paradigm shift will take place that cannot not take place because the expansion of consciousness, the expansion of the spiral, is inevitable. And realizing that what will take place in the future will not be a linear extension of the past, but it will be something like completely new. Completely, like really, like completely new. And seeing in history that this has happened multiple times already gifted me with this feeling of like, every time I'm caught and overwhelmed and suffering and sadness and so on, I'm still looking at the future through the lens of the past and of the present. But then I remind myself of that the speed of change that we witnessed in the past 50, 100, 150 years, like 150 years ago, we are still like caught in, in, in, in blue and orange and like really, really like low scale, not a lot of cities and so on. And now like everything different. How could, how could the next phase of the expansion of conf. Consciousness manifest in the next 50 years when the speed is just accelerating, but not accelerating the same thing that was in the past, but something completely different. And this evokes a feeling of curiosity in myself and a feeling of, huh, I have no fucking clue. And at the same time, I can anticipate a little bit in which direction it will, it will move because I have knowledge of the spiral and I know that after materialistic orange, like communitarian green, is the next step because it took place in so many beings already and myself, including, like 10 years ago, it was like I wasn't as orange. Like 11 years ago when I started my first business, like, the driver was this materialistic orange. I want to be free. I want to do my thing, I want to travel the world, I want to be a digital nomad, I want to passive income and so on. And now this is not what motivates me anymore. And as a result, my life has completely changed. And imagining this on a global scale and realizing that I can contribute to this shift, that makes me super excited. And at the same time, going through all this sadness and grief and overwhelmed over the past year and year and a half was incredibly important because that's the first, the natural first reaction when we really look at something. But that's what I mean with Purification. This process purified me deeply and I let, I let go of this. I'm going to go into the world, I save the world, I change the world. I do like this really like can do attitude and shift it to a much more humble approach of let me play my part in this bigger orchestra called life called evolution. Let me play my part and then let's see where this might lead. And with a lot of curiosity approaching this journey. And if I don't think that this will happen, but maybe it will happen, that we will go extinct, that there's a rush into orange of billions of people will put so much burden on the biosphere that climate change and like all the things that are going on right now will accelerate faster and faster and faster and humanity will go extinct. Or just like billions of people will die because we debase our own habitat. We like the place that we are living at, we kill that because there will not be enough green in order to create clean air and so on. Let's say this will happen, then that's the right thing. And then another more evolved life form some billions of years down the road will settle on this planet and they will do things probably different. I don't know that. But this is, this is the attitude that is necessary for these times. First, this, wow, this is taking place right now and I get to play a part in that. Oh my God. Second, okay, let me play my part. Let me play my part without trying to change everything and neither resigning and like, okay, okay, I will just chill and do Netflix all day because like the world is fucked. No, let me play my part. Let me, let me contribute my gifts. And with this willingness and with this humility going forward into our lives and being open and curious where all this might lead. We don't know. We don't know. Yeah, let's have a look how these changes that we are living through right now, how these changes will impact our, our daily lives and the different aspects of life as we know it, and how we might set ourselves and our loved ones and our businesses and so on up for a thriving future. Let's explore different facets like work, money, community, education and so on and so on. I prepared a couple of, a couple of areas of life and try to translate what is going on the macro scale onto these micro levels. And within that I want to include some reflections for us to check in where we are in our alignment process. With the shift that's going on, are we fighting it or are we inviting it? And if we're fighting it we will probably have a pretty miserable future. If we are inviting it and if we are aligning with what is taking place, we'll probably have a beautiful future. The first area that I want to explore a little deeper is the area of work. Due to the invention of the Internet in 1989 by Tim Bernard's Lee, the Internet is only 35 years old. The Internet is one year older than me. I was born in 1990. The year before me, the Internet was born and is probably the biggest driver of the changes that we are seeing right now. Why did this huge wave of urbanization take place where people moving into the cities? Because the cities were the place where they could get work. But through the Internet and through remote work, this need is gone. Because I can live on a fraction of the budget in a beautiful natural setting like this and work there. Compared to paying much more money and having bad air quality and noise and craziness around me in a city, okay, that's a no brainer. So in the past we saw a huge process of people moving into the cities and now we will see a process of people moving into rural areas, into nature again. Because it's possible they can just work on their laptop whatever they are doing if they are entrepreneur or web designer or customer service agent or whatever they are doing. Like so many of the jobs nowadays only require Internet connection and companies more and more get accustomed to remote work. So people will move away from cities more and more, especially if they tap into the green value paradigm. They are like, okay, no, no, I don't want to sit in overcrowded subways and see people that are stressed. I want to start my day with the morning yoga session by the river and then I open my laptop and I will get some work done. So yeah, that's a huge trend that I see right now. And because of the technological rise and because of things like AI and robots, it's mandatory for us that our work becomes something that can be automated and something that we would do regardless of the money. Because I totally see the possibility that more and more jobs will be replaced by robots and by AI and we will have some form of universal basic income and we will get, I don't know, a check each, each month from the government and we don't have to work for that. It's like, okay, here's a thousand five hundred bucks. You can pay your rent, you can pay your food and yeah, now do something what you want and there won't be a lot of jobs anymore. I can totally see a Future like that. And if that's the case, like our basic expenses will be covered and we have the whole day to fill. You better have something that really fulfills you, otherwise your day will be pretty miserable. Because right now our job gives us meaning. And even if it's not something that excites us, it just like fills the day and it keeps us busy. But if this falls away, then what are you going to do with the whole day? So I want to invite in something that I would call sacred work. What is something that you can do that is an expression of your unique gifts that feels almost sacred, that feels so special to you, that feels so beautiful to you that you cannot not do it. It's like Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel like this incredible beautiful piece of art. Or Leonardo da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa like the most. Or Mozart doing his symphonies like the most incredible artists of the history of our planet. They didn't, they, they didn't see work as work as something to earn a living. Of course they probably got some money for that. But that's maybe something that will fall away in the future. So if we don't need to earn money with it, what do we do? Of course, maybe in the beginning we will just like travel and, and read books and entertain ourselves and spend time with family members and catch up of all, catch up of sleep and certain necessary things that we neglected in the past. But at a certain point we want to contribute, we want to do something, we want to put value out there. And that's the moment when we are invited to follow our sacred work. And that's a check in. I want to invite you check in what we, what you are currently doing. No matter if you run your own business, if you're starting a business, if you're an employee of a big company, if you founded a non profit, if you are, whatever you're doing, if you're a student, whatever you're doing right now, take a moment and check in with what you're. Check in with yourself and ask yourself the question if I would get paid basic, basic coverage of all my essential needs and I don't need to work for money, would I continue to do what I'm currently doing or would I change things? And chances are high that if you would change things, you should do these changes even now and not wait. Because the more we align ourselves with our sacred work, the more we wake up with this feeling of I cannot not do this work because it's so meaningful and it's so valuable and like it's my. My heart and my soul is in it. Ah, that's crucial for a life well lived in the future and even in the here and now. It gives us profound sense of purpose as an antidote to all the sadness and overwhelm and craziness that's going on in the world. If you're waking up in the morning and you're like, this is what I'm. This is what my unique part to contribute. This is my unique backpack to carry. But it doesn't feel like something, feels like a burden. It feels like I cannot not do anything else. I'm having a blast. It's so. Oh, yeah. This is what sacred work is. Check in with yourself. How far or how close are you to following your sacred work? And that doesn't. That is not contingent on people, like, on you being famous and people saying you are painting the most amazing, amazing paintings like Michelangelo, whatever. It's just like your internal feeling if you're. Whatever you're doing, if you're working in a kindergarten and like working with these children, it's like you. It's so meaningful to you. And you, when you leave your job in the afternoon, you're like, fulfilled to your deepest core. It's like, oh, yeah, perfect. Congratulations. You're doing everything right. So take a moment to check in with yourself where you are on this scale of sacred work or work for money, that when someone would hand you a check and you don't need to continue to do that, you would immediately abandon the shit that you're doing right now because the need for money falls away. Take a moment to check in with yourself and let's bring our thoughts we are writing down slowly to an end. That's a question I want to invite you to sit with for the next days or even weeks and ponder am I really following my sacred work, or do I just keep myself busy with earning money and satisfying clients and so on or something in between? And that's something even like, I. I'm an entrepreneur since 11 years. I always did what, like, I wanted to do. And still when I look back onto my past 11 years, there were like lots of moments where I again fell back into doing work for work's sake, like, to earn money to. Because you have a team, you have bills to pay, you have salaries to pay, you have clients and so on. And it's like actually only 70% of the. Of expressing my sacred work. And that's why it felt a little draining. If we are really following 100% what truly is in highest alignment with ourselves. Work doesn't feel like work. It will give us a profound sense of meaning. Meaning actually will be like money is the currency of today, meaning will be the currency of tomorrow. Like right now, everybody, everything is optimizing for money and because it's the most important resource. But if you don't need to, if you don't need to work because like robots and AI are doing like everything from lawn mowing to sitting at the cashier in the supermarket, whatever, then like, what's the point of making money? Because it's taken care of. But what people really will need then is meaning. Because it's so easy if you, if you get your basic, basic costs covered every month. It's so easy to fall into this feeling of everything is so pointless. There's nothing I need to do, I can just, just be. But yeah, and then I distract myself with all sorts of consumption and so on. Because this meaning is not present. The deepest meaning can give us only what is in highest alignment with ourselves. What is our sacred work can give us the deepest meaning. And then work and private life and everything blends like raising our children is some kind of work, is an important work and can feel totally sacred to us. And at the same time, being there for, for other people or writing books or making music or whatever, whatever it is that is in our highest alignment, we need to connect to that more because we will need a lot of meaning to go through this transition phase. And the beautiful is, the beautiful thing is, even now in the current paradigm where money is very important, people pay for products and services that are created with such love and such dedication, a lot more than they will pay for products and services that are there, that are like, yeah, created by somebody who does his job. So even in the current paradigm, it's a good strategy to follow your sacred work because you will create so much more value for your clients, so much more value for your customers. You will create so many, so much better products than if you're doing a job. And this is like subtle. This is like really, really subtle. Of course some people are like, they hate their job. They hate their job every day. And then it's easy and. But it's really subtle. Like for me it's, it's really not. It's not only about what I do, it's how I do things. The formats. Am I doing videos, am I doing workshops, am I doing one on one coaching, am I doing retreats, am I writing books? And like this. This whole setup needs to click perfectly in Order for, for it to, for me to feel like sacred work. If it's just like a little tiny percentage off, then it feels more like, I don't know. Yeah, okay, I get paid good. But no, somehow now, yeah, that's a constant exploration that we are on, and that's a seed that I want to plant for your next days and weeks and months, expanding the amount of sacred work that you're doing. All right, if we already touched on money, let's continue there. We perceive that on a daily basis, our currencies are failing. Governments are printing more and more and more and more. Inflation is on the rise. The money is getting more and more worthless, and a lot of people are turning towards cryptocurrencies, investing in Bitcoin and all sorts of other stuff. The responses of the governments are CBDCs, Central Bank Digital currencies. Governments are realizing, okay, the printed paper money is losing value more and more. Maybe we will make everything digital and people will not have an account at their bank. They will just have an account with the government and there they have their money. And then the government will send them their 2k every month to pay for the base expenses. But, and that's the reason why these CBDCs are incredibly scary, then the government can't control what you can do with it. There are scenarios thinkable, like if you didn't behave well, if you spoke bad about the government on social media, they could freeze some of your money. Or they can say, you cannot move. Like, you can, you can, you can use this money to buy groceries at the supermarket next door, but you cannot use this money to buy a flight ticket to Bali. Things like these that are like, now totally unthinkable because we're like, it's my money on my bank. I can do with it whatever I, I, I wish to is something that is definitely a possibility that this is not. This opportunity is not accessible in the future anymore if the governments are able to implement such central bank digital currencies. And I don't know how this will play out, but what I do know is that the only sensible thing to do with money right now is to invest intangible things that have innate value. And for me, these are two things. The first are relationships, and the second is land. It's not a coincidence that so many billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, they are buying like hectares of, hectares of hectares of land because they know that this is something that will forever have value on land. You can live and you can grow food and you can Will affect you. You can do whatever you want. Like land, like is limited on this planet and it's incredibly valuable. And if I would have money to invest, which is not the case right now, if I would have money to invest, I wouldn't think about like anything else than land. Because no matter what is going on on this planet, land will forever have value. And land is the, the real form of passive income. Why are we, we investing in, in, in crypto and all sorts of other like speculative, speculative investment things? Because we hope to get a positive return for our investment. We hope to put a thousand bucks in and then a year later it will be 2,000. Nice. And this is something that can take place, sure. And this is something that cannot take place. But a 100% guaranteed profit from your investment you will only get by investing in land and grow food, fruit trees, permaculture, gardens. Like this is the, the only real passive income you get. Like if you have an apple tree there, unless you cut it. This apple tree for the rest of your life and for the rest of your children's life and for the rest of your grandchildren's life, every year will give you passive income in the form of apples. The same is true for oranges and cucumbers and durians and coconuts and bananas and papayas and tomatoes and everything else. It's so insane that we cut trees in order to turn them into money because we hope that the money will yield a return in the future. While this tree would have a 100% if we don't cut it, chance of yielding a reward in the year and now into the indefinite future. That's crazy. That's really, really crazy. And if we grow our foods by ourselves and it's local, of course, it's incredibly beneficial for our bodies. Even if we live in the city. Even if I would like, if, if I would live, still live in Berlin in Germany capital, big city life. I would invest my money in a little tiny patch like of, of of of nature. And I would build a garden there in order to grow food for myself and maybe to sell a little bit or to give to friends or whatever. That's the best investment that you can make that has a 100% guaranteed return. You don't need to do anything for it besides making sure that everything is going, going well. Maybe from time to time there's too much sun, a little bit water and so on. Not like no rocket science, just a little bit, a little bit of maintenance and you will get a. You get passive income for the Rest of your life. That's like for me personally, the best investment that you can make. And it teaches you so much, really connecting with the land, connecting with Gaia teaches you so, so much. And it gives you a profound sense of safety. Like we are only so money addicted because we, we attach money to our need for safety. But imagine if you would have your, your own piece of land. It doesn't need to be super big and you have like trees and maybe if you, if you like to eat meat and eggs and so on, you have a couple of chickens or whatever. And like you really sense that this can sustain me even if I would have no money, I just need a little, little hut and like my food is there and I can survive even if I don't have no or little money. And this provides a sense of safety, a sense of security that money cannot give us because money can be wiped out every single day. Can at any time. The government could say, like, okay, no, we are not taking euros, US Dollars, whatever anymore. Boom, it's worthless. Can happen at any time. But that cannot happen with, with land. So for all the craziness that is about to take place on this planet, the biggest invest the best investment that you can make and the like, the best strategy for safety is to buy land and to grow your own food. Period. And of course, if we connect that with a sense of community, that's the second, second most important investment that we can make in relationships. And of course things get so much nicer. I think people will be miserable in the new world that's emerging if they are still playing by the rules of the old, like competition. Imagine if you're living in a green yellow system and you're still playing by orange rules. You will absolutely be miserable because there's no need for chasing and for competing anymore. Like meaning in the new world will become, will come from sharing your gifts, following your sacred work, and from deeply connecting with other people that you feel alignment with. Yeah, we will thrive if we center our life around community. That's it. And again, I want to invite you to check in with yourself how much community is in your life right now. Take a couple of moments just for yourself. If you want to write something down, please do so. You just contemplate. If you just want to contemplate for yourself equally, fine. You check in your daily life, how much community do you really feel? And I don't mean like your Facebook friends or your Instagram followers, like people you, you can really like call. No matter what's going on in Your life, something that's super exciting or super overwhelming and that are on the same page with you and that you feel a strong, strong connection with. If things will get crazy, if shit is hitting fan, these are the people you will and you will walk side by side into the new earth. Do a little check in how much of that as present in your life right now. Maybe you even want to think of certain people with whom you want to intensify the connection. Maybe some other people are coming into your mind that don't feel like community, but that you are somehow spending a lot of time with. Do a little status quo analysis of the presence of community in your life right now. And what is the fabric of community? It's an attitude of giving and it's not an attitude of taking. The attitude of taking is rooted in the, and the values of the, of the old paradigm. The new paradigm will be rooted in the value of giving. Because we are full, because we are thriving, we are living in abundance. We are at full capacity and there's so much overflow that wants to be given. I want to invite you to, I will participate in this little exercise too. I want to invite you to take three minutes and think of one person that maybe during your contemplation about the state of community in your life right now arose a person that is that you really, really like, that you really, really like and that you maybe have. Didn't have like so much connection with lately, did you? With with whom you didn't share so much space and you're like, oh, I want, I wish I would reconnect more with this person. Think of one person that you want to invite in closer into your, to your sphere of community and make them a little gift. This can be something verbal, this can be something physical. This can be an invitation. This can be whatever. Whatever would bring value to this person. Put a sense of smile on their lips. Take three minutes. Don't overthink. Take the first person that comes to your mind that you want to reconnect more and make them a little gift. It can be as simple as sending a WhatsApp voice message or ordering some flowers or whatever. Whatever. It can be something big, it can be something small. It doesn't matter. It's about the intention. Making a gift to somebody we love. One, two, three, go. In three minutes we will meet again here, right? Let's slowly end our gift giving process. You probably, if you have observed me during this exercise, you probably have seen that I was smiling the whole time. Because the funny thing is that the person I thought of that I want to reconnect again with and that I want to make a gift. I had a telegram message from her, even though we didn't communicate it for quite a while. Sometimes the person you want to reconnect with is the person that wants to reconnect with YouTube. And that's the, that's the magic. That's the magic of the, of the gift. Like, it just feels so damn good. It feels so damn good. It feels so much better than taking. Yeah. Whatever you were doing for the past couple of minutes slowly come to an end. And feel invited to continue after our workshop. Send more gifts, connect with people, build relationships, invest time, love, creativity, and what is truly meaningful for us. Oh, that's magical. All right, let's move forward. In the age of AI, education will be something else than we, we went through. And it's so, so funny. At the, at the root of the word, education is a verb. To educe, it's a, it's a, it's a verb almost nobody is using anymore. To educe. What does it mean? It means to draw out something to inspire to come out. This is, this is at the, at the, at the core of education. At the core of learning should be a process where another person, a teacher, a facilitator, or a resource, like a book or a video draws something out of you that was not at the surface before, but that comes to light now. This is at the essence of education and not the fucked up system that we have right now where it's the opposite. Teachers trying to stuff, stuff knowledge or facts down the throat of students and pupils. That's the opposite of what education is intended to be. To educe means to draw something out. So we will see a huge paradigm shift in this sphere too. Imagine when we will no longer need a teacher standing in front of the class to bring knowledge to the pupil, but instead through artificial intelligence. Every single child has the combined knowledge of all the wisest people of the history of this planet at their disposal. Like here or the glass, or however this will manifest in the future. And not only the whole wisdom combined of all these great beings. It had like each and every child too has through artificial intelligence. This wisdom perfectly catered to them in a way that perfectly matches their own talents, gifts, strengths and weaknesses. It's not only that you can learn from Einstein and da Vinci, you can learn from a version of Einstein and da Vinci that perfectly knows you and, and knows how to transport this knowledge and to draw it out from you in A way that perfectly matches with you. And that's probably something completely different than for your brother or for your sister. And that's insane. We have the possibility to get personalized education, high level tutoring that in the past was only accessible for like really, really, really wealthy families that will be very soon accessible for each and every child. So Leonel, my son, he just turned two. He will pretty likely not go to university and probably very likely not go to school as we know it right now. Because this is a concept that has no reason for existence in the future. And of course the old systems, they are crumbling slowly. And that's why it's so essential to align ourselves with what will emerge afterwards, even now. That was one of the reasons why we left Germany behind. Because I cannot, I cannot put my son into this current education, AKA not education system. It's not possible for me. I cannot do it. And that's why we, we left Germany. And I'm able to provide education to educe out of him, like, oh, it's really in alignment with him. And how this will unfold, I don't know. I see artificial intelligence as a crazy factor, but there will be other components too, of course, like being outdoors, being in nature, like learning like really how to physically navigate this world, how to grow your own food, how to build a house, how to, how to make your own clothes, like really these basic, how to make fire, like these basic things that in our modern world even most adults are not capable of anymore. I think they are essential education for children. And yeah, I think that the current governments, they will take probably a while to adjust to that. And that's why we unsubscribe from Germany. And I see that as the only sensible thing if I want my child to not get dumber each and every day in the current system, because this is what happens. There's a recent NASA study and it found out that at birth almost every single child age 2 to 5, not only at birth, like little child age 2 to 5, almost every single one of them was classified as a genius. And then at age like 12, 13, after they went through 5, 6, 7 years of formal education, only a fraction of them were still classified as the genius. Most of them lost this scorch. And like this is a joke, the, the role of our education system should be exactly to, to, to do the opposite, but it's not doing that. And this will change in the future. And it's important to align ourselves and align our children with them. And of course everything that I said is not only true for children, it's true for adults too. Like everything that we are doing in the coaching industry, of course things will shift dramatically. Like if there is an AI that knows you perfectly, like, where is the value of a coach that doesn't know you perfectly? That's a big question that we can, that we, that we need to answer. And of course the value is like in empathy. The value is in a hug. The value is in looking into each other's eyes, which is not possible within artificial intelligence. So that's why even our roles as teachers, as facilitators, as coaches, they will transform. They will not in the future, not rely on bringing some kind of information across or teaching whatever it will be in human to human contact, because this is something that cannot be replaced by any AI or robot or whatever. The next big topic is the topic of healthcare, which currently is more sick care than healthcare. If you. It's been quite a while since I for the last time sat in a doctor's office in a waiting room. But every time I did that, I was like, oh, if I wouldn't be sick by the time I sat there, I would be sick now. Like, our whole healthcare system is fucked. Like, it's an apparatus of the current stage orange regime that tries to make as much money as possible. That's why children are birthed more and more via C section than via natural birth, because the hospital earns more money with that. Even if your body is totally fine, there's a lot, a lot of money in prescribing some kind of crazy treatment to you with pharmaceuticals or with operations or whatever. And that's why I personally don't have any health insurance. That's something. Again, crazy. That's, that's, that was one of the freedoms that came with unsubscribing from Germany. That's not, it's, it's, it's illegal. It's illegal to not have any health insurance. It's crazy like that you don't, as a citizen, as an adult, that you don't have the choice to say, like, I want to care for my health by myself. I don't want to pay a couple of hundred of hundreds of bucks each month in order to get some insurance that I maybe don't need or don't even want to use. It's crazy that this is not an option. I decided against because I believe that the best health insurance I can get is eating healthy, moving my body, doing the things I love, being with the people I love being outdoors, being in Nature. Developing my spiritual, spiritual capacities, developing my physical capacities. I believe that's the best health insurance I can get. And I like to invest my money there and not in a system that doesn't even care about me and my health, that cares, just cares about money. And you can make the most money with people who are neither super sick and die. That's. You cannot make a lot of money and you can, you cannot make money with people who are super healthy, but you can make a lot of money with people who are in between. Like a little back and forth and here and there and there, and then they get a little bit better and then it gets worse and then there's another treatment and you can earn a lot money with that. So that's the, that's the goal. Like, like how the system is set up. It's not designed to, to make you healthy. And that's something that's, that will change in the future too. The responsibility for our health will shift to us. And that's beautiful. Imagine there would be no doctors, no pills, no. No nothing. There would just be you. And you are fully responsible for your thriving, for your health. What kind of empowerment would come with that? Maybe even, maybe even like you, maybe even the feeling of being afraid. Even for me, it's like crazy. I shifted my, my diet to vegan and raw vegan like 13 years ago. And I really like, I'm really like far from the standard narrative of, of, of the, of the low, the whole money with that. So that's the, that's the goal. Like, like how the system is set up. It's not designed to, to make you healthy. And that's something that's. That will change in the future too. The responsibility for our health will shift to us. And that's beautiful. Imagine there would be no doctors, no pills, no, no nothing. There would be like healthcare system. And even for me, it felt a little frightening to cancel the health insurance. This feeling of what if something happens to me. It felt really frightening. And it's crazy how deeply ingrained these narratives are in, in ourselves. That's why I have a lot of empathy with, with people, with people who, who, who, who are scared by, by such a step. The same is true for the education system. Like it's crazy. It's really, really crazy. But with that comes a huge liberation. Just be you and you are fully responsible for your thriving, for your health, of knowing to be responsible for yourself. There's a beautiful story of what kind of empowerment would come with that. Maybe even, maybe even like Maybe even of the fire department in a small village in the, in the US it was snowing a lot. And the fire department they little feeling of being afraid. Even for me it's like crazy. I shifted my, my diet to vegan and raw vegan like 13 years ago. And I really like, I'm really like far from the standard narrative of, of, of the, of the low. The whole. They couldn't, they couldn't work because it was like super snowing. And then the mayor got onto on TV and said like okay, please be really careful for each and every single fire you will cause when it's burning at your house. There will not be anybody to help you. You will need to take care of every fire by yourself. And the fires in this village over the upcoming days declined by 90% like healthcare system. And even for me it felt a little frightening to cancel the health insurance. This feeling of what if something happened. And I don't think that the majority of fires were caused on purpose. The majority of fires are caused because you know, like okay, if some, some, somebody, some something goes wrong, like there will be somebody to help me. This to me it felt really frightening and it's crazy how deep. But if that falls away, you step up because you're fully self responsible and for your health you can only be self responsible. Like it's an illusion that some doly ingrained these narratives are in, in ourselves. That's why I have a lot of empathy with, with people, with people who, who, who, who are scared by, by such a step. The same is true for the education system. Like it's crazy. It's really, really crazy. But with that comes a huge liberation. There's will savior or whatever. But to really feel that I'm responsible for my health, like really just myself, I am responsible, not anybody else. That's a valuable, that's really, really valuable development. It will probably challenge us a little bit, but it sets us free, all right. Of knowing to be responsible for yourself. There's a beautiful story of the fire department in a small village in the US it was snowing a lot. And the fire department, they uh, let's bring all of the all that into practice. What do we need to cultivate in ourselves in order to thrive in the upcoming times? First thing that's really obvious for me is to lean more towards a physical life. We developed living circumstances that are making us sick, sicker and sicker. Like sitting is the new smoking. They couldn't, they couldn't work because it was like super snowing. And then the mayor got onto TV and said like, okay, please be really careful for each and every single fire you will cause when it's burning at your house. There will not be anybody to help you. But really developing the physical strength, the capabilities of our bodies again. And I don't mean going into the gym for an hour. It means living a lifestyle where your body's actually needed, not go on an app and audio. You will need to take care of every fire by yourself. And the fires in this village over the upcoming days declined by 90%. Your dinner, but really work in the garden, plant something. And I don't think that the majority of fires were caused on purpose. The majority of fires are grow something, harvest something, cook it, cut it, prepare it, cost. Because you know, like, okay, if some, some, somebody, some something goes wrong, like there will be somebody to help me clean the dishes afterwards. Really like living in, living a physical life, we don't need any, any, any. We don't need to lift any weights that don't need lifting. Just like for the purpose of working out. If we would align our living circumstances more with the use of our physical. But if that falls away, you step up because you're fully self responsible and for your health, you can only be self responsible. Like it's an illusion that some doctors will save you or whatever. But to really feel that I'm responsible for my health, like new capacities. Yeah, it's crazy since I, since I changed the way I eat again. Like I'm experimenting with, with nutrition for the past 14, 15 years. But when I, when I, when I did really just myself, I am responsible, not anybody else. The huge shift in the past weeks again of eating really early. Like I started this workshop at 2pm here in Bali. And before the workshop, that's a valuable, that's really, really valuable development. It will probably challenge us a little bit, but it sets us free. I had my dinner, so my dinner was at around 1pm which probably sounds crazy, but I will not eat after the workshop until I go to bed. So all my digestion will be finished. All right, Finished at around noon. Or I slowly transitioned into this direction before it was like, let's bring all of that into practice. What do we need? Early evening, then it was afternoon. And the more time passed, the earlier it got. But it's crazy. Even myself as a projector in human design to cultivate on ourselves in order to thrive in the upcoming times. First thing that's really obvious for me is to lean more towards a physical life which needs rest and which needs Me time and which needs like who, who doesn't have like full physical life life force power like the whole day even I I, I go to bed with more energy than I wake up with. And of course doing the things that you love plays a part in that. But the the role that digestion plays I we developed living circumstances that are making us sick, sicker and sicker. Like sitting is the new smoking. But really developing the physical strength. I was really surprised by that to see when I eat more and more lightly. I journeyed into veganism 14 years ago and then I transitioned into raw vegan not eating anything cooked. And then I and transition more and more into like eating mostly mono meals like for the capabilities of our bodies again. And I don't mean going into the gym for an hour. It means living a lifestyle where your body's actually for breakfast only 11 of 1 kind of fruit only like papaya or only watermelon or whatever that plays a huge part. Actually needed not go on an app and order in my energy level and my invitation that I that I want to put out there is to first embrace more and more simplicity in the way we eat. And second don't eat so late these two your dinner but really work in the garden. Plant something. Two things leaning more towards simplicity. Less like fancy cooked meals with these and like so many different ingredients. Maybe let's have for dinner just, just just potatoes. Like really try like how does a potato or sweet potato or whatever you like. Like how does it taste? How does a tomato taste? How does an apple for breakfast taste? Like just this apple or pumpkin or whatever you like really lean more towards simplicity. And the second thing is don't eat so late. These two things will grow something, harvest something, cook it, cut it, prepare it, clean the dishes afterwards. Really like living in living a physical life. We don't need any, any, any we don't need to lift any weights that don't need lift your life force energy to a totally different level. And these are two things that we all have under control that are super easy. We can just do that of course like we are conditioned and there are cravings and so on and it's a process. I don't want to rush anything but leaning more towards just lifting just like for the purpose of working out. If we would align our living circumstances more with the use of our physical capacities. Yeah it's crazy. Sit direction gifts us with the energy we need in order to navigate this shift. And at the same time it brings our full physical capacities to to to Use because when I, when I eat more lightly, I'm more motivated to move like simple things I, I observed in myself like simple things. When I'm, when I'm walking somewhere, sometimes out of the, out of the blue, I don't like walk slowly. But then I, I jump a little bit. Since I, since I changed the way I eat again. Like I'm experimenting with, with nutrition for the past 14, 15 years. But when I, when I, when I did, or I walk a little bit faster or I do some like weird dance move or I turn around like things that children do all the time. When I, when I, when I observe like little children, like my little brother instead of six years older than me, when I was like 10 or whatever he was, he was four. He was dancing, jumping all the time. That's something that huge shift in the past weeks again of eating really early. Like I started this workshop at 2pm here in Bali. And before the workshop I had my dinner. So my dinner was at around 1pm which probably sounds crazy. Children always do. They don't walk in a straight line. They're like moving a lot. And somehow this is something that we as adults forgot. Where did we forget that? Because we don't have the energy for that. Like life is streamlined. Okay, my belly is full. I want to like the shortest, I want to, I want to reach my goal in the shortest, shortest distance. And then. But I will not eat after the workshop until I go to bed. So all my digestion will be fitting or jumping or turning around or whatever is not finished at around noon or I slowly transitioned into this direction before it was like appropriate. But that's something that can, can come back if we for example, early evening, then it was afternoon. And the more time passed, the earlier it got. But it's crazy. Even myself as a projector in human design, which needs rest and which needs me time and which needs like put less burden on our body through like so much digestion, so much energy, energy that needs to be used for digestion. And that's a beautiful feeling of like being lighter, being, being more enthusiastic because we are not like numbed down. In the past I ate like a late dinner at 8 or 9 with a dessert. And then I was like food coma. Like full doesn't have like full physical life, life force power. Like the whole day even I, I go to bed with more energy than I wake up with and full on, like passed out went to bed. And of course the majority of, of energy that was needed during the night was used for digestion so that's an invitation to check in with yourself again. Of course doing the things that you love plays a part in that. But the role that digestion plays, I was really surprised by that to see when I eat more and more lightly. How are you aligning your living conditions with living a physical life that gifts you with the life force that you need to navigate craziness and the beauty there will be? I journeyed into veganism 14 years ago and then I transitioned into raw vegan, not eating anything cooked. And then I transitioned more and more into like eating mostly mono meals like for rice in the upcoming times. Take a moment for yourself and check in. How do you feel during the day? Do you feel enthusiastic? Do you feel vital? Do you feel vibrant? Do you feel like energetic for breakfast? Only one. 1 of 1 kind of fruit? Only like papaya or only watermelon or bursting with energy? Or do you feel more like it's okay? Yeah, sometimes I feel nice, sometimes not so nice, but whatever. That plays a huge part. Overly enthusiastic? No, like having in my energy level and my invitation that I, that I want to put out so much energy that you can really barely sit down in a meditation because you're like, ah, to do something, I want to like move. And is that something that you know from your, from your day to day life that that is the, the normal state of enlightened human being there is true. First, embrace more and more simplicity in the way we eat. And second, don't eat so late. These two. Take a moment for yourself and check in. How do you feel about this part of your life? Connecting with your physical capabilities? Two things leaning more towards simplicity. Less like fancy cooked meals with these and like so many different ingredients. Maybe let's have for dinner just potatoes, like really try. How does a potato or sweet potato or whatever you like, how does it taste? How does a tomato taste? How does an apple for breakfast taste? Like just this apple or pumpkin or whatever you like. Really lean more towards simplicity. And the second thing is don't eat so light. These two things will lift your life force energy to a totally different level. And these are two things that we all have under control that are super easy. We can just do that. Of course, like we are conditioned and there are cravings and so on and it's a process. I don't want to rush anything. But leaning more towards this direction gifts us with the energy we need in order to navigate this shift. And at the same time it brings our full physical capacities to, to use. Because when I, when I Eat more lightly. I'm more motivated to move. Like, simple things. I, I observed in myself. Like, simple things. When I'm, when I'm walking somewhere, sometimes out of the, out of the blue, I don't like, walk slowly, but then I, I jump a little bit. All right, let's finish our contemplations. Or I walk a little bit faster, or I do some like, weird dance move, or I turn around. Like things that children do all the time. When I, When I, when I observe, like little children. Like my little brother, he's six years older than me. When I was like 10 or whatever he was, he was four, he was dancing, jumping all the time. That's something that children always do. They don't walk in a straight line. They're like moving a lot. And somehow this is something that we as adults forgot. Why did we forget that? Because we don't have the energy for that. Like, life is streamlined. Okay, my belly is full. I want to, like, the shortest. I want to, I want to reach my goal in the shortest, shortest distance. And dancing or jumping or turning around or whatever is, Is not appropriate. But that's something that can, can come back. If we, for example, and connect our physical capabilities with another important dimensions, with our spiritual dimension. I believe that with the, with the rise of technology, with the rise of air, put less burden on our body through, like so much digestion, so much I. It's one of our most important tasks to get to know ourselves better than the machine energy that needs to be used for digestion. Machines will get to know us. The machines will get to know us pretty well. Even now. That's a beautiful feeling of like, being lighter, being out. Like, it's insane. You go on YouTube and you watch a couple of videos being more enthusiastic because we are not like, numbed down. In the past, I ate like late dinner videos about a certain topic. And then everywhere you go on the Internet, you will see her at 8 or 9 with a dessert. And then I was like, oh, food coma. Like, full ads for products related to this, to this topic that you watched videos about. So the machines already know us pretty well. Of course, right now you need to watch a video first. And then the machine full on, like, passed out, went to bed. And of course the majority like. But in the future, it can anticipate. It can, it can, it can. Probability of, of energy that was needed during the night was used for digestion. Know where you will be heading. Oh, there might be a certain, certain hobby coming up or a certain kind of. So that's an invitation to, to check in with yourself again. How are you aligning your living conditions? And then it will, will show you like ads or videos or whatever content like even before you knew you know it. That's, that's something that will with living a physical life that gifts you very likely happen. And of course if these machines do with the life force that you need to navigate craziness and the beauty that will know us so well, they have a lot of power arise in the upcoming times. Take a moment for yourself and check in. How do you feel? And I don't want to live in a future where my life is dictated by the machine. During the day, do you feel enthusiastic? Do you feel vital? Do you feel vibrant? Do you feel like energetic? I just say okay, hey Siri or hey whatever Alexa. What is, what is going on today? What, bursting with energy? Or do you feel more like what should I do? Okay. And then she tells me, oh yeah, meet with this person and finish this work product project and take some time to read this book because you're interested in that and I'm just like following on all. It's okay. Yeah. Sometimes I feel nice, sometimes not so nice. But autopilot with the machine is telling me no, I don't want to do that. That's a scenario that plays out overly enthusiastic. No, like having quite, quite some films, so much energy that you can really barely sit down in a meditation because you're like, ah, I'm looking forward to a future where we use these devices, these technologies. Something I want to like move. And is that something that you know from your, from your day to day life? Geez. As a support. But the true knowing, the true truth comes out of, out of our beings. That is the normal state of an aligned human being and a tool to achieve that is made. Take a moment for yourself and check in. How do you feel about this part of your life connecting with your physical meditation? Meditation for me personally is the greatest enhancer of self awareness capabilities of getting to know myself deeper in a more intimate way. And that's why again, three and a half weeks ago I picked up my, my daily, daily 60 minute, that meditation habit. And it's so, so beautiful. I can tell you. Like before the workshop I just sat down for an hour in nature. And afterwards, after this hour I'm every time, there's not a single time that after the meditation I'm like okay, yeah well the hour is over. I didn't need that. Every single time it's like, oh yes, this was so good. This was so important. Sometimes it's difficult, sometimes it's challenging, be it like physically or mentally or emotionally or things are coming up. But every time, every single time I'm like, this was so important. And I feel it's, it's such a shortcut to do more of the things that are really in alignment with myself and to less of the things that are not in alignment with myself. I still to this day make a lot of wrong decisions. So many times I look back and I'm like, what did they do there? Why did I do this? That was, no, that was not aligned with myself. And I'm saying that as somebody who, like more than half of his life, dives into the intricacies of myself and reads all sorts of books and coachings and programs and like this consciousness thing is my identity. And still there's so many things where in the I, I look back on decisions and I'm like, huh, why did they do that? That was not an alignment. And meditation is a tool to close gap, to do less of the wrong decisions and to do more of the right decisions. Do a quick check in with yourself too. How do you perceive your spiritual path? How do you see your journey into more becoming more and more self aware who you are and what is, what is in alignment with you, what is serving. Serving you. And the amount of decisions that we make that afterwards feel like, yeah, is a good indicator of where we are in this journey and can be something simple like eating, eating out at a restaurant and afterwards be like, and this food, no was not the right. Or meeting with a person. And afterwards you're like, oh, I feel a little bit drained. I have less energy than before or embarking on a work project or posting an Instagram post. And afterwards be like, what did I post? This doesn't have any, any interaction. And yeah, I don't really like this post. Like these small things are an indicator of how self aware we are, of how much in alignment we are with ourselves. And the more these little. All right, let's finish our contemplations. Little like wrong decisions pile up the less space there is for, for the things that really matter. Take a moment for yourself to check in. How do you see your journey on the spiritual path of coming into alignment with yourself, of being connected with, with truth, with, with essence and connect our physical capabilities with another important dimension, with our spiritual dimension and this connect. I believe that with the, with the rise of technology, with the rise of AI, let's connect with the next point and then Do a little reflection. Disconnects perfectly to what Michael Singer calls living from a place of surrender. And that's what I shared earlier. I. It's one of our most important tasks to get to know ourselves better than the machine. After some of you said that after our first part of the workshop, machines will get to know us. The machines will get to know us pretty well even now. Exploring where we are coming from and what is taking place right now. There are feelings of frustration, of helplessness, of like being scared, feeling apathy, feeling like ugh. And what I, what I shared, what set me free, is to realize that everything is playing exactly as it meant to be out. Like it's insane. You go on YouTube and you watch a couple of videos about a certain topic and then everywhere you go on the Internet you will see which doesn't always mean that things are easy and comfortable and which doesn't mean that humanity will continue to thrive and to exist in the future. But ads or products related to this, so this topic that you watch, video, everything will play out exactly perfect. And every time I feel a resistance to something that I don't want or I feel, I feel attached to something I want and that should continue because it's nice and beautiful. It's an invitation for me to let go of these attachments, of these clinging or these resisting of as Michael Singer puts it, my personal self that wants certain things and that hates other things is about. So the machines already know us pretty well. Of course right now you need to watch a video first and then the machine and to let, let go of that and to live in grounded in reality, to accept what is present there and to let ourselves be surprised what wants to emerge next. That's the stack. But in the future it can anticipate, it can probably know where you will be heading. Oh, there might be a certain, certain hobby coming up or a certain kind of interest and then it will will show you like ads or videos or whatever content happen to enter. Yellow and beyond. That's the step into tier two. That's the step into a mode of being like even before you know you know it. That's. That's something that will. And leaving behind the mode of just surviving this happens there and letting the ego be there but not acting out of it, not making decisions out of it. We are not the one acting, we are not the one like doing the things like I, I'm not the one very likely it happened. And of course if these machines hosting this workshop, I'm the one observing that somebody is hosting this workshop right now and this perspective us so well, they have a lot of power and I don't want to live in a future where my life is dictated by the machine. And I just say, okay, hey Siri or hey, whatever, Alexa, what is, what is going on today? What if shift is profound? If we have an argument with our partner and they say mean things to us or we get triggered or whatever and we live from this place of oh, now I'm hurt and triggered. Oh, should I do okay? And then she tells me, oh yeah, meet with this person and finish this work product. You hurt my feelings, whatever. And you're fully in. It's super hard to dissolve this conflict project and take some time to read this book because you're interested in that. And I'm just like following on autopilot what the machine is telling me, no, I don't want to do that. That's a scenario that plays out and it's almost impossible. But we are because we are still in this game of I want to be right, I want to be loved, I want to be successful, I want to be seen, I want to be whatever. But if we realize that we are not the one acting, but we are the one observing that quite, quite some films somebody is acting completely different game begins. I'm looking forward to a future where we use these devices, these technologies. If we feel nervous before public speaking, before as a support, but the true knowing the true or a talk that we're giving or kind of presentation at work or at university or whatever, if we feel nervous and we identity truth comes out of, out of our beings by ourselves with this nervousness, then we are fully in, then we're fully in and a tool to achieve that as meditation. And we're clinging and we're resisting and life is hard, we're suffering. As Buddha says, all of life is station. Meditation for me personally is the, the greatest enhancer of self awareness suffering. Why is all of life suffering? Because we are resisting things we don't want and we are clinging to things we want if we let go of that and live of getting to know myself deeper and in a more intimate way. And that's why again, three and a half weeks ago I picked up my, my daily, daily 60 minute meditation habit. And it's so, so beautiful. I can tell you for our place from this unconditional acceptance and realize that we are not the one acting, but we are the one observing that somebody acts here. Oh, that's interesting. Oh, there's this feeling of nervousness oh, interesting. This, this, this whole notion is like so typical for this yellow worldview. Everything that's taking place is just met with the reaction of oh, interesting. I'm feeling hurt right now. Oh, interesting. Like before the workshop I just sat down for an hour in nature. And afterwards, after this hour, I'm. Every time, there's not a single time that after the meditation I'm like, okay, yeah, wow, the hour is over. I didn't need that. I'm feeling super excited right now. Oh, interesting. My, my business is really, really successful right now. I earned a lot of money all, every single time it's like, oh yes, this was so good. This was so important. Sometimes it's difficult, sometimes it's challenging, be it like physically or mentally or Most interesting. I got a, I got a negative, I got a negative comment on my Instagram post. Oh, interesting. And even the bigger things that are going on in this, virtually all things are coming up. But every time, every single time I'm like, this was so important. And I feel it's, it's such a shortcut to do more of the things right now. Climate is changing, we are destroying the biosphere. Oh, interesting. It almost feels crazy to say that. And that shows how things that are really in alignment with myself and to less of the things that are not in alignment with myself, I still far away we are collectively from this just like neutral yellow, non detached paradigm. But that's something we are invited to lean more into because that might makes not only our lives so much easier to this day make a lot of wrong decisions. So many times I look back and I'm like, what did I do there? Why did I do this? That was no, that was not aligned with myself. And I'm saying that as somebody who likes more than half of his life, it makes us a so much better agent of change because we can focus all like 100 of our capacity of our gifts to the cause that is important for us because like we are not distracted with any like ego games of being right, being like being loved, being successful, being like earning a lot of money, whatever. It's just like, okay, I'm at service. I am at service and I follow, I follow the path of dives into the intricacies of myself and reads all sorts of books and coachings and programs and like this consciousness thing. Surrender. The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer is a profoundly beautiful book that shows the path of a man who accidentally built a billion dollar company. And if my identity and still there's so many things where in the I I look back on decisions and I'm like, huh? I did spiritual community without aiming to do so. Because the. Because living from a place of surrender doesn't mean we just sit in a cave and meditate all day. It can do that. That was not an alignment and meditation as a tool to close this lead to a lot of material success. This because it's a completely different way to do less of the wrong decisions and to do more of the right decisions way of being and that's leaning into yellow. Do a quick check in with yourself too. And when something is up, when something comes up, frustration is coming up or resentment is coming up or anger is coming up or sadness is coming up or whatever is coming up. The mantra is relax and release. Okay, I'm feeling sad. Okay, how do you perceive and sit with the sadness? Sit with this resentment, sit with this anger. See if your spiritual path. How do you see your journey into more becoming more and more self aware who you are and what is. Sit with this feeling of unfairness that the, that the, that the evil corporations are destroying the planet and now what is in alignment with you? What is serving serving you and therefore we need to clean up this mess. Sit with that. Okay, okay. I'm feeling that I'm not rushing anything. I don't try to amount of decisions that we make that afterwards feel like yeah, make this feeling go away but I'm really with it and then it can pass by itself. This is what Peter Lange amazing teacher is a good indicator of where we are in this journey. And it can be something simple like eating. Eating out at a restaurant and afterwards be like this food. No, was not the right. I was fortunate enough to attend all his workshops in Germany calls detached involvement. Detached involvement for me is not like. Like everything or meeting with a person. And afterwards you're like, oh, I feel a little bit drained. That I said can be perceived as okay. Life is super neutral. You're like, just like, okay, okay. They have less energy than before or embarking on a work project or posting an Instagram post. And afterwards be like, why did I post this? Doesn't have any, any interaction. And yeah, I don't really like I'm doing well. Well, I'm not. I'm not really there because I'm just like nothing touches me. No. Detached involvement means you are fully there. You are fully playing this game called life, but you're not identifying with it. You're like all in, but you're not identified with it. It's like his post like these small Things are an indicator of how self aware again you play. You are the one observing where we are, of how much in alignment we are with ourselves. And the more these little. That's a completely different experience. Completely different experience. And at the same time, of course it's difficult to practice that. But that's my invitation for you. Like wrong decisions pile up. The less space there is for. For the things, everything that's coming up, every emotion. When you check in with the state of the world, or you look at your own life or that really matter. Take a moment for yourself to check in or you look at your relationship or your business or whatever you're looking at, or your children or your parents or everything. That's. How do you see your journey coming up? Relax and release. Okay, I'm with that because we have. We. We have this fear that if we sit with the sadness, if we sit with this anger, if we sit with. On the spiritual path, coming into alignment with yourself, of being connected with, with truth, with. With essence, with this resentment, if we sit with whatever it's there with this overwhelm, it will expand even more and then it will swallow us. And we will not be able to do anything because we are full, fully swallowed by the sadness. And then we will sit and cry for the rest of our lives. No, this will not happen. If we say yes, if we allow ourselves to fully feel this, it will pass on and this connection sooner than later. Our lives are just so difficult because let's connect with the next point. And then because we didn't feel like all the things in the past. And that's why we still carry it, that's why it's still a part of us. And do a little reflection. This connects perfectly to what Michael Singer calls living from a place of surrender. And that's what I shared earlier. And that makes it hard to just serve, just contribute, just put our gifts through practice. Because we are carrying all this shit from the past. And every new situation that's. That's arising in our lives, where we feel triggered is an invitation to. After some of you said that after our first part of the workshop of exploring where we are coming from and what is taking place right now, there are feelings of release. All the shit from the past by just being with it, being with the sadness, being with this feeling of unfairness, being with whatever is coming up, this frustration of helplessness, of like being scared, feeling apathy, feeling like practice alone can set us completely free. And for me, the daily meditation and what I shared, what set me free is to realize that everything is playing exactly as it meant to be. Which doesn't always mean that things are easy and comfortable and which doesn't mean is of great value on this journey because it's always a check in with what's going on and to surrender, to relax and to release. All right, take a moment for yourself to. To do a quick check in regarding your spiritual journey and that humanity will continue to thrive and to exist in the future, but everything will play out exactly perfect. And every time I feel a resistance to which extent what I said resonated with you and you see to something that I don't want or I feel, I feel attached to something I want and that should continue because it's nice and beautiful. It's an invitation for me to let yourself embodying that, or maybe not so much embodying that. Take a moment to note down a couple of thoughts, maybe emotions that are coming up go off these attachments of these clinging or these resisting of as Michael Singer puts it, my personal self that wants certain things and that hates other things. And to let go of that and to live in grounded in reality, to accept what is present there and to let ourselves be surprised what wants to emerge next. That's the step into, into yellow and beyond. That's the step into tier two. That's the step into a mode of being and leaving behind the mode of just surviving this happens there and letting the ego be there, but not acting out of it, not making decisions out of it. We are not the one act. We are not the one like doing the things like I, I'm not the one hosting this workshop. I'm the one observing somebody is hosting this workshop right now. And this perspective shift is profound. If we have an argument with our partner and they say mean things to us or we get triggered or whatever and we live from this place of oh no, I'm hurt and triggered are you? You hurt my feeling, whatever and you're fully in. It's super hard to dissolve this conflict. It's almost impossible. But we are because we are still in this game of I want to be right, I want to be loved, I want to be successful, I want to be seen, I want to be whatever. But if we realize that we are not the one acting, but we are the one observing that somebody is acting, completely different game begins. If we feel nervous before the public speaking, before a talk that we are giving or kind of presentation at work or at university or whatever, if we feel nervous and we identify ourselves with this nervousness Then we are fully in. Then we're fully in and we're clinging and we're resisting and life is hard. We're suffering. As Buddha says, all of life is suffering. All right, let's slowly finish suffering. Why is all of life suffering? Because we are resisting things we don't want. And we are clinging to things contemplation process, knowing that we will continue to be on this journey for the rest of our physical existence. And there's a rush and at the same time, the life, especially in these terms we want if we let go of that. And l in times can be so much more easy, so much more beautiful, and so much more effortless if we release all this stuff from the past that we still carry around and at the same time knowing that our contribution to the shift that's happening right now is of so much greater value if we more and more neutralize ourselves and become a clean vessel for what's. What wants to fill our place from this unconditional acceptance and realize that we are not the one acting, but we are the one observing that somebody acts here. Oh, that's interesting. Oh, there's this feeling of nervousness. Oh, interesting. This, this, this whole notion is like so typical for this yellow worldview. Everything that's taking place is just met with the reaction of, oh, interesting. I'm feeling hurt right now. Oh, interesting. Flow through ourselves. All right. In, In Taoist philosophy, this is called doing non action, which doesn't mean that we don't do anything, but anything from a place of, of forcing, of. Of. Okay, I manifest setting my goal and then I, I try to achieve something. It's more a place of letting action flow through you. Through you. When the right moment. I'm feeling super excited right now. Oh, interesting. My, My business is really, really successful right now. I earned a lot of money. Oh, interesting. I got a, I got a negative. I got a negative comment on my. Is there exactly the right things will emerge and this trust, developing this trust, this Instagram post. Oh, interesting. And even the bigger things that are going on in this world, something that's very hard for most people, myself included, because we learned from a young age that in order for things to. To change, we need to force them to change. We need to make them change. We need to make change happen. The change maker, the archetype of the change maker that goes out and changes the world, that's still rooted in this paradigm of force. And that's why this daily meditation practice is like, so valuable. So valuable because we get a mirror Get a mirror in front ourselves where we realize right now climate is changing, we are destroying the biosphere. Oh, interesting. It almost feels crazy to say that. And that shows how far away we are collectively from this just like neutral yellow, non detached paradigm. But that's something we are invited to lean more into because that might makes not only our life so much easier. What's really going on. Next invitation is to invest in relationships more and more reconnect. Like the healing. It makes us a so much better agent of change because we can focus all on a global, I wouldn't call it healing. I don't, I don't think healing is the right word. The shift that's taking place on a global stage. More towards green and yellow values, more towards connection, more towards family, more towards unity. Like 100% of our capacity of our gifts to the cause that is important for us. More towards abundance, more towards holistic well being of everybody and everything involved. This begins on the smallest level because like we are not distracted with any like ego games of being right, being like being loved, being successful, being like earning a lot of money, whatever. It's just like okay, I'm at service, I'm at service and I follow the path of settle in our family. So an invitation I want to make is to look into your most, your smallest possible circle. Surrender. The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer is a profoundly beautiful book that to begin working there within your partnership with your children, with your parents, with your siblings, with your grandparents shows the path of a man who accidentally built a billion dollar company. And, and this is for most of us the, the most challenging area of where to put our gifts spiritual community without aiming to do so. Because the, it's much more easy to, to host a session for a client who doesn't know us and where we can be professional and just offer our, our service. Because living from a place of surrender doesn't mean we just sit in a cave and meditate all day. It can lead to a lot of material success because it's a completely different way of being and that's leaning into yellow. And when something is up, when something comes up, frustration is coming up. Or in the interconnectedness with our parents and all the different stories and, and stuff that resentment is coming up or anger is coming up or sadness is coming up or whatever is coming up. The mantra is what's going on in the past. Like things are, things are on a different level, different stakes and at the same time this is where relax and release. Okay, I'm feeling sad. Okay, the Greatest gifts are able to be. To be reaped. Currently living together with my 82 year old and sit with the sadness, sit with this resentment, sit with this anger. Grandma here in Bali, she moved to Bali for three, three months. Hit with this feeling of unfairness that the, that the, that the evil corporations are destroying the planet. And now we need to clean up this mess. Sit with that. Okay. Okay. I'm feeling go. And this process is so beautiful and at the same time it's really challenging that I'm not rushing anything. I don't try to because it's. A lot gets stirred up in her, A lot gets stirred up in me. And we are like working through that make this feeling go away. But I'm really with it and then it can. And I think this is oftentimes much more valuable than booking the next coaching because on our, in our immediate surroundings we get, we get reminded of what's still there. What kind of ego parts are still there. Thank you, Jennifer for sharing. Yeah, honest sharing. I had the privilege to be in a couple of certain paths by itself. This is what Dieter Lange, amazing teacher I was fortunate enough to attend all his workshops in Germany, calls detached involvement. Detached involvement for me is not like, like everything that I, that I said can be perceived as okay. Life is super neutral. You're like, just like, okay, okay, I'm doing well. I'm not, I'm not really there because I'm just like girls where this was practiced. It's a beautiful practice. Maybe you can, you can even share in the chat. The, the book that, that introduces this practice. I don't remember the author. Maybe you have it at hand. That's a beautiful practice to just, to just share what is there. Yeah. As I said, investing in land and investing in relationships are the best investments we can make for the future that's emerging right now. Nothing touches me. No. Detached involvement means you are fully there. You are fully playing this game called life, but you're not identifying with it. You're like all even in our business, like bringing real. This connects deeply to the, to the, to the concept of sacred work. Bringing real tangible value to your clients and to your community in. But you're not identified with it. It's like a game you play. You are the one observing. That's a completely different experience. Whatever you're doing in your business or if you're working in a corporate job, like bring real tangible value. Am I like, am I just doing my job? Am I just, just jumping like as high as I need to in Order to pass so that the client is like, okay, that was an okay session. That was good. Yeah. Completely different experience. And at the same time, of course, it's difficult to practice that. But that's my invitation for you. That was good. Or am I really putting everything out there? If it would be the last thing I did, would I be really satisfied with it? Everything that's coming up, every emotion, when you check in with the state of the world, or you look at your own life or you look at your relationship or your business or whatever you're looking at with children or your parents or everything that's coming up, Relax and release. Okay, I'm with that. Because we had. We had. Because I put everything in there. Like, all the value, all the creativity, all the love. This wall. We. We have this fear that if we sit with the sadness, if we sit with this anger, if we sit with payout, big time for ourselves and for. For the others, because what is so rare in these times, like, everything is commodified is. Everything is like, yeah, food is okay. This resentment, if we sit with whatever it's there with this overwhelm, it will expand even more, and then it will. And entertainment is okay, and everything is okay, but will swallow us. And we will not be able to do anything because we are fully swallowed by the sadness. And then we will. There's not a lot of extraordinary things. Extra. Sit and cry for the rest of our lives. No, this will not happen. Ordinary. Great food. Extraordinary. Great podcasts. Extraordinary. Great houses. Extraordinary. Great relationships. Extraordinary. If we say yes, if we allow ourselves to fully feel this, it will pass. Ordinary. Great moments with our loved ones. Extraordinary. Great art, architecture, like, sooner than later. Our lives are just so difficult because we didn't feel like all the things in the past and that we. That's why we still carry it. That's why this is something that I want to advocate for. And that's something that the machines are not capable of right now. Still a part of us, and that makes it hard to just serve, just contribute, just put our gifts. Oh, yeah. Erica asked about the title of Michael Singer's book. It's called the Surrender Experiment. I love the. The subtitle. A Journey into Life's Perfection. I love the subtitle so much. Yeah. So practice. Because we're carrying all this from the past. And it's a beautiful book. It's a really beautiful book. Every new situation that's. That's arising in our lives, where we feel triggered, is an invitation to. All right, looking at the time let's slow release all the from the past by just being with it being with the sadness being with this slowly conclude one more invitation is to connect more with nature. Move into nature. I like if I could pass down feeling of unfairness being with whatever is coming up this like one piece of wisdom is that my life change practice alone can set us completely free tremendously. When I not only moved to Bali but when I really moved into nature like really living in a. Right now we're living in a tent but could not and for me the daily meditation everybody wants to live in a tent can be a little. Can be a little house but moving more into nature here the clarity will arise. What to do on an individual scale in our personal lives but on a global level is of great value on this journey because it's always a check in with what's going on and to surrender to relax and to when I'm. When I'm sitting and meditating to release. All right, take a moment for yourself to do a quick check in regarding your spiritual journey in the forest or like overlooking the Balinese rice fields or at the waterfall. Like. Like clarity and connectedness to which extent what I said resonated with you and you see on a completely different level as possible than when I sit down in meditation in my. In my. In my living room in Berlin overlooking a construction site. Yeah yourself embodying that. Or maybe not so much embodying that. Take a moment to note down a couple of thoughts. Spend as much time as possible outdoors. This is not only good for our bodies like walking, being outdoors. Something as simple as when I do coachings these days. Maybe emotions that are coming up. I always say like in the beginning with a new client I say like okay, from time to time if it's really necessary we can do a zoom call if we need to like go through something. If you need to show me something screen share within your business or whatever, we can do that. But for most of our coaching sessions I'm just available for audio. Audio only. And I will take a walk. I will like take a walk for half an hour for one and a half hours for two hours. No matter how how long our coaching session is. And I will walk the same whole time because then I combine like working mentally with working physically and I feel so much more refreshed afterwards like this workshop. As much as I love this space, like sitting here for three hours in this place feels wrong to me. I need to work on. I need to work on create on crafting a an audio Workshop where I'm in motion. Like my, my ideas, my, my, my, my thoughts, my creativity is able to. To flow so much more when I'm not stagnant in one place. That's a simple hack. How we can be more outdoors. If we are like replying to text messages or emails, we can sit down on our sofa or we are outdoors and recording voice messages. Yeah. All right. Are there any further things that are still missing in this cocktail that we are brewing today? Check in with yourself. If there are any questions, any things that are important for you right now, give a sign. In the chat, this was a lot of input and the first one today, just everything that's equally fine. I see Jennifer typing something. Jennifer, if you want to. Ah, okay. Jennifer asks, I would love to connect more with people on this path. Do you have some ideas with me? I have, I have, I have. After this workshop is finished, I will send the recording via email. And if you want to connect deeper, reply on. Reply to this email and I will send you an invitation to our Gaia's custodians Telegram group. I just recently started the telegram group where I invited a couple of amazing people from my network. We around 35, 40 people right now who are really immersing themselves in these various topics and exploring that and sharing resources and having conversations. And in the future I want to spread this group more fun and white and make it more accessible for people. Right now it's really like early in the stage and if you want to connect more with it's, it's for free, there's no charges or whatever. If you want to connect more with people that are on this path, send me a message. And I sent you the link to the group. I think this could be a good starting point, especially in the future. I will, I will. I want to facilitate more like offline connections and people meeting and really, really like beginning on this journey. And then another idea is just to put yourself out there with what is truly present in you. I know that, like, it's so interesting. It's. I perceive that within myself sometimes as well. I'm in conversations with people and afterwards I'm like, somehow it didn't really click. It was not really like nourishing. It was like, all right, let's slowly finish. Like, okay, it was a nice conversation. And then I asked myself, did I put myself fully out there? Did I. Did I ask the questions that really matter to me or did I let myself be drawn into the. Whatever small talk or whatever's going on, contemplation process. Knowing that really have the courage to show up and be with everything that's in you right now, with all the crazy ideas and with all the overwhelming. We will continue to be on this journey for the rest of our physical existence and there's no rush. And at the same time the life, especially in these turbulence and with everything in between. And be that in your relationships. And this will probably lead to some people being like, okay, that's weird or that's overwhelming or I can't handle that or whatever. And these relationships will slowly probably times can be so much more easy, so much more beautiful, a little bit apart. And then there are others with whom the relationship intensifies, like big and so much more effortless. If we release all this stuff from the past that we still carry around. And at the same time knowing that because it's like, oh my God, you are thinking about the same things that I'm thinking of. You are feeling the same, you're looking into the world the same. Oh my God. Wow. Let's deepen our conversations. Let's, let's have, let's have detox. For our contribution to the shift that's happening right now is of so much greater value. Hours deep into the night because we both show up our fully. And that's the simplest, the simplest thing that we can, we can, we can do to be with all that in all the encounters. And as weird as that sounds, if somebody just asked me, hey, how are you today? Answering with tremendously amazing or answering with, actually, I'm so sad, I don't know how to get out of bed. Having the courage to say these two, to reply these. When somebody asks you the simple question of how are you? This requires a lot of courage. It's super easy to say, yeah, I'm okay. Good, good. Oh, it's fine. But having the courage to say incredibly amazing or super overwhelming, this maybe invites in a conversation that otherwise wouldn't arise. And of course it will push other people away from us who can handle that. But I think that's a beautiful thing, as difficult as that is sometimes. So, yeah, showing up. And if you feel called to connect deeper with people in this community, send me a message. Elena asks, how do I bring it all together, Surrendering and be active and finding one's part in this evolutionary process? Elena, that's the million dollar question and I don't have any answers to that. I think that's the path we will walk our whole lives on, slowly developing the capacity to hold all this complexity, like the Topics we covered today, they were like super broad. And our, our brains always look for the shortcut. They always are like, okay, yeah, we talked about these. If we more and more neutralize ourselves and become a clean vessel for what's what wants to flow through ourselves. All right. And in Taoist philosophy, this is called woo. I'm doing non action, which does 30 different topics. Nice. But what's the one thing? What's the one action step mean? That we don't do anything, but anything from a place of forcing, of, okay, I manifest setting my goal and then I try to achieve something. It's more a place of letting action flow through you, through you. When the right moment, what's the one truth? What's the one thing I need to do? What's the one solution? Like, is there exactly the right things will emerge. And this trust developing this trust is at the end of the day, what does it all come down to? And asking this question is part of the problem. Looking for the one thing is part of the problem because there is no one thing. There is no one thing for a great life. There is no one thing for a beautiful, thriving world. It just is not something that's very hard for most people, myself included. It's everything and all at the same time. And of course that make. Because we learned from a young age that in order for things to. To change, we need to force them to change. We need to make them change. We need to make change happen. The change maker, the archetype of the change maker that goes out and changes the world. That's still rooted in this paradigm because it's so, so, so complex. So if I would try to come up with an answer, it would be to first be at peace with the complexity and with everything of force. And that's why it's going on and are like, okay, this is the game, okay. That are rules of the game. It's this daily meditation practices, like so valuable, so valuable because we, we get a mirror, get a mirror in front ourselves where we realize what's really going on. Next invitation is to complex, okay. And then I would check in where my curiosity leads me. Okay. Somehow this topic of living a more physical life, questioning my nutrition feels something that I'm drawn into. Okay, Then I will look at that. And then the next day I'm drawn into like researching the crazy, the crazy, crazy effects of technology more and more. Then I will go into that, invest in relationships more and more, reconnect like the healing. And then the next day I want to connect with My grandma. And then I will do that and allow myself to not be put in this one box. On a global. I wouldn't call it healing. I don't, I don't think healing is the right word. The. The shift that's taking place on a global stage. More towards green and yellow values, more towards connection, more towards family, more towards unity stuff. I'm this, I'm that, I do this, I that. But more towards abundance, more towards holistic. Allowing myself to be like everything and do everything. Because this is what what's needed. This is what's really needed for good life and for well being of everybody and everything involved. This begins on the smallest level in our family. So an invitation I want for beautiful future on this planet for all the species, all the life forms. Trust that whatever you need to take away from this workshop is there without asking yourself this. Like, like every. Every space, every workshop, every online course, every coaching, whatever. In the end there's always this question of what is the action step onto make is to look into your most. Your smallest possible circle to begin working there within your partnership with your children, with your parents. What is the one thing you will do now? What is the one thing you will implement in your life? And that's still part of the problem asking this question because there is no one thing. There's no one action step. There's no one hack. There's no magic pill with your siblings, with your grandparents. And this is for most of us it's not trust that whatever you needed to take away from the space, you took it and this seed will ripen and then it will flower. They will the most challenging blossom. Trust that this will take place area of where to put our gifts. It's much more easy to. To host a session for a client who does without this habit of force. I need to make it happen. I need to check like in the next days I need to. I need to write, I need to go through my notes and then I check what are the three most important things and then they develop Noahs and where we can be professional and just offer our, our service but the goals for that and of course if you feel drawn to do that, do that. But that's not, that's. That's not mandatory. Like even in the interconnectedness with our parents and all the different stories and, and stuff that was going on in the past, like things are, things are on a different level, different stakes and at the same time this is where the greatest gifts are able to be to be reaped. Currently Living together with my 82 year old, Lucian is a natural process. You cannot even stop it. Like, one thing I find really beautiful is grandma here in Bali. She moved to Bali for three months. When I'm in the city and then you see trees next to a street and these trees have this little confined part of soil and around that all concrete, like the sidewalk and the street. And then something happens. The tree, the. The roots ago. And this process is so beautiful. And at the same time it's really challenging because it's. A lot gets stirred up in her, a lot gets stirred up in me. And we are like working through that. And I think this is. Oftentimes roots of these trees don't have enough space. And when they don't have enough space, they are not like, yeah, okay, I don't have enough space. I stay small. No, they're like, okay, fuck the concrete. And the roots will break the concrete. And every time I see that in the city, like the untamed nature of nature, I'm like, yeah, that's a reminder. You cannot stop the evolutionary process. Much more valuable than booking the next coaching because in our immediate surroundings we get as. You cannot stop the tree from expanding. Of course, you can cut it down and you can kill it and then it's over. But we get reminded of what's still there. What kind of ego parts are still there. You cannot keep it small. It's not possible. It will find its way. Truth will find its way. Expansion will find its way. Consciousness will find its way. And the more we align with this natural evolvement, with this natural unfolding, with this natural. There's a beautiful term, it's called emergence. I love the word emergence. Thank you, Jennifer, for sharing. Yeah, Honest sharing. I had to have the. The privilege to be in a couple of circles. Emergence is like something will just emerge. It will just emerge, just. And then it's there. There was nobody who said, like, okay, I will make this happen. No, things were emerging. And this is the nature of consciousness. And that's something we are invited to trust, go where this was practiced. It's a beautiful practice. Maybe you can, you can even share in the chat. The. Yeah, the book that. That introduces this practice. I don't remember the author. Maybe you have it at hand. It's a beautiful practice to just. To just share what is there. As I said, investing in land and investing in relationships. Helena says this answer is this one thing. No, I didn't want to give one thing. There's no one thing. Thank you. Thank you for this Invitation to elaborate further on that. All right, friends, let's slowly close the space. Yeah, that was a lot of fun. That felt a lot like sacred work for me are the best investments we can make for the future that's emerging right now felt like service. And at the same time, I feel enriched myself too. Even in our business, like bringing real. This connects deeply to the, to the. To the concept of sacred work bringing real tangible value to your clients and to your community. And I will soon go home to my beautiful son and bring him to bed. And it was a great day. I thank you for, for your presence in this. And as I said, whatever you're doing in your business or if you're working in a corporate job, like, bring real tangible value. Am I, like, am I just doing my job? Am I just. Just jumping like as high as I need to in order to pass so that the client is like, okay, that was an okay session. That was good. Yeah. This workshop is entirely living in the gift. I see it as a gift from me to the world because the things that I'm, that I'm offering, they were given to me, like, even like my brain and my heart and my life and everything. Everything is a gift that was good. Or am I really putting everything out there? If it would be the last thing I did, would I be really satisfied with it? And that's why I can only, like, put that out there as a gift. And I see it as an antidote to the usual way of economic. Because I put everything in there, like all the value, all the creativity, all the love. This will make transactions that are usually, like, cold and anonymous. Okay, someone is booking a session, booking a class, booking a. Booking an online course, whatever, and it's like, yeah, it just doesn't feel right anymore. And I started experimenting with the gift economy four years ago, and it was still payout big time for ourselves and for. For the others. Because what is so rare in these times, like, everything is commodified is. Everything is like, yeah, food is okay. It's still a process and I'm still like deep in the process, but I feel that the next phase is emerging of me leaning like really fully, fully, fully, fully, fully into this gift based realm. And entertainment is okay and everything is okay, but there's not a lot of extraordinary things. Extraordinary, great food, Extraordinary, great podcasts, extraordinary. Because anything else doesn't feel right anymore. Like charging somebody a fixed amount for the work that I'm doing doesn't feel right anymore because I, if I charge like 200 bucks, somebody is like, this totally changed my mind. I want to give 2,000. And somebody said, like, okay, this was super boring. I wasted my time. I wouldn't even give 20. And both is okay. Both is perfect. And the standard way of doing business of. Of like treating each and every customer, each and every ordinary. Great houses. Extraordinary. Great relationships. Extraordinary. Great sunset moments with our loved ones. Extraordinary. Great art, architecture, like, this is something that I want to advocate for transaction the same. Just feels wrong. And at the same time, gift based. We did this little exercise of giving gift to the person we want to reconnect again. Just feels right. Just feels beautiful. And that's something that the machines are not capable of right now. Beautiful. And for me personally, if we are doing our sacred work, it feels wrong to write an invoice for that and to get compensated. Oh, yeah. Erica asked about the title of Michael Singer's book. It's called the Surrender Experiment. I love the subtitle. A Journey into Life's Perfection. I love the subtitle so much. Yeah. Excited for that. Imagine, like, Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel. And afterwards like, okay, my work is done. Here's my bill. Please transfer. It's like you're doing. And you were doing an amazing piece of art. And now like. And there's nothing wrong with him receiving money for that. It's a beautiful book. It's a really beautiful book. If the. If the recipient of this cathedral he all right, looking at the time, let's slowly. He. He gifted his art to was like, oh, my God. That's the most beautiful thing I ever saw. Slowly conclude one more invitation is to connect more with nature. I want to give a generous sum in return. That's perfect. That's beautiful. I'm not against money. Money is nice thing. But if this money is given voluntarily out of gratitude, it's a completely different game. And that's what intrigues me in the gift economy. First that the value is like, move into nature. I like, if I could pass down like one piece of wisdom is that my life changed tremendously when I not only moved to Bali, but when I really moved into really aligned. Not like, okay, everybody pays 200, and for some it's worth 2000, and for some it's not even worth 2020. And it's like nature, like, really living in a. Right now we're living in a tent, but could not wrong in all directions. It's like, great that somebody wants to contribute 2,000, and it's great that somebody wants to give like 11 and everything in between. Is equally, equally beautiful too. It aligns the value received with the value given like perfectly. And at the same time it's gratitude based. And that's why I love this. And everybody wants to live in a tent. Can be a little, can be a little house but moving more into nature. Here the clarity will arise. What to do on an individual scale in our personal lives. But on a global level too. When I'm, when I'm sitting in meditation in the forest or like overlooking the Balinese rice field that there is a. I or I already once did a gift economy workshop back in the days a couple of years ago and I feel that another one is coming because I want to spread this. I want to spread this further. There's so much, so much beauty and so much truth in me in it for fields or at the waterfall. Like, like clarity and connectedness. I mean. Yeah. And one more thing I want to share with you. It's interesting. In the past I, when I did like spaces like this gift economy based. In the end I post this is on a completely different level as possible than when I sit down in meditation in my, in my, in my living room in Berlin overlooking a construction site. Series of questions. I said okay, in order to support you through this gifting process, you can ask yourself a question like reflect on the, on the, on the workshop. Which realizations emerged for you? Which effect will this have on your future life and business? If you see the space as a gift to yourself, how much would that be worth to you? And so on. Yeah, spend as much time as possible outdoors. This is not only good for our bodies like walking, being outdoors, something as simple as when I do coachings, these then and so on. I created a couple of questions and they really supported, supported, supported people in a race. I always say like in the beginning with a new client I say like okay. From time arriving at an answer what I want to contribute. But as I prepared for this workshop I was like fuck this list. No, that doesn't feel right to time. If it's really necessary we can do a zoom call if we need to like go through something if you need to. That doesn't feel right because it's still like it's still driven from our minds. And a true gift can only show me something screen share within your business or whatever. We can do that. But for most of our coaching sessions I'm just available for audio, audio only. And I will take a walk. I will like take a walk for half an hour for one and a half hours for two hours. No matter what, how, how long our coaching session is now we'll walk the same time. They'll come from the heart. And only the heart knows what is an appropriate gift. Like imagine like for our brother's birthday, we want to make a gift for him and then we sit down and we're like okay, okay, let me try to quantify how is our relationship. What does he need right whole time? Because then I combine like working mentally with working physically and nobody would do that. We're just like, I want to give him this. I want to give him a. I feel so much more refreshed afterwards. Like this workshop. As much as I love this space, like sitting here for three hours in this place feels wrong to me. I need that. It's just like this feels like a right gift and we cannot even, cannot even explain. It's just like it's there. Or we are like no, I don't want to give a gift anymore. No, I don't want to. And that's totally fine too. So this whole like mental driven approach that we are to work on, I need to work on create on crafting a. An audio workshop where I'm in motion. Like my, my, my ideas, my, my, my, my thoughts, my creativity is able to. That we created the old paradigm world with and then dragging that into the new paradigm flow so much more when I'm not stagnant in one place. That's a simple hack how we can be more outdoors of if you're in order to make it more easy, more accessible. It's not doing any good if we are like replying to text messages or emails. We can sit there, we can sit down and. Or so that's why the only thing that I want to invite you is to ask yourself if there's an urge inside you to give a gift, to make a contribution. And if yes you can ask yourself what would be an appropriate gift, what would feel right. And that's it. It's on our sofa or we are outdoors and recording voice messages. Yeah. All right. Are there any further things? Simple as that. And we can overthink and we can try, try to make like any, any that are still missing in this cocktail that we are brewing lists and any like. But we can just like sit, feel and then trust that whatever comes up is right today. Check in with yourself if there are any and know that I will receive any gifts with a lot of gratitude no matter what they will be. And I full trust that everybody will arrive at the questions any things that are important for you. Right now, give a sign in the chat. Exact perfect decision. This was a lot of inputs and, and this feels incredibly liberating and at the same time it feels incredibly scary because of course I'm still like living with one foot. I'm still living in the old paradigm of like, okay, money is important and you put your, your, your time and your creativity and your value in it. And if you first want to digest everything that's equally fine. We would sell it for like whatever fixed price. Then you would make this amount of money and of course that's still a part. Like, I'm not, I'm not, like I'm not enlightened or whatever. I'm still. But what I. If there's one thing that I like more than anything else, it's to challenge myself. Where I see, okay, there's still something going on. Okay, bomb full in, head on. First into it, I see Jennifer typing something. Jennifer, if you want to. Ah, okay. And that's why I let go of this control stuff. Jennifer asked. I would love to connect. Eleanor shares. It's amazing how this just hits my pain point right now. More with people on this path. Do you have some ideas with me? I have, I have. I. How to align the wish for personal financial freedom and the feeling of wrongness with selling my wisdom and coaching. Have Elena. This inspires me even further to host a separate, separate workshop about these dynamics in the future. Thank you for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a. That's a big thing. That's a really big thing. After this workshop is finished, I will send the recording via email and I think we need to do that soon. Ethyl variants. If you want to connect deeper, reply to this email and I will send you an invitation to our Gaia's custodians Telegram group. It's better to do that right now. Yeah. All right, friends. It's super simple. If you. Oh, wait a second. If you feel the urge to. I just recently started the Telegram group where I invited a couple of amazing people from my network. We are around 35, 40 people right now who are. Right. If you feel the urge to really immersing themselves in these various topics and exploring that and sharing resources and having conversations and in the future I want to spread this group more fun. Send a gift. You can just make it more accessible for people right now. It's really like early in the stage and send it to the bank account I posted in the chat. That's it for everybody who watching this who are watching the recording right now. I Will share it in the accompanying email and I want to invite you to sense whatever feels right knowing that I will receive a lot of gratitude. Any gift. That's a. If you want to connect more with it's. It's for free, there's no charges or whatever. If you want to connect more with people that are on this path. Sent me a message and I sent you the link to the group. I think this gets arriving there. Yeah. I thank you for it could be a good starting point especially in the future. I will, I will. I want to facilitate more like offline connections and people meeting and really, really like big your presence. I thank you for your co creation. I thank you for this beautiful time we had today. Be it live or in the recording. I enjoyed it tremendously. Beginning on this journey. And then another idea is just to put. And if there's one. One last thing I want to contribute to the space is I want to put out an invitation for everybody who wants to connect yourself out there with what is truly present in. In you. I know that like it's so interesting. It's. I perceive that within myself deeper with the topics that we today, that we explore today that we just scratched the surface today. I want to invite you to. To get the book that I'm writing right now. It's called Gaia's Custodians and it covers the dynamics we discussed today in a much deeper level. I'm just finishing like as of sometimes as well. I'm in conversations with people and afterwards I'm like somehow it didn't really click. It was not really like nourishing. It was like, okay, it was a nice conversation. And then I asked myself, did I put myself fully out there? 31 March 2024. When this takes place live. I'm just. Did I. Did I ask the questions that really matter to me or did I let myself be drawn into the. Whatever small talk or whatever's going on finishing the book. It will be, it will be. It will be completed very, very soon. And I didn't feel that sense of pride with every. With anything that I put out there in the past that I feel this book right now. This feeling of like, this needs to go out. This like is so important. This is so sacred work. This is so like really have the courage to show up and be with everything that's in you right now with all the crazy ideas and with all the overwhelming emotions and with everything in between and be that in your relationships like the thing. So if you feel called to explore These topics deeper you can already get the book and, and this will probably lead to some people being like okay, that's weird or that's overwhelming. If you want to support this mission, you can get multiple books. You can give them to your friends, to your family members. We have a couple of or I can't handle that or whatever. And these relationships will slowly probably couple of bonuses for everybody who wants to support spreading this. Everything you find on the on the website that was that I just posted in the chat or that you see on the screen. All right, friends drift a little bit apart and then there are others with whom the relationship intensifies like big time because it's like oh my God, you are thinking about the same things that I'm thinking of. You are feeling the same, you're looking into the world the same oh my God. Wow. Get deepen our conversations. Let's, let's have, let's have detours for five. Let's close the space. There was a beautiful exploration of topics that are very dear to my heart. And I thank you for co creating the space and for your presence, for your curiosity, for your courage to allow yourself be touched five hours deep into the night. Because we both show up fully. And that's the simplest, the simplest thing that for your courage to allow that we can, we can, we can do to be with all that in all the encounters at these dynamics stir up everything that is still in the basement and these things want to come out. They want to be released. They want to be released. And as weird as that sounds, if somebody just asks you hey, how are you today? Answering with yeah, tremendously amazing or answering times call for brave, courageous and at the same time with actually I'm so sad I don't know how to get hard driven and get out of bed. Having the courage to say these two smart minds that are coming together and that are co creating the future. Knowing that to reply these when somebody asks you the simple question of how are you? This requires a lot of courage. It's super easy to say yeah, I'm okay, good, good. Exactly the right things will happen at exactly the right time and that is always fine. But having the courage to say incredibly amazing or shifted. We are observing right now as taking place super overwhelming. This maybe invites in a conversation that otherwise wouldn't arise. And of course no matter what we do and at the same time it requires our full participation in it. And it's a conundrum that our heads cannot bring together. Of course it will take place anyway and it's co created by 8 billion people. 8 billion people on this will push other people away from us who can't handle that. But I think so. It matters what we are doing. Yes. With that being said, thank you. Look forward to anything that might emerge. That's a beautiful thing, as difficult as that is sometimes. So, yeah, showing up and if you feel called to reach out of this and if you want to share something in the future, you can all connect deeper with people in this community. Send me a message. Elena asks how do I bring it all together? Surrendering. Always reach out to me via Instagram. And they're curious what emerged after the workshop out of the reconnection that you did with an old friend or whatever. Whatever it is, if you want to share, always reach out to me. Looking forward to see you again in a future space like this, or maybe even in person and be active and finding one's part in this evolutionary process. Elena, that's the million dollar question and I don't have any answers to that. Working on some nice things taking place here because this is for me personally, I think that's the, that's the. Is one of the most, most beautiful and most aligned places I have seen on this, on this, on this whole earth. Like here, the center, the heart of Bali, here up, up here in the mountains. It's like I want to invite more people into the space. Let's see what will emerge. All right, thank you, France. See you soon. Bye bye. That's the path we will walk our whole lives on. Slowly developing the capacity to hold all this complexity. Like the topics we covered today, they were like super broad. And our, our brains always look for the shortcut. They always are like, okay, yeah, we talked about these 30 different topics. Nice. But what's the one thing? What's the one action step? What's the one truth? What's the one thing I need to do? What's the one solution? Like at the end of the day, what does it all come down to? And asking this question is part of the problem. Looking for the one thing is part of the problem because there is no one thing. There's no one thing for a great life. There is no one thing for a beautiful, thriving world. It just is not. It's everything and all at the same time. And of course that makes it so, so, so complex. So if I would try to come up with an answer, it would be to first be at.
