Intimate group coaching has been— it's been amazing. And what's been amazing about it is Ruth has this amazing ability to hold space for everyone and everything that they're presenting. And in holding the space, whatever she's listening to, she's able to find the lesson, take that lesson and generalize it so that everybody can gain from the lesson she's teaching that person. So there's a, there's a lesson in everything that Ruth is presenting to the person that she's coaching. So it becomes this universal message to us all, and it's really fantastic. Sometimes I'm listening to a group coaching thinking, I really have nothing on my mind, but I'm taking so much in to The, the always compassionate way that she is with others is also a lesson in watching Ruth be compassionate to everyone. It's really a beautiful lesson to, to, to learn from.
The great things about group coaching is that I think we're all much more similar than we are different. And oftentimes it's easy, it can be easy to hear your issues or like a flavor of your issues come through somebody else working through Ruth and kind of watching that. So I always like to, when I'm in the invite, when I'm in that Zoom room to figure out when people are talking, even if it's like someone that doesn't match me up at all, I'm like, what, where can I resonate from that? Like, what can I take from that? So I think it's really powerful to do, um, group coaching. Sometimes it's a little nerve-wracking and people are shy and you have to be a little bit courageous. But I think it's great for everybody to hear all the commonalities and what you can take from that experience. And typically with Ruth, she finds out how many people want coaching. And the beauty is you don't have to get coaching, but you benefit from just being in the room, whether you speak or not. But she allows time for anyone who wants to speak and divides up her resources, her time by each person. So each person can feel heard and like they're going away with something.
We all get to benefit from Dr. Schwartz's years of work in this area and her scholarship and her compassion and her own experiences.
But I immediately wanted to do the deep dive because I like how the— it's— what's available is so unlimited. There are all those extraordinary recordings that are on the website. And the other thing that I find remarkable is after some of the courses, Ruth has been available for the Deep Dive membership to do coaching after the Deep Dive. And the coaching afterwards is set up as another hour. But she's so generous that her time— I'm amazed. Her role in there is she's just You know, models what it is to listen, and her replies are full of empathy. But she'll give you— it's 5 minutes, but she's so to the point, and she's so astute and tuned into what you're saying. Her sense of empathy that comes surprisingly just wonderfully tenderly on Zoom. I'm always surprised at how well. Zoom works in this setting.
The deep dive is exactly what it says. Like, it just allows you to go deeper and to get more specific about your situation. Thanks to you, Jen, like, I can say it anonymously as well, you know, because certain times, like, I didn't want it associated with me out of privacy of my ex. Um, so, like, to be able to feed you the question and hear it, you know, said During the class also was very powerful, as well as the times I have been, you know, direct in saying where I'm at, etc., and asking the questions and sharing insights. It's just been so powerful. And, you know, being in such a supportive group where everyone is just so supportive of each other, no matter where we are, it's amazing. I think that was like the best investment decision I made all year.
