So I've cut these little blocker pieces 2.5 inches wide, and I'm gonna nail these blockers to this joist and then lay another joist on top of it, and then that'll give me a 5.5-inch width, so that, that'll be the perfect width to support the bottom plate once I start building the walls, so there's extra support. Otherwise, it would just be a single 1.5-inch wide joist underneath the entire wall structure, so I'm trying to beef it up a bit so there's more solidity underneath. Next step is cutting a bunch of blockers. They're going to go in between the joists, keep them nice and stiff, prevent them from rolling or twisting, it'll make a beefy, nice beefy floor structure. So I got to cut about 35 of these 22.5-inch pieces and then slot them in, in between the joists. Pretty cool to get a first vantage point from what will be the floor, uh, at some point. Yeah, really cool to be able to actually stand up on here and, uh, get my first glimpse and sense of an actual cabin floor. So that's pretty cool. Got all these blockers in here on the end. Now I'm going to put another 2 rows of blockers, uh, running down at 4 feet and 8 feet, make this super solid. And then I'll start over here on this side and repeat all the same steps. All right, that's the last blocker for this half of the floor all done. So yeah, this first half is complete. Now I just gotta do the mirror image on the other side over here. Um, yeah, and then I'll have a floor. Then we can start laying some sheathing on. And, uh, yeah, it's just getting more and more real. All the time, and I just love how solid it feels. So solid. Hey everyone, uh, so first off, really just want to appreciate all of you watching for joining on this journey and following along and your comments and your excitement and support. Really appreciate it and really meaningful. So first off, thank you so much for that. It's been an incredibly fulfilling and joyful experience getting to this point, but unfortunately I've run into a pretty significant issue that's gonna force me to pause the project. I can't get into specifics right now, but totally unexpected and unfortunate. But such is life, running into obstacles and impediments. So I'm taking it in stride, gonna do my best to address the situation. I'm sorry I can't share more than that right now. So all that to say that I'm gonna have to pause the project, pause the videos, probably for hopefully a couple months, 2-3 months or so. But beyond that, super committed to continuing and getting the structure up, taking you all along the ride with me and seeing this through to the end. So this is definitely not goodbye or anything, just a see you soon, I'll see you later, while I take care of some things and clear the way. For the rest of this really fun and fulfilling project to take shape and continue and be completed. So, quick note on that, and in the meantime, wishing you all well, and thanks again for coming along, and I will see you soon. Thanks.
