Amazing Taste - Jerome Edmonds

Jerome Edmonds walks through how Amazing Taste uses the SalesVu app to take orders and process payments across two locations. The system handles menu selection, cash and card payments via Bluetooth reader, and recently integrated with Square.
Doing. I'm going to take you through a short video today explaining how we use our register. We use an app called SalesView. We have two restaurants. We use it at both locations. Right now we're in North Plainfield at Amazing Taste. And come a little bit closer. I'm going to show you our menu in the app that we use. We use an app called SalesView, which is definitely one of the best apps, if not the best app we have used. It's very simple, very easy to work with, and our menu is very simple as well, so it's even easier. Dinners come with two sides. So I'd go to dinners, click on baked chicken. I go to sides. Say the customer wants fries and Mac and cheese. You press fries and Mac right here where it says order number. You can leave it as a number. I don't know if that's what you prefer to do. We use the name. Say Frank is coming. Type in Frank and press continue. You can go back. If you have another customer, you just click on new order and do the same exact thing. Now, once Frank comes in, you just say, hello, sir, how are you doing? Are you picking up or place an order? He'll let you know that he placed an order already. You ask for his name and you know it's not Tom. There it is right there. It's Frank. Click on Frank. It's a baked chicken with fries and Mac and cheese. If that's all Frank is getting, you ask him if he's paying cash or credit. He'll tell you it's cash. You click pay, and his total is 1066. Now, it gives you a couple options. It has $20, $50, $100, or it rounds up to $11. If it's other than that, you click other. You can press 15. Once you press done, it'll show you the exact change to give back to the customer. Now, Frank is paying by credit card. You just press credit card. If he has a chip on his credit card, you insert it here in the Bluetooth reader and it pulls it up right here on the screen. If he does not have a chip, you swipe it here. After that, it will ask for the customer to sign and then it will offer him a receipt. Him or her receipt, text message or email, or no thank you, if that's what they prefer. Now, SalesVu has recently integrated with Square, which makes everything so much easier. Rather than going into two different apps like. Like you had to do before. It's all in one now, so you can swipe the credit cards right through SalesView. So it's definitely one of the best apps out there. We recommend it. We use it at both locations. We're looking to keep expanding and we'll keep using SalesView. It's one of the best. I really recommend getting it.
