Let me show you how a spa or a beauty salon could potentially use SalesVu with Square. So on the main screen, we see that we have different tabs on the top. We are on the POS tab, and from here we can see all the different categories, and we can see also subcategories. It could be services, or it could also be products, as we can see in here. We can browse through them and simply add them to, the order for a customer that comes in. We can see them here as well with different images, and if we tap on them, we can see a description and all the information of the product or service. Now the next thing here is going into appointments. So here we see first the layout of the salon where you can find different, um, stations or areas for, um, the customers to simply accommodate them. You can also add appointments from, for anyone who calls in, and you can do it directly from the POS.
Add the service of the staff member and add the day and the time.
Here you can also add the customer if you have them already in your CRM system, but if they're new, you can also add their information. Now from here, you can choose to take a deposit from any amount or the full amount. And simply close the transaction. Another thing that you can do here is take the waitlist, so just simply add the party size and the waiting time, and you can add any notes. So this is a way to avoid that long queue outside the, the spa or the salon, so people don't have to stay out and they simply get a text message whenever their station is ready, and then the staff member or the person in the reception can see simply allocate them to the place that they will be occupying, and then we see that clearly with the color coding in here. Once they have been assigned into their station, we can add any products, any services, and simply add it to the order, right? So that's what we're gonna do in here. In this case, David is going to get a laser tattoo removal, so we can see that in here, and then he's he's going to get a product as well for his skin, right? After treatment kind of product. We see that ordering here and he can use any payment method as well to close out the transactions. Now, if you have a Square device with you, you can finish that transaction that way. Here we see also the calendar. So we see any appointments for today and the customer information. Like the name, availability, employee assigned to it, and the day and the time. Here you can receive them and we can see that the color-coded change as well based on that change of a status. Now you can see appointments daily or weekly as well. Now I'm going to walk you through the e-commerce of the spa. So this is a demo account that has different things.
So if I go into book over here, I can see different appointments. For example, if I want to get a massage here, I can see the different type of massages. I can book it with any staff or any specific staff member, and I can select the day and the time as well. So I can get one for tomorrow, let's say in the morning, and I can add any special request. In this case, I have none, so I can continue with, with here, and I can log in or register. So I'm going to simply use my information so I can do the checkout easier. Other things as well I can do from here is add, for example, any sort of products, add other discount codes if it applies, or to simply kind of like book the appointment. Now here, if we're using Square as the payment processor, all you need to do is add the card number and proceed to pay. Now here we have a promotion that it says come back between tomorrow and another date to get another 10% discount, and it gives us the coupon code. Now this is a way to incentivize customers So it's a really nice way to bring people back. From here, I can view the receipt or I can go back and continue shopping. So now on the backend, I will be walking you through the things that are most important through a spy scenario. So here is the dashboard. And on the left side, we have all the different sections of SalesVu Technical Support Support. I'm just gonna go into services here because the main thing a salon would provide are the services. So I can go here into, um, for example, the laser tattoo removal session. So if you want to add a new service, you can simply click in here, but I'm just going to show an example and edit this one just to go through the different fields. So we have the name, the price, it can be fixed or variable. You can add any description or images. Categories are very important for reporting as well. And then we can add things such as the duration of the service and the delay time. So this is how much it would take for, to clean up the station before or during customers, right? So that's important. So that's kind of like how you set up the service and everything to, any description or important information related to it. Now another thing here is the service appointments. So basically here is the service calendar. I can go here again into services. I can see, for example, here the layout of the stations or of the different kind of like areas in the spa or the salon or whatever the place is. So it's easier to allocate anyone making an appointment or from a waitlist like we just saw on the POS. Here are also the time slots. So for example, I have one here created created for aromatherapy. So we can come here and view it. So basically here is the start and end time and the capacity for the service as well. So that is just the shift for that specific service. Here we have the scheduling, the employee scheduler. So we have here different, um, different staff members, technicians as well, according to, you know, their specialty. We will be able to create those kind of like different hours for them. So whenever someone wants to book a session with someone in specific, that appointment calendar will be connected to the employee's scheduler calendar so people can book with the person that they prefer or they feel more comfortable with. Then we have the service calendar. Basically here we can see any sort of like appointments made, just like the calendar on the POS. But this is basically on the backend. So you can see and manage those appointments either from the iPad or from the backend, from your computer or your phone or whatnot, and see whoever is coming. Other things as well in here are just kind of like inventory. So if you want to manage your inventory for retail purposes, right? Anything that is not an actual service, but any sort of like products that you sell for skin or makeup or things like that. You see here the on-hand quantity, the unit, the threshold level, so you can set up notifications whenever you're low on stock so you're reminded to make a new purchase order. Um, directly from here you can see the last cost price, final retail price, and if you're low on stock on a product— let's just go into an example here, for example this one— we can order a new quantity. We have here the vendor, we have the cost, and we can simply create the PO. Now there is PO automation as well. This is just a way to simply automate the whole purchase order for you, and you can set up how you want these purchase orders to be created on any kind of like schedule, weekly or daily, and any specific time of day based on the storage capacity on them or the max days on hand or both. So that way, whenever you reach those things according to your day and the time, those POs will be created automatically for you. And then you can see here the inventory cycle, and there is other things like delivery or shipping that can be seen from here. Now on the purchase orders, here is where you can see all the, for example, received orders, um, from any specific date range. So I'm just gonna go back in time And we can see historical data of any orders that you have received with the day and time and any payment status. You can receive partially or fully some orders. You can create new orders from here. Again, I'm just going to go into some, uh, date range in here, and anything that you haven't received, you can change any details. For example, in this example, we have the quantity. We have actually that this specific quantity was received on this day, on this time, and from that main order there's 60 missing. So whenever the other ones come from that partially received order, you can receive it at the vendor invoice number, and then those items will be added into your inventory count automatically. Under vendors, you can easily see, um, or attach products or add all the vendor information for your purchase orders. Under Adjustments, you can see any changes done on your inventory, positive or negative. So it could be damaged product, received products from purchase orders, imported inventory, product not found, anything related to, you know, to any changes in your in your inventory. So here you have multiple reasons, and that reason you can create them according to what makes sense. You can also transfer inventory from one location to another. So here we go, we can select the main, for example, the main store, and we can select another one, and we see the source and destination available quantity. And this way we can simply transfer some products, right? Just a quick example here, we see now the new inventory count according to that. And that movement as well will be seen under adjustments. You can set up the out-of-stock setting based on the e-commerce, POS, and kiosk. So just how you want to have that managed. And there's other things as well in here, but I'm going to focus here on the All-in-One report. This is our most complete report that you can get this report by employees, by locations, by products, categories, subcategories. It all depends on the information that you want to see. So we can see here all the product information with the date, and then we can go into the sales performance and find our best-selling items. We can also find how are the percentage of sales going, the total cost as well, maybe find products that are not meeting our margins as well. We can simply use this kind of like filter here and select less than according to your margins. And identify those products easier. We can see the percentage of total cost, inventory information, and vendor revenue. So this is a very complete report that you can also schedule this to your email or anyone in your team who needs to have this information before a board meeting or before the beginning of the month. So you can analyze this data quicker instead of going back here and select all the filters according to the, um, report that you need.
