Hi.
In this video I'm going to show you a new option that we've added to assign an employee to a specific product or service before taking a payment. First we have to enable two settings. I'm going to go to Features, click on Settings, select the location and now click under General Settings. First setting that we have to enable is show employee list when adding products or services in an order. The second one is Employee selection is mandatory when adding products or services. If this feature is going to be obligatory, then you can turn it on. If it doesn't matter, you can turn it off. Lastly, I'm just going to save the changes and now we're going to see how it looks on the pos. I will proceed and check out a customer by clicking on turn number one. Now we have an open order. If the service was provided by a different employee, we can assign it by touching on Edit. Next screen that you're going to see are the employees that are assigned to this service. I will change it to Louisa and click on Done. If I want to add a new product, I'm just going to go to Spa products. I will click on their face mask. And as you can see here, we have to select an employee mandatory. I will select Julia. For this example, click on Done. If I'm ready to check out the customer, just click on Pay, I will accept cash. And lastly click on Done. All the changes that we made by adding a specific employee to a product or service will be reflected on the labor report under Commissions.
Here is the labor report. If the employee is not assigned to get any commissions, for example Julia, the changes will be reflected on their total sale. If the employee actually has commissions assigned, for example Louisa, you will have to click here and next you can see it break it down for products or services.
