Our average ticket size report will show you your average sale amount processed on the point of sale. By default, you will be shown the last seven days from today, but you can change this date range to any custom range. To change this date range you have to click anywhere on the date field. Instead of a custom range, you can use one of the quick date ranges on the left side like yesterday or last 30 days. Here we're going to do a completely custom date range. In this section we'll be selecting the start time and date and here on the right side, the end time and date. Once you apply the date range, you'll see your average sale amount in that selected date range for that entire time period. In this demo account, we only process 23 sales for that time period with the average sale amount of $10.55. You can choose to break this report down hourly, daily, weekly or monthly depending on the date range. For example, I'm running a report for 12 days so I can break this report down daily to see my average ticket size for each day in the date range. Separately, we only process sales on these specific dates, so that's the information we see. If I was running a report for the entire year, I might want to see the average ticket size for each month. For example, you can break this report down by point of sale Stations employees to see which employee has the highest sales and also by location. If you have multiple locations, there are different visualizations that you can pick for this report. There's the simple table that we've been looking at. The table can be easily arranged to show the best selling employee, point of sale, station or location on top, and it can also be exported as a CSV file so you can work with the data further. If you can print this report right from this screen or save it, you can also view this report as a pie, especially when you're just comparing employees location or point of sale devices to each other. The line chart and the bar chart can be used when you're comparing employees locations or point of sale devices to each other over time.
