Connect SalesVu POS to Facebook Store

SalesVu Technical Support walks through connecting your SalesVu POS to Facebook by embedding your Web Store as a widget on your business page. Convert your store page to an 800px widget, copy its iframe code, paste it into Facebook's Static HTML app, adjust the scrolling setting to yes, then rename the tab to Shop.
In this video, I'm going to show you how you can add a shopping page for your business on Facebook. Here's what the finished product looks like with an example of a retail clothing store. So to set this up, you need to go to your SalesVU account, click on Features and Web Store and Facebook Store. Select the location and click on Set Up Web Store. In this case, our store is already set up. We used all the settings here on the left side to change the colors, the fonts, etc. And all you need to do is set this page as a widget. So if it's not set up as a widget, change it to widget. And you also need to make sure that the page width is 800 pixels. So change it to 800 if it's not that, and then simply click on Publish. At this point, we'll receive our widget code that we will need to paste to our Facebook business page. So I'm going to copy this on my Mac. I'm going to use Command C. If you're a PC user, you can do Ctrl C. And since I copied this, I can close it. I can go ahead and change my settings back and then publish back to what they were. And now I need to go to Facebook. This is my Facebook business page. Now I gotta search for an app that will allow me to put in this widget code. So I'm gonna search for static HTML iframe tabs. This is what I'm looking for. This is the app. So click on it and next click Add static HTML to a page which will open the Setup page. You can select which page you want to use this app on. So select your business page and click Add Page tab. Next click on Setup tab. You will see this text here below. You can simply delete that and paste the code that we copied from Sales View. We just need to make a couple changes. So change scrolling from no to yes and then you can delete everything that comes after iframe right here. So delete that and then you have a choice to preview or publish right away. So I published. Now I'm going to view it on Facebook. So here's my page and the app created a tab called welcome automatically. So we can go ahead and change it from welcome to shop and we can even move it upwards. And we can see our widget right here. We can see that it's functional. So I'm going to select the product and select the size, color, add it to my cart and checkout. And now we're going to go ahead and change this tab's name and position in Settings, go to Edit page and you can see all the tabs right here. So in order to move this tab, simply click on it and drag it all the way to the top. And I'm going to click on Settings, Edit Settings, and I'm going to create a custom tab name. I'm going to change it to Shop, Save that. Click ok, and I'll go back to the page and we can see that the Shop button is right here and it has all of our items right here. Hope this helped.
