A walkthrough of how to set up and apply customer-specific discounts in SalesView. The tutorial shows each step on an iPad interface, from creating the discount to seeing it take effect at checkout.
We have now added an option for you to put customers on discounts. So for that, I'm going to log into my SalesView account, go to Features, and then go to Discounts. I'm going to create a new discount by adding add discount. Just fill in the discount name when you choose the discount type, click the drop down and go to customers. Then you can add the discount value. And from here, you can either select a product or a category. I'm gonna go with a product that is dog clothes and choose dog costumes for Halloween and dog pajama expiration dates are mandatory. And the last part is you're gonna add a customer or you're gonna add a customer group. For this, I'm gonna add one customer and I'm gonna add Luisa to the discount. Click save and you see that the customer discount has been created. Now I'm going to show you how it's going to look like on the iPad. On the iPad, I'm going to attach the customer I created the customer discount for by clicking on the customer icon and searching for the customer. And then I'm going to select the products that has the customer discount. So it's going to be the dog pajamas and dog costumes for Halloween. And as you can see there, the discount has been applied.
