A short SalesVu Technical Support YouTube tutorial (single-speaker) demonstrating how to create and apply non time based discounts. The speaker shows using the web portal: Discount → Add Discount → name the discount, choose percentage or flat (example uses 5%), add products or categories, save. Then on the POS, open the relevant category, tap the discount icon and select the preset non-time-based discount to apply it at checkout.

Hi, Today I'm going to show you how to create a non time based discount. Let's go to your web portal. Click on Discount Click on Add Discount. Enter a discount name for this one. We're going to do a non time based disc discount and it could either be a percentage or a flat discount. We'll go with percentage and put 5%. Let's continue here. I can add a product or a category. It can be as many as I want as well. Then continue to save and your discount has been applied successfully. When you go to the POS and check out a customer, go to the category where the discount is applied. Click on the discount icon and choose from the preset non time based discounts that you've already done. Discount will be applied automatically to the product. Thanks for watching.
