A short tutorial transcript explaining how to configure and sync QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) with the host system. It walks through signing into the dashboard, connecting to QuickBooks Online (OAuth-style connect and grant access), and configuring QuickBooks Desktop via a QWC file and the QuickBooks Web Connector; it ends with a note about sync duration and troubleshooting support.
Today we're going to show you how to configure your QuickBooks account. First you sign into the dashboard and click on Accounting. We currently integrate with both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks for Desktop. First we'll show you how to integrate with QuickBooks Online. Click on yes. Make sure you read the Message here. Press OK. Now click on Connect with QuickBooks and then you will be taken to their website where you will log into your account. Now, once you log into your QuickBooks account, you'll need to give us access to sync the data. Once completed, you can go back. The button here will now become sync with QuickBooks so you can manually sync the data anytime you need to. Next, we will show you how to connect to Desktop. So change the dropdown to Desktop Confirm. Now, there are two things you need here, the password and the QWC file. Both of these will need to be opened and entered into the QuickBooks Web Connector. Now go ahead and open your QuickBooks for desktop. Click on file. Go down to update web services and open the web connector. Now once you get to the web connector, you need to copy that password here to the field. Make sure auto run is checked off and make sure the first box is checked off as well. And when you're ready, go ahead and update selected and the syncing will begin. The syncing may take long depending on how much data you have, but if you run into the issues, just let us know and we can further troubleshoot. Thanks for watching. Let us know if you have any questions.
