Let me show you how to use our most complete report, our all in one Sales and Profitability master report to accomplish different tasks with this one tool. This will allow you to monitor financials across multiple revenue centers in real time. In order to do this, what you need to do is simply enable all of the different filters that we have on the top. So, so you can select the way you want to view this. You can select different period of time. You can also select a specific date range. You can even do financial or fiscal year to date, or even do a specific date range, which is what I'm going to do in this example to gather more data so we can explore all of the different functionality and tasks that you can accomplish with this report. So I'm going to go into a very specific date range and then apply Also another thing here in order to get this information is by products, categories, subcategories. If you have products that have different modifiers or components inside the same product, like ingredients, you can also enable them so you can see them under the same report and view the profitability for them. And then you can even break it down by the stores or or locations, in this case. This way you can analyze service performance across categories, locations, and also time periods. So let me walk you through some of the tasks that we can accomplish using this report. So if you want to assess the demand for different types of products that are on different categories to adjust purchasing strategies, for example, you can group the rows based on the specific criteria and perform aggregation operations in the group data. So I'm going to come here and add the category. Now we can expand into all of the different new aggregated categories groups in here and we can see for the products that belonging to this category on all of these locations we can see all of the profitability information. Now I'm just simply going to rearrange the information to see the percentage of profitability of the products here on all of these new categories. So after I organize the information in here, what I can do is assess the profitability and with this criteria perform new operations according to information that I can see in here. So from here I can see you know, the product that is giving me the most profitability and I know that the quantity sold is very low. So I can start doing new campaigns to promote more of this product. Now, if I want to identify the most profitable product and the best sellers for each category under each location, I can also group here by location. Now we can see here that for every category, let's say for apparel, we can Go into each one of the locations, for example, Times Square, and we can see which one is the most profitable or the best selling product. I can also rearrange here with this specific column of quantity sold, and I can find the best sellers. Now, with this information, what I can do is maximize the sales potential for each one of the product categories on all of my locations. Now for the next tags, we're gonna use pivot mode. Now this is a functionality that will allow us to compare the sales data by each category on every location. So I just refreshed the whole table and what I'm going to do now is go into the PIP mode right here on the right side and simply enable it. Now, I can select here the information that I want to see for this table specifically. So I can select all of the different values that I want to have displayed on this on this new table and I can drag and drop here, for example, how I want this information to be aggregated. So here we have all the stores and now we're going to also select the categories. So I'm going to go into product information and with product information already grouped, what I can do in here is adjust pricing strategies according to, for example, the net sales of the previous year. So based on this, I can see the sales that are a little bit low and maybe change the price for this year. So I can see and then compare how much the sales have increased for those specific products on each location. Here I can also analyze the sales behavior of the customers on each one of the locations and see what product has been more successful in one location than in another. Perfect. Now for the next task. We're going to view all the information when searching an sku. When we search for an SKU here, there is a lot of information that can be seen from the same report. Now what I can do here is enable here on the box, the SKU and the barcode. Now with this information, I can simply go into the column of SKU and type the number of the product that I'm searching for. Now this way I can find the information for each one of them specifically, or I can even go into here and search for the ones that contain, for example, some certain numbers. Equal does not equal to or ends with. Right? So if there's like multiple SKUs that share like some certain numbers, I can use this specifically to find them and group them. Now with this report, you can transform raw data and turn it into actionable insights that can help the managers or anyone in your team to optimize operations and increase profitability for the products that you have listed right here. You can do a specific strategy for each one of them or even group them by a certain other category. For example, the quantity sold, as I said before, with the same filters that fit into some certain, certain range. Now for the next task, we're going to track merge modifiers and component products as we have seen before. For the cases of a cafeteria, restaurant or even a gift shop where you have products that belong to a final product, let's say a burger that has different ingredients or maybe T shirts that are being sold on different sizes, you might want to track the profitability and inventory information for those products as well. Now you can do that on the same report by using the advanced options as mentioned before, enabling the options to show merge, modifier, item, product variant instead of the main product and show the component name instead of the main product name. Now after this, you can also use these filters right here to find those specific products that belong into those categories. Let's say in this example ingredients and let's look at for example beverages, bar and drinks. And lastly, we're going to select also apparel for this specific modifiers in a gift shop. Now we can see the SKUs and the barcodes that apply into those specific cases. Maybe the ones for, you know, drinks don't include an SKU or, or a barcode as well. So all of them are can be seen in here. We can also see the profitability information, the products that are giving us the most, the highest profit, the quantity sold for each one of them. Maybe if it's a size on the T shirt, which size is selling is not having a lot of sales in this, in this specific case, right? We can also see the discounts that are being applied, tax information. And if we scroll all the way to your right, we can also see the inventory information for the start and end quantity for them. So this report will also allow you to keep track of the inventory for these modifier products or even the component products as well. Now if you also want to keep track of this, but it's getting a little bit difficult for you to see this information. There is also other functionality in this report. For example, expanding this right to see all of the full name, right? In this example, the name, the hoodie and the size and the color, right? So we can expand this so we can see all of this information and we can also pin this column. So when we scroll all the way through, you know, the rest of the information we can clearly see, you know, what is the product that has this profitability information so we can analyze this properly. The next task is going to be related with the vendors so we can also see the vendor information in their profitability of the sales and performance of the products that are purchased by each one of the vendors on this report. So in order to do this, I'm going to go back here and refresh, going to select all of the different categories. And now what I'm going to do here is have the vendor information. I'm going to show first the ones that have here the sales information. And I'm going to also pin this column so we can view it very clearly with, you know, with the products. Then I can also organize by the best selling products for each one of the vendors. So here I can see H and M and London accessories, right? Or I can even group the information by, by the vendors on each one of the stores. So let's see for example on Coca Cola, right, the grocery store and the beverages that have, you know, the, the products and the profitability of these products. According to Defender, this will allow me to also have better margins also to negotiate cost according to the profitability information for these products that are being sold on each one of the stores. Now the next task is going to be find items not meeting the margin goals. In order to do this, I'm going to reset these specific table that I already had here. And what I'm going to do now is find each one of the products that are not meeting the margin goals. In order to do this, I'm going to pin the column of the product, organize it so I can see clearly the name of the full product. And then what I can do is go into the net margin and use here the option with the three lines. In here I can find the products that are less than. And now we can go into one by one and see for example the location of each one of them. Now here I can do, I can also see the quantity sold for each one of them. Hence the net, the net margin percentage or the ones that have a really high quantity sold but the net margin is, is really low. So in this case what I can do is negotiate the pricing or view what other type of strategies I can use or maybe even remove that product is if it's given me a margin that's so low or doing some sort of like marketing campaign to promote this products even more so they can reach the level that I need to on my margins. Next tasks will be getting insights for revenue adjustments and discount performance. Now in order to do this, we're going to view the columns specifically for sales performance on the sales net of refunds. I'm going to simply go back and refresh the whole, the whole table in order for us to work on a new analysis. Now the sales net of refunds allow managers to get insights into revenue adjustments, ensuring accuracy and financial reporting. Now for specific products that had any sort of discounts, seasonal discounts or things that were being promoted lately, we can easily find them with the search bar. Here we have all these different case products, products we know there were some sort of discount and here we can see exactly what was the performance on these specific financials. Right now the net sales will complement also this analysis by providing a clear view of the total revenue generated, giving managers an overview of the organization sales performance during these seasonal discounts. Now let's clear up this information that we have here previously. And now we're going to go into the next, the next task which is going to be view taxes by category under one report. So now let's say, let's suppose that you would like to see the aggregated information of the taxes for each one of your locations on all of your locations. So for this we're going to go into the advanced options and you can simplify this report by the categories or subcategories in this case for, you know, the tax information. After we have pulled this, the next thing that you can do is group this by locations. Now once this is done, you can group here by categories with this filter and then we can see every single category. And if we expand here, we can see the categories that are assigned into all of these locations. So all of these locations include beverages. Then we can do the same thing for bouquets or cakes and things like that. So we can go into one each one of them to see the summary of all of them. Now I'm gonna come here, pin this column and I'm going to go into the tax, so we can see the summary tax information for each one of them. And if we expand it, we can see it by each one of the locations. Or you can just have it leave it, or you can just leave it for the group the one for all of them here. Now the next tasks will be monitoring expenses and identify cost saving opportunities. So in order to do this, what I'm going to do is simply have the information for each one of the products. So I'm going to go here and even break it down again by the products. I'm going to pin this specific column and I'm Going to rearrange this information by the majority of quantity sold so we can analyze these expenses for the most selling products. So with total cost and average cost, managers can accurately track operational metrics. Now they can monitor expenses and identify cost saving opportunities. So you can find the products that have an average cost that is for example, greater than and have any certain specific cost date and range that you would like to avoid. So you can find these products specifically and then see a way to minimize that or find another vendor that can give you a better cost so it's not greater than that specific one. Now if we keep scrolling to your right, we can move on to another task that we have discussed a little bit earlier. So it's analyzing the previous year sales compared to this year sales. Now, this is going to give managers valuable context to allow the organization a way to track growth over time. This will give insights also on current trends of the previous year and also this year. And also be able to anticipate future demand. For example, with the quantity sold percentage of change between the the two years. You can also compare figures sales figures from the previous year with the net sales percentage change in the net sales of the previous year. Now, it's not all about identifying areas for improvement or also the changes or the trends between the two years. Managers can also get insights about the contribution of each product to the overall sales and expenses with the percentage of quantity sold and the percentage of total cost. Now with this, managers can optimize many offerings and pricing strategies for the next year. The next task is going to be related to the inventory information. Let's say that you would like to review cost and negotiate better deals with the information of last cost price, average retail price. You will be able to negotiate better deals with the suppliers for each one of the products and also maintain profit margins. So let's say that you consider there is a potential saving opportunity as you review the last cost price data. And also you can analyze, you know, different competitive prices for menu items. And this way ensure the profitability while remaining attractive to the customers. So you can adjust this menu price based on the average retail price that is showing the data and strike a perfect balance between the profitability and also the customer satisfaction. This will also be able to be analyzed with the start quantity and end quantity so you can see how much was this product being purchased according to the new cost strategy and saving opportunity if the quality changed something about, you know, these products being more sold more or less according to this specific data. Lastly, managers can use this report and these columns to prevent a loss of revenue, you can validate the total retail value and see if it's greater than the total asset value for each one of the products. And pull this report to audit this data for every single location and categories as well. Lastly, the last column that we have here is related to the vendor revenue. So if one of your goals, and that will be one of our last tasks to go through, this report is maintaining strong relationship with vendors and increase the profits, this last column will allow you to view this information. For example, you want to maximize profitability, that's the main goal. But you also want to maintain strong partnerships with the vendors and they have a certain requirement of return of, let's say 85%. 80% of the product Sales revenue to the vendor can also possess several challenges to the profitability. So, so with this report you can leverage the profitability of the vendor revenue share and the margin net of revenue share columns that can help you achieve this goal. Another feature that we have here is using GL accounts. So let's say that you also have certain departments that can also have different products assigned in a different way, not just only by categories. Well, with this filter right here, you can also find the products and get all of that same profitability information to that specific department, which in this case is going to be consignment. Again, all of the same information will be seen as we have seen previously. And you can do the same analysis for that specific department and for everyone in your team to gather this data much easier. Now this is a report that is not only to view the data, but you can also create something more visually attractive for any sort of like meetings or board meetings as well in order to prepare a report. Right? So from this same report you can use other tools that can allow you to create and customize charts directly from here instead of using a different tool, let's say Excel or anything else you can to have this information displayed. So let's say we're going to use the product information, let's say category, we can do our best selling categories. Now we're going to pin this column and we're going to go straight into the quantity sold. So we can go here and find what are the best profitable bestsellers of these specific categories throughout all of our locations. So I'm just going to drag and drop the area that I want to create this report. And we can do different things like a column, bar, pie or line column grouped. And now we can see this information right here. We can see for each one of the Categories with the net profit and the quantity sold for all of them. Now there's other things that we can do. We can see this in different views. There is options for everyone, right? There is also the pie chart. So we can see this maybe a little bit more clear. We can go into each one of them, right, to have more information. Also there is different, you know, colors and options for everyone to see this report, right? As a line graph as well, statistical combination of both. Well, absolutely everything that you would like to create directly from here. Now there is also a way to keep adding more information if you missed anything that you want to see in here. Maybe you want to add the total cost or the quantity sold of the previous year to do like a competitive sales chart from the previous year and this year when you're starting the new fiscal year. And with the format you can even add a title, right? And say this is going to be, you know, the best selling categories for the previous, for this year or the previous year, right? And simply add it in here. Now once you have this report and have it configurable and customized to all of your preferences, you can easily copy this report. You can download it and copy and paste it on your email, for example, just in quick ways where you can just simply check on it directly from, you know, exporting it the chart from here. Last but not least, this is a report that as we know, it's very important. So one of the things that will help everyone to have the information before a board meeting is having this email scheduled to their emails, right? So after you create a report, you can enable the title, the frequency, let's say, you know, know this is a monthly report that everyone needs to get on the very first of every month at 9am before the meeting or maybe even the day or the week before, let's say, or the Friday before that monthly meeting. So everyone can review it and have time to check it up before discussing it. You can set that up with the time and frequency that you need to and add different email addresses so everyone can have it. You can also save the report. So then you can go into safe reports and have a quick view instead of going through all the filters. You can also print it, export it, and here with this icon right here, you can select the information that you need. Let's say if this is something just related to, you know, a cafeteria, maybe you won't need the barcode, right? Things like that. So you can simply check, you know, all the boxes that you need to have on the report and view all of the information that you need.
