SalesVu Cloud POS, ECommerce, and Inventory Improvements, October 2015

SalesVu updated its cloud POS system with redesigned email receipts, online tipping controls, and inventory improvements. New features include immediate stock deduction after online orders, partial purchase order receiving, and finer-grained access permissions for staff.
Hi. In this video I'm going to show you the latest changes that we've made to the web management portal. So we changed the way the emailed receipt and invoice look like. You can see the emailed receipt on the left side and the invoice on the right side. And you can also notice that we added an option where the customer can leave you some feedback. In the emailed receipt, they can either choose a good or bad experience. Once they made their choice, they can also leave you a comment. This feedback will be sent to the account owner or the email address that gets notifications about closed orders. This can also be found in the order detail. Now, when the admin logs into the SalesVU account, they can see a progress bar. This will help you see how close they are to being fully set up. We also made a couple changes to the ecommerce feature. Now you can choose what zip codes you want to deliver to. So if I want to buy something, I need to make sure that my zip code is in your area. If it isn't, I will get this error message. Another new feature that we've added is the ability to tip online. After I've filled out my information and selected the payment option, I will be asked to leave a tip. If I don't want to leave a tip, I can simply skip this option. You can enable tipping under Payment Options and you can also set up different zip codes for delivery under Delivery Preferences. The inventory feature also got some improvements. The inventory is now deducted immediately after an online order has been made. For an even more accurate inventory tracking, we added new inventory access levels. Previously you were able to completely deny the access to the inventory for certain employees. However, now this setting is more granular. You can notice that you can deny some employees viewing the inventory, adjusting it, doing anything with the purchase orders, setting up the threshold setting, managing vendors, looking at the inventory adjustment report, doing inventory transfer, or looking at the profitability report. We've made some changes to the purchase orders as well. Now we have the option to only partially receive a purchase order and receive the rest later in this purchase order. We already received these two items and these we're still waiting for. We also added the option to indicate shipping address if there is multiple options in your business when the purchase order is fully received. You will see the date and time of this in this column. That is new as well. If you want to export your purchase orders, you can do it by purchase orders where you can see one purchase order as one row and all its details, or by products where you can have all products listed as individual rows. If you're keeping track of vendor account numbers, you can enter that in the newly added field in the vendor management feature. I hope this video helped, and if you have any questions, please let us know.
