SalesVu lets you start an order on one iPad and pick it up on another. Enable Safe Fire to create a new order each time you save, add items across devices, and watch changes sync back automatically. The portal controls which devices can process orders.
Safe Fire (enable under gear → More Settings)
Today we're going to show you an overview of the cross device sync feature. So Here we have two different iPads set up next to each other. The first thing you want to do is try to find out what the name of each device is. This is important if you have a lot of devices connected to your account. Now go to the gear icon and go down to more settings. Make sure Safe Fire is enabled. This will allow the app to create a new order each time you save and fire the ticket. Now we'll go ahead and start an order on one iPad by adding two items, we'll save it. And then on the other iPad, we'll go ahead and try to locate the order. Now we'll go ahead and open the order and we'll add a third item and save it. Now, using this feature, it will sync back the data to the original iPad as well. And that's it. So now you can continue saving, firing the ticket until you're ready to pay out the order. Now, using the SalesVU portal, you can enable which devices are going to be enabled for processing.
