Learn how to combine multiple open orders in SalesVu POS. Select orders in the Orders view, use Merge, assign a customer, and confirm. If orders have credit-card pre-authorizations, remove the pre-auth from orders you don't want to charge before merging.
Today we're going to show you how to merge orders on the SalesView POS. First, we'll start our brand new order by attaching a customer. We'll add a few items to the order and save Fire the Ticket. The ticket that we just saved will now become an Open order. Touch on the orders icon to view all your open orders. Then touch on the merge option on the top right and select any Open orders that you would like to combine. When you're ready, touch on Continue and assign the customer that will be on the Open order. You will then receive a confirmation that the merge has been completed. If you have multiple orders with a credit card pre authorized, you will need to remove the credit card on the order that you do not want to charge. Go back to the orders icon and locate the Open order. Once the order is open, scroll to the far right and tap on the pre auth icon. Then confirm that you would like to remove it. Now you may go back and merge your open orders. Thanks for watching. Let us know if you have any questions.
