SalesVu iPad POS at Dolce Vita

Hi, I'm Marissa and I'm one of the managers here at Dolce Vita in Austin, Texas. We are a restaurant during the day and a bar at night. We used to run the business on an old POS system until we started using SalesVU. Now I can simply log into my salesvu.com cloud account from anywhere in the world and manage the entire business. I can create new products and modifiers and make them appear automatically on our iPad. POS Station modifiers are awesome because we sell so many different varieties of coffee drinks throughout the day. SalesVu makes it easy to add an extra shot or almond milk to any coffee drink for an additional charge. We have definitely increased our sales because of SalesVu. It reminds employees to always upsell at night. The best feature is that we can open an order on one of the iPads and sync it automatically to all the other devices. That way our waiters can use SalesVU on an iPod touch and go to each customer to add more food and drinks to their tabs. They can even split the check among several customers. Food items will print to the kitchen while drinks will print to the bar. Tips can be entered directly on the device when the customer swipes his credit card, or they can be adjusted later if the customer writes the tips and signs on a paper receipt. One of the great things about SalesVu is that it never goes down like other POS systems. If the iPad breaks, we can download all of our products on another iPad or ipod within minutes. The best thing about SalesVU is that I don't even have to be in the store to know what's going on. SalesVue.com allows me to see what is selling in real time. I can break down sales by category, by product, by hour, by employee, and even by POS terminal. I can also view what is left in inventory, see employee labor reports, and even specific times when each employee is logged in and out. Lastly, all of our sales are exported to QuickBooks, which saves me so much time that I would have spent otherwise doing accounting. I love SalesView.
