SalesVu Technical Support walks through their iPad POS system built for vape shops. The tutorial covers employee login, product selection, payment processing, inventory control, and shift management.
This video will cover how to use SalesVu for your vape shop. On the login screen you have your different employee profiles. Your employees can clock in and out from here, like so clocked in successfully, they can log in with the PIN number. You'll see at the top, the employee's name of who is logged in at the top left of the screen. Here we have our different categories of products. When we click on the categories, you see the product skus get curated down here. At the bottom you can have as many different products used as you want. Bape Shop reference have quite a few. There's no problem. It's scrollable list and you can have additional levels of categories as needed. We select a product, we can have this modifier menu that pops up so you can modify the products based on size, nicotine strength. You can have value added to these selections. If necessary, we can modify the quantity and if you make a mistake, simply left swipe. If you need to make any notes on here, you can add a special request and you'll see that on the ticket. If you want to add a customer to this order and you're using the CRM module, press on Customers. You can have an unlimited list of customers. Again, if you are subscribed to this module. All you need to do is select the customer from the dropdown and press Select. You can also create a new customer profile right here. Add Dominic Cruz through this order. We'll see by pressing this plus icon that his email is attached to this. When we click Pay, we'll have our different payment options on the screen. Credit card, gift card, etc. We'll just do cash. So since we had Dominic's email information when we attached his profile to the order, it populates here and we can simply send him an automatic email receipt. Click Done and the order is processed. Your employees can clock in and clock out whilst somebody else is logged in as well. So Carlin needed to log in. She could do so just with her PIN number and Ian can continue processing the order. At the end of the day, press the piggy bank icon and you can manage the shifts. We'd have all the different types of payments that we receive via different payment methods. You can manage cash from here. If you have to take out some cash, coffee, make a note of that. This functionality of course is customizable based on who is logged into the system. So if you don't want certain employees to be able to access these features, you can lock them out of it. You can do your deposit to the safe from here and you can close out the shift. So that's how you use the Sales View iPad app for Vape Shops. Next we'll cover the web portal under Features. You'll see all of the different functionality that you've activated depending on the modules that you have subscribed to. Under Products and Services. This is where you can customize your product list. The SalesView onboarding team will assist you with this. We simply require you to upload your product list after you subscribe and you do that under Features and Dashboard. And this will be clickable and you can upload multiple files here containing all your product lists, prices and names, as well as your inventory levels. In the future, if you do need to customize this, you can enter here at any time. Let's say we wanted to edit this product. Just click Edit. You can change the price, maybe like that, edit the description if you want, and simply click Save. Once that's done, that product is updated and all you need to do is sync your iPad for it to reflect on the iPad device. You can also manage the categories from here. If you wanted to add a new category or change the name of an existing category, you can do that here. Once again, once you sync the iPad, the update will show on there in the Inventory module. This is where you can view and adjust your inventory, place purchase orders with your vendors, update your vendor list, view your adjustment report, and you do your inventory adjustment either with the iPad or with the web portal. You can look at profitability reports for cost of goods sold, profit margins on particular goods, et cetera. And you can also adjust out of stock settings. So this is where you can modify what happens when you run out of a product on E Commerce on the point of sale, or if you're using some sort of kiosk arrangement. Under the Employees module, this is where you can modify the access levels to different functionality on both the web portal and on the payment device, and you modify it by simply toggling. Yes or no. Employee Module will also handle all of your employee scheduling as well as labor reporting. You can even have commissions calculated on sales made by your employees, and you can set that up under the compensation section. If you're selling online, you could use the web Store and Facebook Store module. We will help you configure this. You can sell either directly on your website or you can use the townview free online E Commerce application. If you're using the townview page, it's going to look something like this. So you'd have your company name here about your products. Add the shopping cart here and simply add products to the cart can modify the size just as we can on the iPad and the strength you'll see this item is currently out of stock. Click Add to cart and proceed to checkout. Once here, your customers will be prompted to log in and you can continue and process the payment. Once that payment is processed, you'll see it immediately appear on the order screen on the iPad and also on the order screen on the web portal.
