SalesVu 6.9 adds two employee controls: lock the cash drawer to whoever's logged in, and hide product categories from specific employee groups. Both features tighten accountability and access on your POS.
Hi. Today we're going to show you new employee features including SalesV 6.9. We now have the ability to lock the cash drawer and SalesVoo app to the employee that's logged in. To lock the cash drawer, touch on the Gear icon and then touch on login Cash Drawer. This action will lock the POs and the physical cash drawer to the employee that's logged in. This feature was built along with the new Individual Employee Report to help with accountability. When another employee attempts to log into the app to process a transaction, they will receive an alert stating that the app is already locked. At this point, the original employee can either unlock it or decline for the next new feature. We now have the ability to hide categories from your employees from the SalesU dashboard. Click on Employees and then manage Groups. First create your groups and then assign the employees of your choice into the group. Now on the next step, click on the drop down and select Employee Restricted Categories. When creating a new restriction, choose the group of your choice and then choose the name of the categories that you want to hide.
