SalesVu POS - Auto Close Out

In this video we will show you how to set up the Auto Close Shift feature on the POS app. Closing the SalesVU shift report can now be done automatically. When we access the Shift report by tapping on the Piggy bank icon, you will see a message that will let you know at what time the shift will be closing out automatically. This feature is extremely helpful if you would like to save time in your day to day activities or or in case the staff forgets to close the shift manually. The only things that your staff have to do is manage cash at the beginning of the day and deposit to save before the shift closes out. After this, the shift will close out automatically at the time that it has been configured. In this example, it'll close out at 11:15am when we go back to the shift report, you'll see that all the data has been restarted and everything went back to zero to start a new shift. If you configured multiple closing times, the message at the top will let you know when the ship will be closing out again. To configure this feature, sign into salesvue.com click on settings and click on General Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see two settings. First enable Auto Close Shift on pos, then configure the shift timings. These will be the times when you'd like your shift to close out. If your business has multiple shifts throughout the day, you can keep adding more times by clicking on the plus icon.
