How to set up an Ingenico ICMP card reader with SalesVu POS using Evo Payments. Charge the device via micro-USB, enable Bluetooth on your iPad, pair by entering the PIN, then process transactions by ringing items and swiping or inserting cards.
Okay. In this video, I'm going to show you how to use the Ingenico device that we use to process payments with EVO payments. When you're using SalesVU, battery powered, it will last for quite a while. Connects via Bluetooth to the iPad. If you do need to charge it, there's a charging port on the side, uses a micro USB and it comes with this. You simply plug it in like so and you'll see it charge. So the first thing you're going to want to do is turn the device on. Do that by pressing the power button here on the side and you're going to see BT pairing required, which is Bluetooth pairing. And you'll see iOS, which is the one we're going to use and standard. If this doesn't show up, you can simply press the F button four times and it will create this prompt. First thing we're going to do before this though is go to our iPad, turn on the Bluetooth, and then we're going to select iOS by pressing F1. You see we have our device name here, which is the name of this iPad. We're going to press the green button and now we have the prompt to enter the pin. The PIN you will see here at the bott. Now we see the device up here and it shows that it's connected and you'll see this prompt on the device. So when we want to process the transaction through evo payments with SalesVu, what you're going to want to do is ring in an item, press pay and press credit card. You can either enter a tip or no tip. You'll see this on the screen and then you'll see the device say please slide or insert. If there's not a chip card like this one, just going to slide it on the top like so and it's accepted. It'll go to the signature screen on the iPad. Simply sign, press done and the transaction is approved. Next, we'll do a chip card again. We'll enter a price, we'll hit pay credit card again and again. You'll see this automatically appears on the device. To slide, tap or insert the card, take the card, insert it like so, and you select either debit or Citibank card. Press enter, confirm the purchase. So F1.3s, it's approved. Again, we sign on the screen.
