In this YouTube short, the creator (identified as Steven) initiates a spontaneous street cold‑approach with a woman. He opens by questioning her English proficiency, then compliments her appearance and guesses her nationality (Malaysia) based on her tan. He continues with light‑hearted teasing about her English name, offers reassurance that he isn’t trying to “steal” anything, and shifts to a more relaxed tone. He asks for her Instagram, comments on the beetroot drink she’s holding, and ends the exchange politely. The clip showcases a sequence of typical cold‑approach tactics—initial curiosity, flattery, cultural speculation, social‑media request, and a quick exit.

Excuse me. Sorry, speak English? You don't speak English? Only a little bit? You don't speak English? A little bit? You speak great English. I saw you and then you look cute. So I want to come say hi. Who? You. I saw you and you look cute. Oh, thank you. Right? So I want to come say hi. Okay. Yeah. Hi. What's your name? You have an English. You say you don't speak English. How come you have an English? I think you're lying. You're obviously lying. I mean, you have an English name and then you're just like, the way you pronounce things, just like, you're just lying to us. Don't worry, I'm not trying to steal anything. I'm not trying to like do anything crazy. I just saw you and you're like, maybe because you're suspicious, you're like, oh, I need to pretend that I don't speak English, right? I'm Steven. I'm not from Bangkok, obviously, you know. So yeah, I mean, if I was from Bangkok, I would have spoken to you in Thai. Why? Where are you from? What do you think? Malaysia. Malaysia? Why Malaysia? I don't know, you look like— I like a tan skin. I'm like more tan than you. You see, like, I'm like really tan. It's like you're just walking super fast, but something about your energy, it like stood out to me. At first you were kind of like— and now you're kind of like warming up. Are you on Instagram? Yeah. Can you open your Instagram? You're drinking something like— is this like a tomato juice or something? Grape juice? Beetroot. Beetroot. Have a great day. Thank you. All right, see you. See you. Bye.
