In this short monologue, the speaker recounts how they once imagined dating as a fairy‑tale scenario where a perfect partner appears effortlessly, like in a Disney movie. When that fantasy didn’t materialise, they felt discouraged and decided to stop waiting for love to be handed to them. Over the next 16 years they embarked on an intensive, self‑directed study of attraction and dating, traveling to more than 30 countries and directly approaching roughly 15,000 women. Their drive stemmed from a desire to avoid being hurt again, and the experience transformed them into a dating coach who now helps countless people create deep, meaningful connections spontaneously.

I'd always perceived the idea of dating someone kind of like a Disney movie. You meet your love of your life in university, in your social circle, everything just handed over to you on a silver platter. When that didn't happen, I was very down about all of this. And then at a certain point, I realized that, you know what, why do I have to just like sit back and wait for something to happen? I actually want to learn about this attraction, relationships, dating, all of that stuff. Over the following 16 years, I went on a journey. This journey has taken me to over 30 countries. I ended up approaching 15,000 women in the process. I can't even believe that I took that much action. And everything was really driven by my desire to not be hurt again. And at the same time, teaching countless people to create their deep meaningful connection spontaneously.
