In this informal coaching video, Sean Buttner discusses his personal "experiment" approach to life, highlighting recent health experiments such as intermittent fasting and in‑home personal training, as well as business experiments like group coaching and new marketing tactics. Foreign. Everyone, this is Sean Butner with start your morning and week with the coach Today. What we're talking about is this idea of experimenting with your life. So before we get started, if you're joining me for the first time or returning, stop. Say, hey, if you do run experiments in your life. And I'll get into what that means here in a second. But feel free to put that down below you're watching this video to just inspire other people. So your cool idea of, of things that you're experimenting with could inspire others to do the same. So offer that up. So. All right, so experiments in your life. It's one of my favoritest and fun things that I love to do. And more recently I'd started some health stuff, so. So I had started intermittent fasting and I had started with a personal trainer that's actually like they work with you in your home with the equipment you have. So I have that right after this video. So why is it this fun? Because, you know, if. All right, just kind of waking up still too. Okay. I put on some weight over the years and haven't really been able to counter it. And it's frustrating because I used to run marathons, used to work out like a machine, used to, you know, be very athletic. And I thought that a year ago when I left my corporate gig, which was a two hour commute each way during the week, that that would free up more time and it's helped stabilize my weight. But I haven't lost the stuff that I gained. So I figured like when I did marathon training, it was more of an experiment of like, could I do this? Or when I started playing music, it's like, can I go and sing in front of people? Right. This idea and mindset of I'm gonna test this out and see what happens has really pushed and fueled my personal growth in a lot of different ways. So sometimes it's just time to try some new things and see what works and see what doesn't work. And that's kind of what I sticking with because I had heard all this stuff about intermittent fasting. I know that sometimes you need a little bit of a social accountability thing if you're going to be working out. You tend to do really well in like team sports where you have somebody yelling at you, but not so good when it's just up to me. And maybe you're like that too. But. So there's health experiments. I have some business experiments with some marketing stuff. Try. I'm sure if you've been following me, you've been hearing about my group coaching, so trying to figure that out and offer that and create a lot of value for you good folks. So. But that's that. I just wanted to do a really quick update and ask you, what are you experimenting with? Is it something in your career? Is it something in your health and well being? Are you trying meditation or are you trying, you know, to walk a bit more outside? Are you, you know, what's going on there? Or are you trying different things at work on how to become even more effective, get more productive, add more value in your organizations or your market, or you trying different things with your, your personal relationships? Are you trying to, you know, that new cool date night and doing things outside of just Netflix and pizza, you know, so just wanted to offer that up to you guys. So hope you're thinking about that this week. You know, where can you start some experiments? Where can you start shaking it up, trying to figure out better ways to do things and just see what happens right? Not be tied to will this succeed, but more of what can I learn here? Because I think that's where the sweet spot is of growth. And you know, the whole catchphrase of this thing that I'm trying to do is to help people find more joy, growth and impact in their communities. So I offer that up. I hope you guys enjoyed this really quick video to go get to my workout. And I hope you have a great weekend if you're watching that now. And see you next week. Take care, guys.
