Sa. It. All right. Good morning, everyone. Welcome to start your day. Great. Start your day with of a couple coach. I am your certified high performance coach, Sean Butner. And today it's our weekly reflection. So before we get into that, I just wanted to say if you're watching this, please do the social media thing like share, subscribe this with 3 of your friends so that we spread the word and start to build up this awesome community with more people like you because you guys are what make this whole thing work. So now every week, the weekly reflection, the Friday reflection show is always about asking ourselves three questions to process this week and get us set up for next week so we can hit it hard. We can go out there and crush it. And so with that in mind, it's also the beginning of June. So it's roughly the halfway point through the year. You know, we're getting to that zone. And so before we get into that, let's take a maybe a further look back and start thinking about how have you been this year? How clear have you been on your objectives, on your ambitions, on your goals? On a scale of 1 to 10, you know, 10 being crystal clear, super focused, super on it, and one being like, I wake up and just stuff happens to me, right? And it's good to write this score down as you score yourself and think through, like, how well have I been connected to who I am authentically in making decisions out in the world? Because that's another part of clarity. It's acting within your own integrity and knowing what to do and the right thing to do based on your value, right? So on a scale of 1 through 10, how clear have you been? And then, you know, going down, you know, how energetically have you showed up so far in 2022? Have you had the physical vibrancy, the zest, the mental capacity, the emotional capacity, the spiritual energy to go out there and really make happen what you need to have happen, to keep motivated, to keep feeling healthy and keep moving forward or not. Have you been distracted and not really focused on making sure that you're taking care of your body and taking care of your sleep or taking care of getting enough water? All the basics that we do to keep our physical vibrancy up, which impacts our mental, emotional, and spiritual energy? So on a scale of 1 to 10, how energetic have you been this year? 10 again, being like, you are liquid fuel. You're always doing stuff. You're crushing it. You got tons of energy bubbling out in one. Being like, you dead fish pretty much. So think about that think about how you've been showing up for your ambitions, how have you been taking bold action towards the things that are important to you? How have you been addressing head on things that are uncomfortable or things you'd rather not deal with? How have you been expressing yourself to those around you, your friends, your family, your co workers, your boss. And just very vulnerably sharing how you feel in order to foster understanding, in order to make sure that you know you don't have that. Those types of things, the things that you're avoiding, the things that you're holding back, prevent you from playing fully into your ambitions. And so on a scale of 1 to 10, you've been courageous, you've been sharing, you've been vulnerable, you've been open, or you have been turtled up in your house without sharing anything and suffering alone. And nobody should have to do that. And if that's a huge thing, of course, go see a therapist, right? Like there are people that are trained to deal if you're feeling super, super closed down in that regard. But yeah. Rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 on courage then. Productivity. Have you been doing your life's work or busy work? Have you been focused and on task or have you been distracted? You know, on a scale of 1 to 10, how productive have you been in the last six months? And really think about if you were to take the last two weeks, how productive have you been? Have you been able to keep focused and moving things forward? Or have distractions in life and world circumstance freaked you out so much where you can't do the work, you can't get focused. And this is a really important one too. And all these, you know, as you rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great, 1 being not so much. It's a diagnostic, right? So if you're like, ah, I'm a two here, I'm a three here, I'm a five here, right? It's not to say, oh, and I suck, right? It's to say, oh, okay, here's the baseline. What do I have to do to bump that up? You know, so how productive have you been? And if you haven't been productive or you have had a low score so far this year in these four categories and the fifth one, I'll share here in a second now, you know, right? Here's the beauty of it. Like you can now say, okay, it's been six months. It's not going to be six months in a day. You can say, it's been six Months. It's not going to be six months in a week. Things are going to change now for me and I can go and make that happen. So, yeah. So how productive have you been? And then finally, you know, how have you been on your people skills? How have your relationships been? How have. Do you have people that support you? Do you ask for things when you need help? Are you leading effectively in your work environment, in your home environment and your community? And that's all about, are you able to persuade people into action? Are you able to move people into action? Right? It's not about, like Jedi mind tricks and, you know, do you feel bad about persuading people? Right? That's something that could drag this score of it down. So 10, you feel fully supported. You feel like you have a good grasp on how you communicate and getting people on board with your ideas or doing that dance when you can, you know, have a tough conversation but find a better solution through that, you know, are you a 10 or one on that? And again, for each of these, as you're thinking about this last score and your scores so far, you know, think about, how could you bump it out? You know, are there reasons why it's necessary for you to improve your level of clarity this year, right? Is it you have to get more abundance for your family, or is it you have to really figure out how to quit burning out? Because it's been a tough couple of years, right? And maybe you're not just dealing with the, the weight and the drain and the tears from this past six months. It's the last two years, you know, so how could you bump that up? Why is it necessary for you to let go of the burnout? Why is it necessary for you to, you know, advance or shift your career? Why is it necessary for you to improve your energy every day so you show up more vibrant, more happy, more alive, more engaged and more present in the world? You know, is it to role model for your kids? Is it because you have to do that big deal in your business and your energy is going to make it or break it, right? You know, it's really hard to get excited about a new product, a project proposal, when you talk like you're about to fall asleep, right? Have you ever been in those meetings? I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. So why is it necessary to improve that? Why is it necessary to be more vulnerable and more communicative of your needs or how you need support or your ideas out in the business or the world? How is that going to change the course of maybe your company or change the course of a relationship that's important to you? Because we often don't think about why things need to change. We. A lot of times, and I'm guilty of this myself, you know, you can say, oh, it's just a busted system. It's just, that's how they are. You know, we tell ourselves these excuses to help us avoid actually doing the thing that's going to make things better. So why is it necessary for you to up your productivity for the rest of this year, to really kick it into gear here in June? And so July, August and September are awesome because you did the work today. And why is it necessary for you to be able to communicate better, to be able to move people into action better? Is that going to be better, you know, impact for your social causes or your business? Or is it going to be more impact in that relationship with your kids? You know, these are, you know, this idea of why is it necessary to improve is proven to really help with motivation, to help with change, to help make sure you're more resilient as you march forward. So again, I encourage you to, you know, measure on a scale of 1 to 10, how clear you've been this past six months, how energetic you've been this past six months, how courageous and bold you've been this last six months, how productive and how much you've been developing your people skills the last six months. And why is it necessary to kick it into that next level? Right, because that's what I do as a high performance coach is constantly trying to help people kick it into that next gear. So with that said, guys. So like, like I said, it's the middle of the year. This is the time to assess. And you guys got this. I know if you all have been crushing it, you can always get to that next level. If you're like, yeah, I haven't really been paying attention to this area of my life, you can change it. I got, you know, it just takes awareness and it takes a little bit of that motivation and pull to make it happen. And I know you guys can do it, so. And if you do struggle with it, let me know too. This is what I. I help people with this all the time. So leave a comment wherever you're watching this and that would be helpful. So, okay, now let's get into the three questions we ask ourselves every Friday. This is our reflection habit that we go through every week on Friday here. And so first question is, you know, what went really well this Week. You know, can you think of in the last seven days a win that you had or something that you tried and it worked out as good or better than you expected? Right? Was that in business you tried to do your work in a different configuration, you tried a new software, you try a new sales process, you know, whatever it is, what did you. What went well? You know, was it having that conversation with your spouse about needing to move and now you guys are super jazzed and are actively looking? You know, it could be one of a bajillion different things, but, you know, what went well? What was an accomplishment? What did you win? And how can you incorporate it into how you feel right now in this moment? Right. So often we accomplish something, we move on to the next thing and we need to just slow down and take a breath and be like, oh, that was pretty cool, and keep that in mind and journal this. The second question we always ask is like, what didn't go as expected? Right. So I had this grand plan to do all this content in my business and it fell flat because. And this is more of just kind of an analyzing, you know, your experiments, right? We're all learning. And so it keeps you engaged in that learning mindset of like, I tried this. It didn't work. This, it felt like it was almost working. I'll tweak this going forward or, hey, definitely don't do that ever again. You know, sometimes those are really good lessons. And on the road to mastery, as we really try to show up as our best selves, there's going to be a lot of things that work out and we'll try to double down on those and there'll be a lot of things that we learn along the way not to do or to do differently. So going next, okay, third question is what are the three things to try or do differently next week? So hopefully, if you know what went well, if you know what didn't go well and how to maybe change it up next week, you have some ideas on double down on the good. Really try to fix something that didn't go quite as well for you. And, you know, what are three things that next week can carry your performance, can carry how you feel, carry your motivation forward next week. And that's the power of doing these three questions and these three questions every week. I hope you guys have been, you know, jotting stuff down and enjoyed this reflection process. This is a big reflection process. So, yeah, tell me what you like. Please do the social media thing, like, share, subscribe, Share this with three friends Again, get the word out that's helped build this community. I'd love to do that with you all. If you have any questions again, put them in the comments. I'd love to, you know, address those in future videos and celebrate y' all as we go forth and really start to build this June for an amazing finish of 2022, in spite of all the crazy things that are happening around us. Because, you know, it's how we respond to the world and the world needs each and every one of us to respond with kindness, with focus, with fire in our bellies, to put out our good and really, you know, change the areas around us. So with that said, if you need a little bit of personal help on that, since I am a high performance coach, below where you're watching this video or linked in my bio is a video called the six Secrets of Highly Performing Introverts. And it's six habits that anyone could really do. But you know, especially for geared towards the more introverted folks out there on how to really up your performance. But more importantly, at the bottom of that video training page when you sign up is an application for a free one on one strategy session with me where we go through your life and we tailor a plan for you. So in that hour we'll go over some high performance principles, some high performance habits, so there'll be actionable things for you to do after that call. People absolutely love this because it gets you thinking about your life in a slightly different way. And you know when you can have that discovery or you can have that oh, I can improve here or and it's actionable, you know, there's transformation and people are like, hey, this changed my life. And so we have that conversation. If we like each other, we think we, I think I can help you take it to that next level. Through that conversation we talk about coaching at the end, so just know that that's happening. But ultimately you walk away with a plan, with some breakthroughs, with some habits to act on and hopefully a sense of, hey, things can change for me and it's going to happen and here's you know, at least how I can get started. So I would love to do that all for you. So hit the link for the six Secrets of High Performing Introverts and then at the bottom of that page fill out that application to get the whole process kicked off. I'd love to do that for you. Have a great Friday, guys. Have a great weekend. We'll be back on Monday for Weekly Monday motivation to help us start the week with Fire. So hope to see you then. This is Sean Butter, until then, saying live with more joy, more personal growth and more impact in your communities. We'll see you guys next week. Take care.
