Your year is either being won right now or it's being lost. There is a battle for your future, your 2023, and so many people have already lost it. And so we don't want that to be used. So if you're aware what's going on, then we can make sure that 2023 is your biggest growth year. It's the year you have the most joy. It's the year you have the most impact in everything around you. Hey everyone, this is Sean Butner, certified high performance coach. And I'm so excited to be here with you, starting this year, out with you and hopefully catching you before you've lost the war for 2023. And what do I mean? I mean that for so many years myself, the new year would happen, you know, so you'd have a lot of family and friends and lots of food and drinks and all that kind of stuff and you kind of would decompress into January and then get into your work schedule and off you go. And that's fine. And you know, I did that for years. But there's a higher level of quality of life for us when we have more intention at the beginning of the year for what we're going to go after and we're thinking more strategically about holistically, what our life should be, how we want to feel this year, how we want to, you know, know our careers to be, how we want our relationships to feel and sound and support us, or how do we want our general well being and health. So thinking about different buckets of your life and getting really clear on what the big moves are, what is really going to help you move forward is super key at the beginning of the year. And what you're up against is what Little bit of habit, a little bit of routine, you know, this yearly cadence of start your new Year's resolutions and then go into, you know, doing those New Year's resolutions for two to three weeks in January, giving up and then moving into February and on you go. And what we want to do, and if you're someone like me who's watching this and believes in personal development, believes in growth, you know, what I think everyone wants in this world is joy, growth and impact. And forget that. The words on my hat, that's for Brent Burchard's words. But my words are joy, growth and impact. And I want to revisit that at the beginning of this year with you because I think most people want to be loved. They want a sense of adventure, a sense of fun, a sense of mostly Good emotions throughout the year. And not to say that you don't experience other things other than feeling happy or feeling excited or feeling inspired. But, you know, being able to recover from that really quickly is important. And people want to feel like they're progressing towards their goals. And the first thing that we do at the beginning every year is set these goals that are not inspiring, that are not there to compel us to act on them. And, and so again, we go through the, you know, first of the year kind of bust of going after for change in our life and stopping for many different reasons. And I feel like we all want to have impact with the people around us, with our works, with furthering our purposes, our causes, our missions. And so most people are trying to figure that out. And so if we know that that's what people want, and we know that your New Year's resolution is to, you know, get back into, you know, get better health, which is very generic, then there's a disconnect from, I want to get in the best half of my life by signing up for a marathon. Like, that's clear, that's distinct. I know what I'm going to do. I am inspired by that goal because I have never ran that in my life. And that's not true for me, but that's how I started when I ran my first marathon. It's like, oh, there's an excitement of can I even do this? You know, and figuring that out, which is really, really fun. So it's really important that we get this clarity part correct. And we get it correct early in January because it sets the tone for the whole year, doesn't it? So how do you then go forth and set that tone? Well, I hinted at it like you need to be planning and setting big goals for different areas of your life, but you also want them to be aligned, you know, so you want your career, your relationships, your health, your well being, to be working together towards that big goal for yourself and for me this year it's to grow the Meaningful Revolution. And the meaningful revolution to me is enabling people to live a life that they've built themselves and live into that more so that they experience joy, growth and impact. And we have this ripple effect around the world, right? That's the big crazy, lofty goal. And you know, for me, those, the measures that I'm going to be using to make that happen are podcast guests. So if you haven't checked out the Meaningful Revolution podcast, go to Apple Podcasts or check out my YouTube channel and you can see Some of these amazing interviews that I've been very fortunate and blessed to have conducted in the last six months, five months, ish, since August of 2022. And so interviewing people about what they're passionate about, you know, that was the little nugget for that. And I'm so proud of the work that we've accomplished, myself and the people that I've had in my network that have been so very willing to show up and help me out here. And it's a lot of fun. So go check that out if you haven't yet. But, you know, so it's going to be podcast guests. It's going to be making sure that I'm coaching people more on their dramatic transformation. So, like former clients who have, you know, figured out how to get more disciplined in their health or start that business that's helping people in need, you know, really the trauma, informed education type stuff, there's so many different ways the people that I've coached, you know, have really helped people. And that's a really good feeling. And it's not about me, it's about you. And it's about us doing this work together. And so that's another measure that I'm looking for in my meaningful revolution this year, is to help other people have their meaningful revolutions. And then third thing is to engage in the community more. So you'll be hearing me talk a lot more about this. I am not super strong at community building in that particular way online. You know, I tend to be, if I'm on Reddit or Facebook or Instagram, a lurker versus someone that's actively, like, getting people excited. That's just my personality. So. But that's not serving you. It's not serving our cause and our community. So this year, I really want the meaningful revolution to stand for that sense of agency over our lives, that we got this, that we can do this and we can do this together. I want it to feel like a sense of community, that we're creating this movement where we're putting out more positive energy out into the world and we're giving people reasons to not complain, right? So we're against that complaining type mentality. We're against, you know, the environment preventing us from taking action. We're for action. We're for putting out your sense of good, your. Your story, your knowledge, your. Your voice, your missions, your purposes. And so I'm really excited for that. I'm really to be focusing on that. So that said, you'll be hearing a little bit more in January about how you can get involved and started in that. But if you would, if you have been enjoying these videos, if you've been enjoying what we talk about, if there's something you wish that we would talk about or something cool that you're like, hey, I wish I had a community that helped me x reply back to the email that you got this video on or in the comments in YouTube, wherever you're watching this. And I'd love to hear from you. What is your meaningful revolution like, what is your dramatic transformation or your purposeful impact or that authentic movement that you have in your heart and you need to get it out in the world and we need to have that ripple effect of goodness out there where we are. We feel like we are the masters of our lives again. Because I feel like looking back this last year and the start of this year that so many people have forgotten this idea that we have agency. And if that's one thing that you walked away from this video or from any of my content with is that you are more capable than you believe, you can accomplish more than you think. And if we can work together as a group, whether it's with me or other people on the path of, you know, trying to, to make the world better, then awesome. And let's try to do it together. Let's encourage each other. Let's really get into it. And that's the video for today, guys. I'd love to hear what you'd love to talk about this year. What would make this space for you really special, how we can really have a meaningful revolution movement as we we get going. So just fortunate that you guys are here again. And comment below in the comments on YouTube or reply to the email if you get the newsletter. And we'll see you guys in the next video next week. And I'm switching this to be the Meaningful Monday series versus Motivational Monday. So keep an eye out for that change you now know. So I don't think most people care too much, but let me know if you don't don't want that to change too. Super, super cool. All right, guys, this is Sean Butner saying, go out there, live with more joy, more growth and more impact in your communities. We will be back to the regularly scheduled content on Mondays of helping you live into your meaningful revolution.
