#SYDWAC - Free Live Training Starts Today - End The Year Strong!

Shawn Buttner is launching a free three-day live webinar series called End the Year Strong, starting at 1 PM PST. He argues that how you finish December shapes next year's outcomes, and that December stress—family, grief, social pressure—needs acknowledgment, not suppression. Buttner shares how journaling and quiet reflection changed his own experience.

Sa. Hey, everyone. Welcome to start your day. Great. Start your day with the coach. I am your host, certified high performance coach Sean Butner. And I'm really excited to be sharing with you today that we're starting the End the Year Strong live series this afternoon. So I just wanted to make sure that you saw that and knew about it. And you can sign up by going to the link in my bio or checking out the link below this video, wherever you're watching this. So why do we need to end the year strong? And it's a good question. And I think after the past couple of years that we've had, like, so many people are like, I don't need more. But as a coach, it's my job to help challenge you, to push you into really get to your higher levels of productivity and performance. And it starts with the beginning of the year, right? And that's next month, right? We are December 1st here as I'm recording this. And so there's this theory in systems, right? So I'm a, you know, by education systems guy and information systems and all that stuff. So there's this term that I'm fond of that maybe you've heard called garbage in equals garbage out, which means that the inputs coming into a process, like let's say the next year, your next year's evolution, your next year's growth, your next year's success and achievement is a process. So if you have bad inputs going into that, then you're going to have bad outcomes from that process. So the whole idea of ending the year strong, which means not stressed, happy with your productivity, with a good, clear idea of what you want to go after next year and a good sense of what went great and what didn't go great this year is really going to have a profound effect on how your next year goes. So it's super important that we take December and we don't get stressed out by the family. We don't get stressed out by all the social obligations and parties that we have to go to that we don't get stressed out with not being happy with where we are in life or, you know, really stuck in the feelings of people that we might have lost this past year. You know, so there's a lot of emotions that can happen in December and it's okay to feel them and we should feel them and we should honor them. I'm not saying you should stuff it down. You know, I have, as someone of Irish descent, I have a family culture of stuffing down emotions and locking them really tight. Inside. But at the end of the day, it's all about being human. It's all about making sure that we're progressing right. Because when we lose that sense of progression, that's when we lose that sense of connected this with our lives, that we're doing something that's worthwhile. So that's what I'm hoping for. And that's why everyone should sign up for the three day free webinar series that starts at one o' clock Pacific standard time today. So that's why I think it's important. I usually, I used to really struggle at this time of the year because of being more of an introvert and having to travel back home to Chicago, you know, which I love. I love seeing my friends, I love seeing my family, it was always great. But dreading the travel, dreading the always having to be social. But when I figured out that for this period of time too, it's super important to be reflective and to double down on journaling, to double down on making quiet spaces while I'm home was a game changer. Right? So that's why I think this is super important on top of why I, I think as your coach, it's super important. So again, join me tonight. I'd love to see or today. Love to see you guys there again. It's free and it'll be fun. So there'll be some giveaways, some prizes. So definitely check that out. And if you sign up after day one, you still have day two and day three there. I won't recap the first day too much so there doesn't the webinar. The webinar series is designed to be individual days. This week I decided to try to give up caffeine and it might not have been the smartest move. So yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun. It's going to really help you get and nail this end of the year so that can start next year super strong. So. All right. That's all I have to say about that, guys. Thank you for your support as always. Thanks for everything. Right? You guys are why I do this. And when I can help someone, even just one person, it feels so great and feels like I'm on purpose. So the more I can help, the better. So do this social media thing. Share this if you would get the word out on the end of the year strong web series that I'm doing today and see you guys there. All right, take care.
