So you can build the life that you want. And today we are talking about generating enthusiasm and excitement in your day. So if you've ever. All right, totally had something goof up on me real quick. Technical problem. Okay, so maybe today you woke up, the alarm went off, your system slowly came online, or maybe you jumped out of bed and, you know, started your day. And in the first 15 minutes, did you feel like you were just going through the motions? Did you feel like you just wanted to go back to bed, that you were not looking forward to the workday or what the day had to bring, the commute, deal with the kids, dealing with whatever the job hunt, dealing with everything? Did you maybe get off on the wrong foot and you're grumpy and you just couldn't shake the feeling for the rest of the day? And if this is you or if this has ever been you, I'm going to guess that you didn't really take time in the morning to build up a sense of anticipation, of excitement, of full joy for your today. And so it's really just a lack of intentionality that's sapping your enthusiasm, sapping your excitement, sapping your zest for today and for life. So, you know, what if you could change this about yourself and start looking forward more to what you're going to do today and, you know, just plan on reaching a family member or sending a note of appreciation to someone, having something to look forward to that is generating and creating that sense of buoyant zest for life that I think everyone wants. So that's really the call to action today, guys, is have something that you're looking forward today. And if you have something, post that in the comments below this video so we can cheer you on as a community. But, you know, what are you looking for today? What? Could you send out a note of appreciation to someone to show them that you care? Right. Two really simple things that can help you get to that next level. And you know, for me, I have a morning process where I'm journaling in the morning and trying to get this set for myself. And I know that the days that I get that right are good days. And the days that I don't get that right tend to drag on. And I sometimes don't get exactly everything I want to get to done or everything I need to get done. Coffee's starting to kick in on the live show, so let me just end with this. You know, we create the good days with our good intentions. So let's make sure we get our minds right in the morning. So just ask yourself at some time, in the shower, in a journal in the morning as you're waking up. And you know what are you excited for today? What are you looking forward to? How can you feel that more today? And it'll change your day and your week and the trajectory of your life, probably. That sounds really big. I need to work on that, but okay, guys, hope you enjoyed this show. I'll see you tomorrow for Ask a Coach a Question. If you have any questions, you can always direct message me.
