Don't you hate when you record a piece of content like a podcast or YouTube video and a mic goes out or something happens and it just sounds terrible? You know, what do you do in those types of situations? Do you get a degree in sound production? Do you go and beg friends that have, you know, are comfortable technology, are comfortable with fixing sound? Do you do the hours and hours and hours of searching on the Internet on how to fix it? Or do you use smart and practical AI tools to help you fix things? Hi, I'm Sean Butner, I'm a podcaster, certified high performance coach and do content on YouTube pretty regularly. And I love descript and it's for features like the one that I want to demo for you today called Studio Sound that really make it super easy for you to to do your work and to not spend hours trying to min max sound. So here's the situation. Earlier this week I recorded a podcast episode and I thought my good mic was recording but something died there. And so my system audio picked up and it's really echoey and really kind of terrible. So let me show you what I mean. So here we go. Here is how it sounds, you know, currently. Welcome to the Meaningful Revolution podcast. I am your host, Sean Butter Surf. Okay, so here are ugly and kind of crazy. It is build and implement a life that you find fulfilling and is worth living and today's. So that's the improvement with just a click of a button. It's just that easy. So let me show you guys how to enable this on one of your videos, right? So let me open a new file, go to projects. So see, was there a time in your life when you weren't paying attention to it? So how you would enable your studio audio, click on these audio effects, Hit studio sound for the whole file. It's going to do its thing, that message down over here. Saying it's processing. And while we're waiting. One of the reasons why I love descript for podcasts and things is you can, with a click of a button, remove filler words. So just apply to all this will take all the ums, ahs, repeat words, all that stuff. It might take a little bit longer to cancel processing with the sound, but this is another great. I use the stuff all the time. I don't believe this feature is AI, but the Studio Sound one definitely is. And so if as we're going through here, you saw the before and after I left the last file. But this is again super, super helpful because like look like this transcript is way cleaner. Usually in my workflow as we're waiting for this to process too, you can throw this whole thing, this transcript into like a word document or whatever you do for your editing. You can use some other like AI editing tools or something like a Grammarly something I currently use to tighten it up and make sure that everything's great. You can post that as your captions for your videos if you're not also familiar with the script. Like if you edit things right now in this text file, it'll edit the video. So as we're waiting for this to change, I won't do that. But it's pretty awesome on how that can really speed up and change how you edit your content. So yeah, it's been a difficult paradigm, but if you haven't done final cut editing before, Adobe or any of those types of things, this is a pretty awesome all in one editing tool for your videos. It'll also add captions. So if you do like social media parts, it could be great. So let's just check this out. So we have studio on. So it just took three minutes from when I hit that start button.
