Summer Chang went to a Maker Faire with family and friends and felt her passion for building reignite. She met other makers, heard their stories, and said goodbye to her mentor Tom Matano, reflecting on a year of loss and her intention to live fully in his honor.
This Sunday, I went to Maker Faire with family and friends. It reminded me how much I love building and creating. It was also the day we said goodbye to Tom, my mentor, my teacher, and someone I looked up to. This year has been full of loss, but I want to keep living fully for them. At Maker Faire, meeting makers and hearing their stories was exciting, creative, and inspiring.
