A short YouTube video by Susan Elizabeth Santsche (Susan Santee) offering practical tips to create a spa-like "serenity lounge" at home. The speaker lists sensory elements to reproduce a spa experience—sound, smell, touch, luxurious treatments—and concrete tools such as an essential-oil diffuser, lavender on a pillow, candles, nature-sound players, lotions, journal rituals, a spa pillow for extra rest, and changing treatments for invigoration or sleep. The talk emphasizes using these elements in the bedroom ("we spend eight to ten hours" there) to enable daily staycation-style spa moments.

Hi, I'm Susan Santee from Spa Talks Sharing positive Alternatives. Today we're going to talk about creating a serenity lounge right here in your home. When was the last time you wanted to go on a spa vacation to enjoy the serenity and peacefulness that a spa has to offer? Have you thought about being able to take a staycation every single day? We spend eight to ten hours right here in our bedroom. So let's think about some of the elements that we have in a spa to create our spa moments and our spa living right here at home. All you have to do is think about what are the most important elements for you. Was it sound? Was it smell? Was it touch? Was it the experience of the luxurious treatments? All of those elements can be brought right here into your home. This is an essential oil diffuser that will allow you to have aromatic fragrances whether it needs to be invigorating or help you calm down so that you can sleep at night. You can also add some essence of lavender right to your pillow so so that you can create a serenity environment. You can use candles to help create the mood, and you can also integrate some little sound treatments. These little spa moments are an amazing little touch that can add the sounds of nature and be able to add all those elements. Choosing different varieties of lotion also create a great essence. You will find things that you can do for invigoration, for sleep. You can create a spa vacation every single day and you can even change the choice of treatments you're going to have. So start your spa day off with a spa ritual by writing in your journal and creating all the memories that you might have had from your night's sleep before. Create yourself a nice little spa pillow. So when you awaken too early and you need to get a little bit more rest, just put this pillow over your eyes and be refreshed. Creating a spa moment and creating spa tranquility will bring you the most essence that you deserve for your spa living. I'm Susan Sante, Sharing positive alternatives, and I'm looking forward to you sharing a positive alternative. What have you done to create spa living within your home? I'm looking forward for you to share with me today.
