Hi, I'm Susan Sanchi from Spa Talks Sharing Positive Alternatives. And today we're going to share a positive alternative that will help you. How many of you are noticing that you have a lot of swelling in your feet and your ankles? It's been rather warm this summer and so most of us are experiencing that. Especially if you have a job where you stand on the feet or maybe even worse yet, while you're sitting at a desk all day. It's as simple as keeping a dry brush right next to your routine in your morning before your feet even hit the floor. If you can actually take that dry brush and and move all your lymphatic fluid up and out. What this does is it creates all the lymph to be moved so that you will get rid of that swelling around the ankle. You can also add some essential oils. Peppermint is the one of choice for when you're needing some invigoration. You can add this to one of your lotions. Essential oils are our wellness center and each week we will talk about different essential oils so that you can add to the therapy and aroma not only to your orophaxis, but to actually help you with the swelling. Because I'm sure a lot of you are having a lot of problems. In fact, if some of you have found some other techniques that work, why don't you go ahead and post them below? The other trick is to soak your feet in ice water. It's called K Night therapy. When you're traveling and you don't even have the availability for your dry brush. If you just take your waste paper basket, go to the local ice machine in the hall and create some water and put your feet in cold ice water, you will notice such a difference. You can get back out there and start shopping. So any of you with any extra spa tips and techniques to help with foot swelling feet, please list them below.
