In this short self‑care session, Susie Taaffe introduces her “Unshaped Sessions” concept—removing the emotional “shapewear” of negative beliefs, family patterns, and societal should‑s. She offers a two‑part prescription: first, three deep belly breaths to reset any startled or fearful feeling; second, a series of self‑affirmations (“I am a miracle, I am amazing, I am wonderful”) spoken to oneself in a mirror or rear‑view mirror, visualizing a sparkling light around the heart. She explains how to apply the practice in everyday moments such as traffic, and ends with a personal anecdote about picking up her children for a fair. The tone is warm, motivational, and therapeutic, emphasizing the listener’s inherent worth and encouraging regular use of the breathing‑and‑affirmation routine.

Hello, welcome, welcome, beautiful people. I am Susie, and this is the Susie Unshaped Sessions, where we are unshaping all of the emotional shapewear that has been applied to you over your life, consciously, subconsciously, belief systems, patterns, family patterns. All of the things, and we're here to strip it all back and bring you back to your heart. So my name's Susie Taaffe, and I thought I was just creating a comfy pair of underwear, and it has actually evolved into, um, learning how to feel good within ourselves. And so originally I thought that was just in your body, like feeling good in comfy undies and being able to get on with your day, but I realized it expands to so much more in every aspect of your life. And it's all of those negative talk, negative talk, negative self-beliefs, all of the, um, fears that we have around things. Um, it's the all the shoulds, anything with a should. And yesterday I did a great live about is it a should or is it good? So you can watch that one if you want to dig more into that. But Um, today I just want everyone to breathe. Breathe in right down into your belly. So let's breathe deep. Big breath in, in. Hold and let it all go. And breathe in. Hold and let it all go. Breathe in, hold, and let it all go. So 3 deep breaths, 1, 2, 3, is my prescription for absolutely anything. If ever you get startled or surprised by something, or you get, um, Like a fear jumps in, first step is always 3 deep breaths. And the second step I want you to remember is you are a miracle. You are an amazing person and you are a complete miracle. Even you being here, I think it's like 1 in a 400 trillion chance of you being born. So that in itself. Shows how miraculous you are. So I am really, really, really wanting to nail this home today to tell you that you are amazing. You are absolutely incredibly wonderful. That's you. Yes, I'm talking to you. And I'm not sure who needs to hear this, but that's the second part. So my first prescription, 3 deep breaths. My second part of the prescription is remember what an amazing human being that you are. You, yes, I'm talking to you. You are so special and you are so loved. Like, you are so loved and you have so much support behind the scenes that you don't even realize that you have. And you do. And that's because you're a miracle. You're amazing. Like, you are incredible. Are you getting the point here now? That is the point, because I just want you to really get it. Like, you really have to understand how amazing you are. So all of the shoulds and all the negativity and all of that stuff, I want you To go and look in the mirror and say to yourself, I love you. I want you to say, you are amazing. I want you to say, you are incredible. I want you to say, you are wonderful. You are so loved. Or sorry, flip that. I am. So in the mirror, you are going to say, I am. A miracle, and then you're going to say, "I am wonderful," and then you're going to say, "I am amazing." So that is my prescription for you today. I am a miracle. I am amazing, and I am wonderful. And then a few deep breaths more in, and I want you to feel it in your heart like. Feel those words circling around your heart. You can imagine like maybe some sparkly pink light or sparkly gold light or something just swirling around your heart of I am a miracle, I am amazing, and I am wonderful. So into the mirror, you can practice this at the rearview mirror, in the rearview mirror if you're stuck in traffic. I did another live about how we can get frustrated when we're stuck in traffic and So here is a prescription for you when you're stuck in traffic. As I said in my last one, it is, I am exactly where I'm meant to be. And then your new prescription is, I am amazing. I am a miracle. And I am wonderful. And breathe it into your heart and then put on your favorite song. And in actual fact, I'm going to go put my favorite song on now as I drive to go pick my kids up. And we're taking them to the Echo, which is like a show with rides and animals and horse— um, well, there's horses, yes, but like, and showbags and Dagwood dogs and fairy floss and like a fair kind of thing. So anyway, I love you all dearly, and you are amazing. You are a miracle, and you are wonderful. Love you. Bye.
