Love all the parts of yourself | A short process to healing your heart

In this short guided meditation, the speaker leads listeners through a self‑compassion exercise aimed at healing the parts of themselves that carry shame, guilt, and feelings of not being good enough. Listeners are instructed to close their eyes, visualize a younger version of themselves (the “inner child”) who is experiencing negative emotions, and immediately offer a hug and loving affirmation. The speaker emphasizes a non‑judgmental dialogue where the inner child can speak freely, and the adult self listens without shame. The practice is framed as a daily 5‑minute routine to reconnect with neglected emotional parts, counteract the speaker’s own “helper” tendency of fixing others instead of caring for oneself, and to cultivate acceptance of both the “amazing” and the “embarrassing” aspects of one’s life. The overall goal is to foster self‑acceptance, reduce internal shame, and strengthen the inner relationship with oneself.
